A fun but silly story...The last & final chapter is on page 478..updated 16th August 2012
Now i must explain first when i went to this concert i wasn’t a huge fan my friend Sophie asked if i would go and i said yes i`ll go, never seen him live i wasn’t that bothered who he was, i just love live music. We did make sure that Enrique`s greatest hits cd was playing all the way to Cardiff just so i didn’t look stupid ,but i knew all his songs anyway ,just never brought any of his albums. The only song i hadn’t listened to in a long time was “ hero “ and that song reminded me of my ex and every time it was played i use to turn the radio off! Too many memories , too hurtful to listen too.
So, we drive to Cardiff to watch Enrique in concert, it took us about 2 hours to get there traffic was good on this particular day thank god, when we arrived around 4pm it was a lovely sunny day.
We found somewhere to park quite easy right next to the Cardiff arena. We sat in the car wondering
what to do as we were so early, i said “well , we could walk into town go get something to eat, go shopping just to kill sometime then come back a little later on”.
We got out the car, we decided to check which way we had to go in to the arena we looked up & noticed a huge crowd had developed at the back of the arena, so went to see what all the fuss was about.Enrique had just arrived and he was running late as usual and i just saw the top of his hat, all these girls were screaming out his name to which i just laughed and shook my head, all of a sudden i heard some one call my name “June, June “over here i looked over by the barrier & noticed a guy waving at me, it was one of the Roadie`s that i knew called Jamie i knew Jamie from another gig he was doing ages ago. Jamie was 6ft with short Blonde hair not bad looking if i were honest.
He called me over & asked how i was, said i was fine said hello to my friend Sophie, i said to” Jamie what brings you here” he replied “the company i work for are doing the Enrique tour”, “wow that`s good for ya” i replied. Jamie then said to me “Are you still a keen photographer”
“yes i am why?” Looking really puzzled.
“Well Enrique`s resident photographer has had to go back home to Miami due to ill health & the management & Enrique are losing their minds because they desperately need someone to take photos for tonight`s gig & the rest of his tour”. I smiled & said “what has that got to do with me” acting a bit dumb and smiling at Jamie “well ,was wondering if your up to doing it i would have to go and speak to his people first” i blushed and i said “yeah would love too, but it wont Happen Jamie they wouldn’t want someone like me ,miss ordinary doing that sort of thing, he said “lets try yeah?”
I gave him my number & he said he would ring & let me know either way.
We walked off and Sophie was dead excited i said “don’t get your hopes up it aint going to happen lets walk in to town to get something to eat” by this time i was starving it was like 4.30pm we hadn’t eaten since 9am & that was at breakfast!
we got half way in to town when my phone rings its Jamie i gasp at Sophie, shaking i answered it & he said “where are you? Walking in to town why? “
“Well you better get your sorry little arse back here they want you to do some test shots of Enrique`s sound check & if your any good you`ve got the gig!!” I squealed with delight & went “nah Jamie your winding me up” he replied “i am not June, Enrique said he wanted to see what you were
made of! So, seriously get your arse back here now, but you have to be here
like now” he screamed. “Ok, ok” i said “we`re coming back right now but i warn you, you better not be winding me up Jamie! “I turned to Sophie & said “we`ve gotta go back they want me now!” smiling
really silly I said to Jamie “we`re be there in about 10 minutes”
I screamed, jumped up & down, said “we going to have to run back mate” she laughed & said “what in these heels” i said “yeah take them off “laughing.we ran as fast as we could back to the arena as it was getting late it was about 5.00pm and the doors were due to open at 6.30pm but Enrique hadn’t even done his sound check.
We got back to the arena and there was even more people waiting to see Enrique and as we were walking towards the barrier i heard some bloke say to these girls “oh they reckon they going to just walk up & go straight in” i smiled at the little cocky bloke as The security guy lifted the barrier up, i said “we`re here to see Jamie”, the guy look over at Jamie he gave The nod and the security guard let us through. The bloke blushed with embarrassment, i looked at him and laughed he put his head down because he knew how stupid he sounded, to be honest i don’t think he even knew we heard him say
what he did.
Jamie said “here your both going to need these access all areas passes” as we were walking into the venue, we put them over our heads so that the hung from out necks, so that they could be scanned each time we went anywhere.
