A fun but silly story...The last & final chapter is on page 478..updated 16th August 2012
Now i must explain first when i went to this concert i wasn’t a huge fan my friend Sophie asked if i would go and i said yes i`ll go, never seen him live i wasn’t that bothered who he was, i just love live music. We did make sure that Enrique`s greatest hits cd was playing all the way to Cardiff just so i didn’t look stupid ,but i knew all his songs anyway ,just never brought any of his albums. The only song i hadn’t listened to in a long time was “ hero “ and that song reminded me of my ex and every time it was played i use to turn the radio off! Too many memories , too hurtful to listen too.
So, we drive to Cardiff to watch Enrique in concert, it took us about 2 hours to get there traffic was good on this particular day thank god, when we arrived around 4pm it was a lovely sunny day.
We found somewhere to park quite easy right next to the Cardiff arena. We sat in the car wondering
what to do as we were so early, i said “well , we could walk into town go get something to eat, go shopping just to kill sometime then come back a little later on”.
We got out the car, we decided to check which way we had to go in to the arena we looked up & noticed a huge crowd had developed at the back of the arena, so went to see what all the fuss was about.Enrique had just arrived and he was running late as usual and i just saw the top of his hat, all these girls were screaming out his name to which i just laughed and shook my head, all of a sudden i heard some one call my name “June, June “over here i looked over by the barrier & noticed a guy waving at me, it was one of the Roadie`s that i knew called Jamie i knew Jamie from another gig he was doing ages ago. Jamie was 6ft with short Blonde hair not bad looking if i were honest.
He called me over & asked how i was, said i was fine said hello to my friend Sophie, i said to” Jamie what brings you here” he replied “the company i work for are doing the Enrique tour”, “wow that`s good for ya” i replied. Jamie then said to me “Are you still a keen photographer”
“yes i am why?” Looking really puzzled.
“Well Enrique`s resident photographer has had to go back home to Miami due to ill health & the management & Enrique are losing their minds because they desperately need someone to take photos for tonight`s gig & the rest of his tour”. I smiled & said “what has that got to do with me” acting a bit dumb and smiling at Jamie “well ,was wondering if your up to doing it i would have to go and speak to his people first” i blushed and i said “yeah would love too, but it wont Happen Jamie they wouldn’t want someone like me ,miss ordinary doing that sort of thing, he said “lets try yeah?”
I gave him my number & he said he would ring & let me know either way.
We walked off and Sophie was dead excited i said “don’t get your hopes up it aint going to happen lets walk in to town to get something to eat” by this time i was starving it was like 4.30pm we hadn’t eaten since 9am & that was at breakfast!
we got half way in to town when my phone rings its Jamie i gasp at Sophie, shaking i answered it & he said “where are you? Walking in to town why? “
“Well you better get your sorry little arse back here they want you to do some test shots of Enrique`s sound check & if your any good you`ve got the gig!!” I squealed with delight & went “nah Jamie your winding me up” he replied “i am not June, Enrique said he wanted to see what you were
made of! So, seriously get your arse back here now, but you have to be here
like now” he screamed. “Ok, ok” i said “we`re coming back right now but i warn you, you better not be winding me up Jamie! “I turned to Sophie & said “we`ve gotta go back they want me now!” smiling
really silly I said to Jamie “we`re be there in about 10 minutes”
I screamed, jumped up & down, said “we going to have to run back mate” she laughed & said “what in these heels” i said “yeah take them off “laughing.we ran as fast as we could back to the arena as it was getting late it was about 5.00pm and the doors were due to open at 6.30pm but Enrique hadn’t even done his sound check.
We got back to the arena and there was even more people waiting to see Enrique and as we were walking towards the barrier i heard some bloke say to these girls “oh they reckon they going to just walk up & go straight in” i smiled at the little cocky bloke as The security guy lifted the barrier up, i said “we`re here to see Jamie”, the guy look over at Jamie he gave The nod and the security guard let us through. The bloke blushed with embarrassment, i looked at him and laughed he put his head down because he knew how stupid he sounded, to be honest i don’t think he even knew we heard him say
what he did.
