Downloading music is illegal, if you want the new song, wait for its release and go and buy it!

It`s not like I don`t understand...

... it is..well, in a way I don`t understand. Yes, downloading music is illegal, but where on earth should we get E`s new song then? It is going to be on the new version of "Insomniac" that will be released in France.. and well, I don`t live in France, not even near to it. So advice "wait for its release and go and buy it!" isn`t the smartest one. Especially when I think of all the costs it takes just for one song...
... this doesn`t mean that I support illegal downloads. I just would like that people who  ban download links, would also provide some links or give some advice where we could get this song by not supporting pirating but supporting Enrique instead.

You replied to me so I know you have internet access, there are a million places on the internet that you can now buy singles/albums and digital downloads, nothing is impossible anymore, it might cost more in postage but I guess it depends how bad you want the new song, and whether you want a single or a digital download, which has no postage costs. 

It takes time to write a new song, it takes time and a lot of money to record a new song, it takes a lot of time and a lot of money to promote a new song, the only feedback an artist gets is sales on whether all that time and money recording a new song was worth it. Downloading illegally gives no feedback and you're directly stealing. If everyone that had downloaded a song illegally had bought it instead, Enrique would have had a lot more than 18 #1 singles!

i am searching now to get it..is it released yet and will it be released in the US ...i dont care what i have to pay to get it ...i want the single can you help?

The new version of Insomniac will be released in more countries. I asked Universal and it will be released in Belgium too. You can always buy a single or full ablum from I-tunes. I'm sure the new version of Insomniac will be available there.

You are completely right that everyone should buy and 'download' enrique's songs in a legal way, I have no problem with that...
but what if we have a live version of enrique, which is really great, can we still post that?? coz these songs we can't buy anywhere

We all need to support the music industry and do things legally. I absolutely love the new song and will purchase it. I have limited access to the internet - if someone could tell me where I can "legally" go to purchase/download the song I would really appreciate it.

Hey eimod1 - is there any chance that fans someday will be able to purchase the cd from this site or the oficial site - I don't know muach about this kind of stuff so I go apologize for my ignorance!

Also I agree with you downloading music is illegal but i guess many on this site are students and are not working and surely can't afford much money to spend on postage, etc........thats one of the reasons.

I 100% agree!! It makes my blood boil when i see people downloading music illegally, especially when it's E's music. I've pointed it out in the past, i think the last time was when DEC came out and everyone wanted to get their hands on it understandably. I said make sure you actually BUY it too and i know i sounded like nag  and people probably thought "whatever you moaning old minnie" but it's important and it's something i feel strongly about. If everyone had the attitude of "if i can get it for free why should i pay for it" then noone would buy music anymore.  Even if you cant afford the album and the postage, it doesn't cost too much to download legally.

I'm sure the single will be released as well as it being on the french album and if it's not  released in your country then you could get it from itunes or any other websites out there. Even if you didn't want to pay the postage that some websites charge then i'm sure if you ask any fans that can get hold of it they'd be happy to post a copy out to you at a reasonable rate. Enrique works so damn hard on his music so dont steal it from him.

It would be helpful  like Lola said if maybe there was a link posted here to where we can purchase the new album and single from :)

Yes, EIMOD - most of us would never think of downloading Enrique's new song illegally!  We support Enrique and want to help his sales.  What we would like is that HIS OFFICIAL WEBSITE makes the new song available for us to download legally and pay for it so it can count towards the sales.  So please provide us with that service!!  Or provide us with the links to the sites where we can download it legally.  We should not have to search all over the internet ourselves to find these things - we should have it RIGHT HERE ON ENRIQUE'S OFFICIAL SITE at our fingertips. 

As someone who has a direct line to Enrique's management - do YOUR part to make sure the new song is RIGHT HERE for us to enjoy!  That's what we expect - but 9 times out of 10 - we are disappointed with the lack of communication and news from Enrique's people.  Surprise us - make us happy - GIVE US THE NEW SONG RIGHT HERE ON THIS SITE TO PURCHASE LEGALLY!!!   Thank you in advance.

We should support Enrique by buying his wonderful music legally.  That would be awesome if we could buy the music from one of Enique's official websites, here, the fanclub we pay for and/or the univeral website.  I don't mind getting a download if I can't get the song but I'd much rather have "the real thing" and I'd pay whatever shipping necessary to get it.
You can do a search on google or better yet, search with Enrique!  LOL  (get some swag bucks!) Search to try to find where to buy the CD.
A website I have ordered from is eil.com but they don't have  the single or the rereleased album listed yet.  And they are not super fast for imports.  (they are located in the UK).  I ordered the French versoin of TOBS when we first heard about it in March.  They said I'd have it April 28, then they changed to May 16, and now to May 23.  I just have to be patient I guess . . . .
I sure hope they sell Can You Hear me retail in the U.S.  We don't usually get singles here so they'd have to sell the rerleased album.  I'd love to be able to walk into a CD store and just buy it!  It's so much easier!  LOL

Chaz i am right there with you and linda....there are some great ideals about downloading here that would be great!
Enrique does work soo hard on his music and to download illegally is just plain wrong...
we get anxious to get the new song......so patience is a virtue here...