“Sophie, your going to have to sit this one out i`m afraid your have to wait in the lounge room as Enrique doesn’t want anyone else in the arena apart from the Band, sound engineers & his management and of course June” Jamie smiled at this because he knew that this could be the best thing that has happened to me. It did make me blush that Enrique only wanted me in there with the others, and i thought, yeah right as if Enrique would even give me a second glance.
Jamie took me through and i remember thinking this is too good to be true someone pinch me please, my heart was beating so fast i was shaking, the palms of my hands were sweaty and my mouth was dry, Dave one of the sound guys introduced me to everyone he said “you can go anywhere you like,
where would you prefer to take your pix?” I said sheepishly ,”can i go on the cat walk?”
Dave replied “yes you can”, smiling at me there was some small steps leading to end of the catwalk & i decided i was going to sit crossed legged at the end to take some pix just take a few then go nearer once i plucked up the courage to do so...Id never seen Enrique in concert let alone met him & i never really been nervous when i have met famous people before,but this time “oh boy”
Enrique popped out from the side of the stage saw me sitting on the end of the catwalk & waved said
in to the microphone “Hey June, you ok?”
The house lights were up so he could see me clearly He looked so handsome and so tall id forgotten how tall he was. He was wearing his trade mark cap jeans, white hoodie with a scarf to keep his throat warm. I thought my heart was going to stop beating, I could feel it miss a beat when i saw him standing there smiling. I was looking up feeling myself blushing a lot i waved back & smiled thinking my god he looks even more handsome in the flesh.
The band starting playing ring my bells just as Enrique started walking towards me i was laughing to myself because i was so nervous, i could feel myself going red as he walked up to me smiling and singing “ring my bells” He stopped singing, the band continued to play.
He came right up to me sat down in front of me crossed his legs and our knees were touching each other, he said “you ok”? too which i replied “well err no, if i am honest i am shitting myself,” too which
he burst out laughing “hold your hands out “i put my camera down & i held my hands out he said “turn your hands, so your palms are facing the floor”, i looked at him he said “wow, you really are shitting yourself “ he said laughing at me “ your hands are shaking like mad, just like mine”
he started to laugh as he made his hands shake. I laugh at him thinking you silly sod but he put me at ease really quickly.
Enrique then said “bet your heart is beating real fast? “To that i answered “yes, it is “ took his right hand & placed it on my heart without even thinking where his hand was, he looked me right in the eye for a good few seconds smiled and then moved his hand away slowly, he was still smiling at this point. I thought how embarrassing was that, i mean, I don’t even know the guy really & go and do that to him, stupid, stupid i kept saying to myself.
I also remember thinking how beautiful his eyes were while he looking at me for that split moment,the skin on is hands was so soft. He then took hold of my camera & came right next me put his to head to my head & took a photo,” smile” he said as he was taking it.
He then got up ,extended his arms ,pulled me up said “bet your not nervous now are ya”
kissed me on both cheeks gave me hug and said “go for it June , take as many pix as you like, the more the better lets see how good u really are!! Put it this way if these photo`s don’t come out very good Jamie is going to be in big trouble” laughing.
I took about 50 photos of him doing the sound check he was running late as usual but he needed
to make sure everything was good to go for tonight`s gig, he finished & i said “Thanks Enrique” he said “No probs June i`ll take a look at them now if that`s ok? Yeah of course”, I took the memory card out the camera and gave it to him he said “do you mind waiting in the lounge room with the band? Just while i take a look at these with Fernando and we won`t keep you in suspense too long i promise you” he said smiling & he gave me a wink.
Went into the lounge room & my friend Sophie was talking
to Laura Jane they both asked how it went i said “ok i think, their looking at them now” i said nervously. Laura said “he will love them June trust me, Sophie has showed me some other photo`s that you have taken & you are really good June, Don`t put yourself down”, “cant help it “”i replied “just don’t think i am that good if i am totally honest with you” i snapped and i apologise for snapping but she understood how much this meant to me.
I smiled at her but i wasn’t convinced kept thinking he wasn’t going to like them & that they would be wasting their time testing me when they could have got a professional photographer in for one night.