Jamie said “here your both going to need these access all areas passes” as we were walking into the venue, we put them over our heads so that the hung from out necks, so that they could be scanned each time we went anywhere.
“Sophie, your going to have to sit this one out i`m afraid your have to wait in the lounge room as Enrique doesn’t want anyone else in the arena apart from the Band, sound engineers & his management and of course June” Jamie smiled at this because he knew that this could be the best thing that has happened to me. It did make me blush that Enrique only wanted me in there with the others, and i thought, yeah right as if Enrique would even give me a second glance.
Jamie took me through and i remember thinking this is too good to be true someone pinch me please, my heart was beating so fast i was shaking, the palms of my hands were sweaty and my mouth was dry, Dave one of the sound guys introduced me to everyone he said “you can go anywhere you like,
where would you prefer to take your pix?” I said sheepishly ,”can i go on the cat walk?”
Dave replied “yes you can”, smiling at me there was some small steps leading to end of the catwalk & i decided i was going to sit crossed legged at the end to take some pix just take a few then go nearer once i plucked up the courage to do so...Id never seen Enrique in concert let alone met him & i never really been nervous when i have met famous people before,but this time “oh boy”
Enrique popped out from the side of the stage saw me sitting on the end of the catwalk & waved said
in to the microphone “Hey June, you ok?”
The house lights were up so he could see me clearly He looked so handsome and so tall id forgotten how tall he was. He was wearing his trade mark cap jeans, white hoodie with a scarf to keep his throat warm. I thought my heart was going to stop beating, I could feel it miss a beat when i saw him standing there smiling. I was looking up feeling myself blushing a lot i waved back & smiled thinking my god he looks even more handsome in the flesh.
The band starting playing ring my bells just as Enrique started walking towards me i was laughing to myself because i was so nervous, i could feel myself going red as he walked up to me smiling and singing “ring my bells” He stopped singing, the band continued to play.
He came right up to me sat down in front of me crossed his legs and our knees were touching each other, he said “you ok”? too which i replied “well err no, if i am honest i am shitting myself,” too which
he burst out laughing “hold your hands out “i put my camera down & i held my hands out he said “turn your hands, so your palms are facing the floor”, i looked at him he said “wow, you really are shitting yourself “ he said laughing at me “ your hands are shaking like mad, just like mine”
he started to laugh as he made his hands shake. I laugh at him thinking you silly sod but he put me at ease really quickly.
Enrique then said “bet your heart is beating real fast? “To that i answered “yes, it is “ took his right hand & placed it on my heart without even thinking where his hand was, he looked me right in the eye for a good few seconds smiled and then moved his hand away slowly, he was still smiling at this point. I thought how embarrassing was that, i mean, I don’t even know the guy really & go and do that to him, stupid, stupid i kept saying to myself.
I also remember thinking how beautiful his eyes were while he looking at me for that split moment,the skin on is hands was so soft. He then took hold of my camera & came right next me put his to head to my head & took a photo,” smile” he said as he was taking it.
He then got up ,extended his arms ,pulled me up said “bet your not nervous now are ya”
kissed me on both cheeks gave me hug and said “go for it June , take as many pix as you like, the more the better lets see how good u really are!! Put it this way if these photo`s don’t come out very good Jamie is going to be in big trouble” laughing.
I took about 50 photos of him doing the sound check he was running late as usual but he needed
to make sure everything was good to go for tonight`s gig, he finished & i said “Thanks Enrique” he said “No probs June i`ll take a look at them now if that`s ok? Yeah of course”, I took the memory card out the camera and gave it to him he said “do you mind waiting in the lounge room with the band? Just while i take a look at these with Fernando and we won`t keep you in suspense too long i promise you” he said smiling & he gave me a wink.
Went into the lounge room & my friend Sophie was talking
to Laura Jane they both asked how it went i said “ok i think, their looking at them now” i said nervously. Laura said “he will love them June trust me, Sophie has showed me some other photo`s that you have taken & you are really good June, Don`t put yourself down”, “cant help it “”i replied “just don’t think i am that good if i am totally honest with you” i snapped and i apologise for snapping but she understood how much this meant to me.
I smiled at her but i wasn’t convinced kept thinking he wasn’t going to like them & that they would be wasting their time testing me when they could have got a professional photographer in for one night.
About half an hour went past and i have to say it was the longest half hour of my life i was walking up & down the room thinking to myself he won`t like them, bet they turned out blurred. Everyone kept telling me sit down don’t worry, but i couldn’t i was worrying big time.
Then the door swings open i stop dead in my tracks, Fernando says “June, come with me”...Gulp i looked at everyone in the room they wished me luck. Enrique`s dressing room was at the end of the corridor my heart was beating so fast, i was so sure that Fernando could hear it going boom,
boom boom, Fernando knocked on Enrique`s door walked in & said to me “come in, sit down next to Enrique” i smiled and said “thanks” as i did Enrique kissed me again on the cheek & said “well
well well.”...............
I was really blushing at this point my heart was pounding, my hands a little sweaty, my mouth was so dry & i honestly thought i was going to cry.........

Thanx for including our cake June! It was soooooooo awesome it actually made its way to Enrique. And that he even mentioned it on his news-section was an even bigger surprise!! I just hope it tasted great cause we weren't able to eat a piece of it ourselves since we couldn't give it to E personally! Fernando gave it to him. Fernando said that there were too many people who wanted to see E backstage( friends and family) and that there was absolutely no way, but that he would take care of it and, well, he obviously did,didn't he!

A Fun But Silly Story Part 2
Chapter 21
When we arrived back home, Enrique kept smiling & winking at me he is such a tease at times & he knew I wanted to have some us time, but we couldn’t! Not yet anyway. May was in the kitchen Enrique was talking to her when I walked in he shut up; I smiled shook my head & I went to sit by the pool. He walks out to me says “Hey, what`s up” I laugh at him “what you mean, what`s up, you know damn well what`s up Hun” Winking again i stood up kissed him, he took my hand whispered in my ear “follow me quickly” he was looking around everywhere, when he opened the door to the Pool house pulled me in quick shut the door & locked it!
I knew what was going to happen his took off his t-shirt as we both stripped off quickly I left my underwear on at first, he was laughing he leaned towards me kissed my neck & breasts as he was kissing my neck I was sure he bit it, i didn’t care anymore as we are so in love right now. He pulls off my panties, gently sliding them down my legs, he smiles I step out of them I go to reach round to un clasp my bra when he whispers “not yet babe”, he continues kissing my neck as i stroke his bare back. After a few minutes my bra is off, he cups & kisses even strokes my breasts, he gently bites them, My stomach was doing summersaults over & over again he had this affect on me every time. He lays me down on the rug that was conveniently left there & we made love, not once but several times. I do think this was one of the best times we have had apart from the first time we slept together back in London.
Thursday 3rd May
We had already packed for Madrid the night before as we were leaving real early like 5 am we wouldn’t get to Madrid until 8pm that night & Enrique had said to me he wanted to go to the venue, as soon as we arrived. We were staying at his mums, he wanted to see her as he hardly spent anytime with his mom, plus she hadn`t seen Ella in ages & she was still waiting to see the twins & Olivia. I was so nervous more so because of Olivia, she wasn’t Enrique`s, I wasn’t sure how his family would take to her, Enrique had said to me before the trip not to get worked up about his family, they would adore Olivia.
I was reading a book on the plane, Enrique had dozed off Olivia was colouring in & she smiled at Enrique, he looked so cute when he`s asleep, I got on with my book, when I heard Amber crying I went over to her she needed a nappy changing I grabbed the changing bag, went into the bedroom to change her. I had just finished sorting her out when i turned round Enrique was standing there “God you made me jump babe, everything ok?” he smiles says “yep, he looked at my neck said “hey you have a hickey” He was laughing “No! I better not Enrique!” I said, i looked in the mirror and sure enough you can see it, “Thanks a bunch I knew you would do that to me sooner or later”.