About half an hour went past and i have to say it was the longest half hour of my life i was walking up & down the room thinking to myself he won`t like them, bet they turned out blurred. Everyone kept telling me sit down don’t worry, but i couldn’t i was worrying big time.
Then the door swings open i stop dead in my tracks, Fernando says “June, come with me”...Gulp i looked at everyone in the room they wished me luck. Enrique`s dressing room was at the end of the corridor my heart was beating so fast, i was so sure that Fernando could hear it going boom,
boom boom, Fernando knocked on Enrique`s door walked in & said to me “come in, sit down next to Enrique” i smiled and said “thanks” as i did Enrique kissed me again on the cheek & said “well
well well.”...............
I was really blushing at this point my heart was pounding, my hands a little sweaty, my mouth was so dry & i honestly thought i was going to cry.........

Morgan not when i am writng, but sometimes when I read it back I get embarrassed, but when I found out Enrique knows all about this too i started to feel abit weird....I actually know now, the day I ever meet him (if ) in the flesh I will truly Blush for England pmsl.....xx

Oh that would be so awkward. It would probably be just as embarrassing on his end too, because he probably knows about the comments we've all written too, plus what you've written. I bet you would have a blast when you meet him though, at least you would have something to talk about!

Ahhhh, I must say I was still on high from the - almost - encounter and his presence at only a few meters from me. and now this chapter. It's killing me. Need a doctor, no, need that man to calm me down, or to do to me what he does in the story. Sighhhhhh

A Fun But Silly Story Part 2
Chapter 12
The door bell rang & I made Enrique go & answer it was Jane the Social worker she followed Enrique in to the lounge & she said “Hello” to me sat down and got out her file & pen, looked at Enrique & I.
She smiled at us both said “So, you haven’t changed your minds have you?” Enrique & I looked at each other smiled & said “We want Olivia” she smiles “I was so hoping you would take her on, we will need you to sign some papers first & we will need her to get a passport” Enrique asks “How long will this take? Would we need to meet her first?” the social worker says “I think it would be good to meet her” I looked at her said “well, how? as I am not allowed to fly anywhere until the twins are born!” “Well, then that might be a problem, we wont be able to sort out the passport for at least 2 weeks!” We look at one another I say “there is nothing we can do then until Olivia`s passport is sorted!” Enrique places his arm around me pulls me in closer says “hey look at it like this, we can look forward to meeting her & plan a day out for her” I smile & nod at him he was right, it was all we could do for now.
We both couldn’t wait to meet her for the first time, the social worker asked us to read & sign the paperwork, which we did read it very carefully. I asked Jane “How is Olivia holding up?” She sighs “well, you know June, we have told her but i don’t think it has sunk in to her, she is only 5, but we`re make sure she speaks to someone everyday, I spoke to her a few days ago, she does cry for her parents, but she also said she was looking forward & waiting for the right family to come & get her” I smiled but I had tears in my eyes, thinking that my poor little baby girl all on her own.
Enrique had read the papers he said to Jane “in this it does state that she will need counselling, we can provide that, for her” she smiled and said “I knew you would do the right thing, now don’t forget its not going to be easy, after all you already have a baby & she will need attention, but she might surprise you, I must go now i will be in touch ref the first meet once Olivia`s passport come through” She shook both our hands & went on her way.
Enrique was standing up as i walked back in to the lounge he opened his arms to me & he hugged me tightly, saying “I think we have made the right decision you know” I lean away from him stand on tip toe & kiss his sweet smooth lips very gently” he smiles at me says “come with me, with that he takes my hand & we head through the kitchen saying to May “ can you look after Ella we`re going take the dogs out for a run” She smiled & nodded.
Still holding hands we head to the beach throwing the balls out to the dogs, he stops says “You know, I never thought I would ever be this happy June, I mean, look at us” he felt my bump I looked down at him smiled placed my hand over his hand and he leaned down to kiss me very gently on the lips.