We arrived in Madrid it had just gone 8pm that night, the car drove us straight to Enrique`s mom`s he held my hand as we walked in, she was over the moon to see him, Plus she was so excited to see her Grand children. I let Enrique introduce Olivia to her she hugged Olivia kissed her on both cheeks, & she said “Oh June she is adorable” I thanked her she then came over to me kissed me on both cheeks asked me “How are you June?, You coping ok with all these children?” I laughed said “I am good, I think we`re coping ok, at the moment, only time will tell” She smiles at me & Enrique said “We`re going to go down to the venue Maria will sort the children out” she smiled said “all the children apart from Olivia have been put into one room with Maria, Olivia is in her own room, is that ok? Plus I will help Maria out with them” I smiled said “Thank you & yeah, she prefers being in her own room anyway!” We left the house went down to the venue, by the time we got there it was 9.30pm.
We walked inside the venue holding hands, Enrique had a grey hooded top on, I sat down on some boxes, took some photographs of the guys setting up the stage, when Dave said to me “Hey haven’t seen you in a while how you doing?” I hugged him kissed him twice on the cheeks said “Yeah real good ta” You know i have to say it I love it when your around when we`re setting up, it brightens everyone`s day up” plus Enrique ain`t dead moody when your around” I laughed I said “he isn’t moody tonight, he is just so nervous” I said “I am going for a walk to check this venue out if anyone asks, Just let them know where I am please Dave?” “he nods “sure no probs” I walked up to the top of the venue when I noticed 3 people standing by the door I heard one of them say “shit, we are so caught” I noticed it was Trudie I called her & she came over with the other Two. “Hey, how are you?” She smiled at me “Well, yeah good thanks, this is Jennifer”, I said “Hi” she replied “G`day” Blimey you have come along way to see Enrique you must be a huge fan?” She replied “you could say that”. Trudie said “I don’t know if you remember Joanne or not?” Yes, I remember Joanne how`s you?” Joanne said “yeah grand ta” Trudie asked “is there any chance we could see him tonight?” I looked at her shook my head & said “tonight not good, he is setting things up he normally gets so grumpy that`s why I leave them to it” They smiled tell you what give me a camera I`ll go & take some pictures, he will think its mine, cos I only use a small camera during rehearsals” Jennifer gave me hers “be right back guys but watch you don’t get thrown out!”
I walked back down to where they were building the stage, I took loads of pictures of Enrique I got him to pose for a couple, He smiled said “we`re get going in about 5 June” I ran back to the girls, said “that should do you” they were very grateful I said “Look i gotta go have fun probably see you guys around tomorrow night” They all said “bye & thanks” as i went back downstairs. Enrique grabbed me said “where you been?” Oh no where in particular” he puts his arms on my shoulders & he kisses me, the crew wolf whistle at us! We headed off back to his moms it was quite late now getting on for 11.30.
When we arrived back at his moms we had something to eat & drink I made my excuses to go upstairs to leave him & his Mom chatting, I kissed his mom on both cheeks said “Good night” then Kissed Enrique on the lips told him i would see him later he winked at me Grabs my hand & as I walk off we let our hands slide out of each others hands, his mom smiles at us both. When I had gone upstairs Isabel said to Enrique “You know I don’t think I have ever seen you so happy, you pair look more in Love now than when I first met June” He smiles at his mom says “Yeah, we are both so happy, & I adore June I feel like I have known her my whole life mom, she is amazing!”
Enrique came up to bed about 2am I was asleep he crept into bed Naked leaned over kissed me & we had a cuddle before going to sleep in each others arms, I knew he wanted to make love tonight, but I wanted to make sure he was in top condition for this show tomorrow night!
The next morning I woke up in bed around 8am all alone, I was a bit sad he wasn’t still sleeping beside me, I got out of bed sorted some clothes out for me for today, then went in to the shower. By the time I had finished Enrique had come back up I was just getting dressed when he comes in with a breakfast Tray, “Oh” he sounded a little disappointed “your up & dressed already babe, thought you would`ve still been asleep” I kissed him sat on the bed said “Oh sorry I thought you were waiting for me downstairs” he kissed me said “never mind baby” We still had breakfast, but on the bed instead of in bed!
We went to see the children Olivia was excited today as she was going to see her daddy sing for the first time, she was going to come to the venue with us today & then watch the show with Grandma & her new Auntie`s. Maria said “Amber & Cruz slept all through the night & Ella was on more solid food this morning, which was great, proving she was growing up real fast!” I thank Maria If I didn’t have her I don’t know where I would be she see`s the children more than I do at the moment, Enrique`s mom was helping Maria out as well, which was a huge bonus.
We drove down to the venue around 4pm, Enrique dumped all the stuff in his dressing room while I took Olivia on the stage she was super excited but a little bit scared, she held my hand, & Alex was the first to spot her, he came over said as he held out his hand to shake hers “Hey, You must be Olivia” she looked at me as if to see if it was alright if she shook his hand I smiled & nodded “Hello, what`s your name?” she asked him “Alex, pleased to meet you Olivia” she was smiling Alex said to me “wow, she is a cutie, she is going to break some hearts when she is older!” I laughed at him “Yeah, your not wrong there Alex” Enrique comes out on to the stage, to do his sound check, I sit Olivia on a speaker as i take some photographs, at one point Enrique walks over to her picks her up starts singing to her, whilst she was in his arms I took loads of photo`s of them together, her smile just made every one even the toughest of guys go “ah Bless”
The sound check was complete, he was happy we went back to the dressing room, as Enrique was doing some interviews, for local newspapers, he was speaking Spanish when I heard Olivia say to Fernando “I want to learn to speak like daddy” Fernando says “well, You can start now” he was teaching her” Hola & Gracias”.
I smile at them both say to Fernando “Just going for some fresh air, can you look after Olivia for me please” I tried to take a walk outside, but it was pouring with Rain so decided to take a peek inside the venue, the venue was starting to fill up now, the noise was loud, I walked back inside when I heard someone call me “June, June I looked round to see Rebecca & Michelle with Joanne & Trudie they explained that Jenni had got v.i.p tickets so she was here somewhere, “so where you sitting you guys?” They all smiled said “right at the front by the catwalk” wow, good seats; he is really nervous tonight guys as all his family is here & a lot of his Spanish friends, it should be a fab show” They smile as I said “well, I better go he doesn’t know where I am, his probably already looking for me, see you guys later”
I walk back to the dressing room Enrique looks over as I walk back in he walks over to me kisses me on the lips says “I want you” I looked at him said “what?” he laughed “not in that way, well not right now look at this?” He showed me a cake that had been made by some Dutch fans it was an awesome cake, a plane with him sitting on top of it! He said “it`s for me, I am so going to try that later!” ” Oh Wow, how did the cake get here then?” Enrique explained “that the girls gave it to Fernando, he would`ve got the girls to give it to me themselves, but there is way too many people that want to speak to me” Laughing, his hand slowly moved down towards my arse & he squeezes it. I smile at him lean up kiss him say “I am so in love with you” he bends down kisses me back says “I love you lots too, I don’t think I have ever felt this way with anybody June”
He went on stage about 9.45pm Olivia was with her Grandma she was standing on a chair so she could see, she said “where`s Mummy? I can`t see her” Isabel pointed me out to her & she was happy then, Olivia spotted Enrique & she waved said to Isabel “Look there`s daddy!” A few fans turned round & looked, they then realised about Olivia!
He was walking along the catwalk when he notices Trudie he smiles at her bends down to slap her hand she realises she has a birthday present for him & chucks it at him it hit his face he laughs then he notices Rebecca & Michelle, slap their hands & smiles as he walked a bit further notices Joanne, he bends down reaches out to her & slaps her hand too.