The dogs were going mad they wanted the balls thrown so we threw them, and he carried on kissing then he said “I have an idea how about after we head back we ask May to organise a picnic for us for this afternoon” I smiled kiss him say “yeah, that would be great babe”
Enrique runs after the dogs throws the balls in the direction of home, he wanted to make sure they had enough exercise, I was walking behind them laughing cos at one stage both the dogs ran at him & jumped up and he lost his balance & was on the sand with the dogs all over him. I ran over to him moved the dogs away laughing he pulls me down on top of him. He kisses me then the dogs are all over us, i was laughing so hard the babies were kicking. I ended up on the sand as Enrique was trying to get up, but we both had a fit of giggles, I tried to get up so many times I put my hand up said “I cant babe” laughing at him
We eventually get up holding hands we head back to the house with Lucas & Alfie ahead of us we keep laughing at each other, as we get back Enrique asks May if she could sort out a picnic for us for this afternoon, she started sorting that out for us.
I went upstairs & Enrique says to me as he was sitting on the edge of the bed “Hey how about you put your swimming costume on?” I looked at him laughed said “I don’t think so” he looked puzzled at me he was sitting on the bed he says “why not, you look great June, you should show the bump off” I looked at him walked towards him saying “its not that i don’t want to show my bump off its more like my costume will not fit babe” he grabs me round the waist kisses the bump, as i play with his thick Jet Black hair, I love putting my fingers through his hair. He then says “well in that case maybe you wont need your bikini on June” winking at me, I slapped him, i knew he wanted to go skinny dipping!
About 20 minutes later we ready for our picnic we were going in the boat somewhere he helped me on board, we sat down & off we went I was sitting at the back of him he was sitting between my legs I had my arms around his waist. We arrived at this remote spot he looked around through his binoculars made sure no one had followed us; he turned kissed me full on the mouth. Enrique sorts the boat out & he puts out his arms to help me out, it was a warm sunny day he took the picnic basket off me & we walk off hand in hand.
He found the perfect spot after about 10 minutes or so he laid the blankets on the sand help me sit down, he sat right behind his legs either said of my body, he laid back against the sand dune, & i lay back on his chest, he brings his arms around my body. I sit up stare at him he was like “what`s up June?” I smile go to the picnic basket get out the strawberries, I take one & I start to feed him with them, he looks sits up smiles kisses me. Enrique says “I wanna go for a swim will you come with me?” I looked at him I had put my bikini on but i wasn’t happy, so i had put on vest op and cotton shorts, “yeah ok” he smiles takes my hand and we go in the ocean. I swim to him the water is up our waists he gets his hands & pulls off my top and he smiles “Hey, you did put your bikini on, does that mean you have the bottoms on as well?” I smiled he grabs my shorts pulls at them then slides them down my legs he says “wait there” he swims back to our stuff lays my top and shorts out to dry and swims back to me. I smile as he swims quite fast to get back to me, he stops takes me in his arms and we kiss as we do he reaches around the back & pulls the strings to my top & it falls off he bends down to pick it up & I go in the water more up to my neck just incase anybody had a long lense camera, he was laughing at me he had hold of my top gets closer to me and we kiss full on the mouth & we make love in the water.
We quickly put our swim wear back on & we swim back to have our picnic, i lay down stroke my bump & say “You know I am sure these 2 in here are having a fight, they are moving around like mad, look?” He was laughing he “perhaps they haven’t got much room in there June, that`s why everyone reckons you wont go full term, shame they may not be born on my birthday, but I don’t mind really” I smile at him as he passes some food to me.
After we had something to eat we lay down on the blankets, both on our sides looking at each, he strokes the top of my breasts , i stroke his chest, he smiles says “I love you” I smile all lovey dovey back at him, in shy kinda way say ”I love you too”
We decided to go back home as we got home May said “How was your picnic?” I smile “really good thanks May how`s Ella?” May said “No trouble, a little angel as usual” I said “I am going for a lie down in the snug will you let Enrique know when he get`s off the phone please May?” she nods says “sure, no probs”
I go in to the snug lie down close my eyes & I fall asleep real quick, I wake up with a sudden jolt, i rub my belly the babies don’t move, I shout out “ENRIQUE CAN YOU COME HERE PLEASE?” he runs in says “what`s up June” I said with tears falling down my face, we need to go to the hospital” he looks at me as he is helping me up says “why babe?” I can`t feel the babies moving & I am so scared real scared babe”