He got really emotional at one point tears falling down his face he had to dry them with his t-shirt, he was so happy he hadn’t been here for 12 years he went off stage came back wearing a Real Madrid shirt for a bit, it was awesome to watch him in his hometown & I know a lot of fans had come a long way to see him. I had tears in my eyes when he got upset I wanted to go & give me a huge hug but I couldn’t, Dave the sound engineer looked at me says “Don`t you start as well June, its bad enough he is crying” I laughed at Dave said “I know can`t help it if i am soppy Dave”
After the show, his friends & family all came round to have a party with him Including the Spanish Tennis Player Rafael Nadal, he was in Madrid with other tennis stars for the Madrid Open. He was speaking with Enrique for ages, I left them to talk.
I sat down with Olivia I hadn`t eaten a thing since Breakfast I was shattered, I had a cup of tea & Olivia fell asleep on Me, Fernando said “June, some people are asking for you outside” I got up laid Olivia down went to see who it was. When i got there it was the gang “hey, what`s up” Rebecca said “is there any chance you could get Jennifer to meet Enrique?” I looked sighed & said “ I don’t know if I can, he has all his family & friends in there, stay here i will see if I can poach him for 5 minutes” I walked towards his dressing room just as Enrique come out the door, “Hey” Hey to you to, will you come & meet someone Enrique?” He looks at me says “June, I am shattered & I want to spend some time with you” I know babe, but this girl has come all the way from Australia, please” he smiles says “come on then as you looked at me with those sad eyes” We walked towards them he said “Hi” he walks up to Jennifer gives her a kiss & hug as the others take photographs he said “Thank You so much for coming all this way, are you mad?” she laughed said “I wouldn’t have missed this concert for the world, I am so thankful to you June for asking him to come & see me” I smile said “I can`t believe you have come here, just to see him, but I know the lengths people go to just to meet him, & you seem so nice it was the least I can do for you” I looked at Trudie she knew what I meant . Trudie said “I didn’t hurt you did I when I chucked your birthday present at you” He laughed at her said “No, your ok, thank you I haven’t opened it yet I will when its my Birthday on Tuesday” he hugged the others had pictures taken with them & give them all a kiss said “Bye & thank you again especially you Jennifer, he leans over to her & hugs her real tight & says “Thank you so much”. He takes my hand & we walk back, the girls were excited you could hear them!
We walked back to the dressing by now it was almost 1.30am Olivia was fast asleep on the sofa Fernando said “June please have something to eat you look really pale& I don’t think I have seen you eat anything today!”I took the sandwich from Fernando I was starving, Enrique took a bite out it, I looked at him quite shocked said “what the” I slapped him as I did he had a fruit bowl beside him, he picks up a strawberry places it just inside my mouth & kisses me, we both got a bit of strawberry. We decided it was time to leave the venue, it was around 2am I was yawning my head off, Enrique was on a high, but that was the thing with him on a high for ages after a show
We arrived back to Enrique`s mum house I said “Thank You for putting us up Isabel” she smiles said “No problem, Now Enrique please take Olivia up to her bed” we said “Goodnight” to his mom kissed her on both cheeks & we went to bed, he put Olivia in her bed she just rolled over in her sleep, we covered her up, and we went to bed. I sat on the bed looking at him, he said “what`s up” I shake my head “Nothing babe, I am just so proud of you & I love you so much” he smiles looks at me says “I love you too, lets go to bed babe we have a long trip tomorrow & then get ready for the trial on Tuesday” we went to sleep naked holding one another close.

June a fab chapter and it certainly put a smile on my mug tonight of all nights!!!
It was a nice chapter!, bit of steam and no dramas in your perfect idyllic life just how it should be!! And I'm waffling now cause I've drunk too much and watching e all at the same time!!!!! I think I'm gonna burst!!!! Pmsl xx good work June
