A fun but silly story...The last & final chapter is on page 478..updated 16th August 2012
Now i must explain first when i went to this concert i wasn’t a huge fan my friend Sophie asked if i would go and i said yes i`ll go, never seen him live i wasn’t that bothered who he was, i just love live music. We did make sure that Enrique`s greatest hits cd was playing all the way to Cardiff just so i didn’t look stupid ,but i knew all his songs anyway ,just never brought any of his albums. The only song i hadn’t listened to in a long time was “ hero “ and that song reminded me of my ex and every time it was played i use to turn the radio off! Too many memories , too hurtful to listen too.
So, we drive to Cardiff to watch Enrique in concert, it took us about 2 hours to get there traffic was good on this particular day thank god, when we arrived around 4pm it was a lovely sunny day.
We found somewhere to park quite easy right next to the Cardiff arena. We sat in the car wondering
what to do as we were so early, i said “well , we could walk into town go get something to eat, go shopping just to kill sometime then come back a little later on”.
We got out the car, we decided to check which way we had to go in to the arena we looked up & noticed a huge crowd had developed at the back of the arena, so went to see what all the fuss was about.Enrique had just arrived and he was running late as usual and i just saw the top of his hat, all these girls were screaming out his name to which i just laughed and shook my head, all of a sudden i heard some one call my name “June, June “over here i looked over by the barrier & noticed a guy waving at me, it was one of the Roadie`s that i knew called Jamie i knew Jamie from another gig he was doing ages ago. Jamie was 6ft with short Blonde hair not bad looking if i were honest.
He called me over & asked how i was, said i was fine said hello to my friend Sophie, i said to” Jamie what brings you here” he replied “the company i work for are doing the Enrique tour”, “wow that`s good for ya” i replied. Jamie then said to me “Are you still a keen photographer”
“yes i am why?” Looking really puzzled.
“Well Enrique`s resident photographer has had to go back home to Miami due to ill health & the management & Enrique are losing their minds because they desperately need someone to take photos for tonight`s gig & the rest of his tour”. I smiled & said “what has that got to do with me” acting a bit dumb and smiling at Jamie “well ,was wondering if your up to doing it i would have to go and speak to his people first” i blushed and i said “yeah would love too, but it wont Happen Jamie they wouldn’t want someone like me ,miss ordinary doing that sort of thing, he said “lets try yeah?”
I gave him my number & he said he would ring & let me know either way.
We walked off and Sophie was dead excited i said “don’t get your hopes up it aint going to happen lets walk in to town to get something to eat” by this time i was starving it was like 4.30pm we hadn’t eaten since 9am & that was at breakfast!
we got half way in to town when my phone rings its Jamie i gasp at Sophie, shaking i answered it & he said “where are you? Walking in to town why? “
“Well you better get your sorry little arse back here they want you to do some test shots of Enrique`s sound check & if your any good you`ve got the gig!!” I squealed with delight & went “nah Jamie your winding me up” he replied “i am not June, Enrique said he wanted to see what you were
made of! So, seriously get your arse back here now, but you have to be here
like now” he screamed. “Ok, ok” i said “we`re coming back right now but i warn you, you better not be winding me up Jamie! “I turned to Sophie & said “we`ve gotta go back they want me now!” smiling
really silly I said to Jamie “we`re be there in about 10 minutes”
I screamed, jumped up & down, said “we going to have to run back mate” she laughed & said “what in these heels” i said “yeah take them off “laughing.we ran as fast as we could back to the arena as it was getting late it was about 5.00pm and the doors were due to open at 6.30pm but Enrique hadn’t even done his sound check.
We got back to the arena and there was even more people waiting to see Enrique and as we were walking towards the barrier i heard some bloke say to these girls “oh they reckon they going to just walk up & go straight in” i smiled at the little cocky bloke as The security guy lifted the barrier up, i said “we`re here to see Jamie”, the guy look over at Jamie he gave The nod and the security guard let us through. The bloke blushed with embarrassment, i looked at him and laughed he put his head down because he knew how stupid he sounded, to be honest i don’t think he even knew we heard him say
what he did.
Jamie said “here your both going to need these access all areas passes” as we were walking into the venue, we put them over our heads so that the hung from out necks, so that they could be scanned each time we went anywhere.
“Sophie, your going to have to sit this one out i`m afraid your have to wait in the lounge room as Enrique doesn’t want anyone else in the arena apart from the Band, sound engineers & his management and of course June” Jamie smiled at this because he knew that this could be the best thing that has happened to me. It did make me blush that Enrique only wanted me in there with the others, and i thought, yeah right as if Enrique would even give me a second glance.
Jamie took me through and i remember thinking this is too good to be true someone pinch me please, my heart was beating so fast i was shaking, the palms of my hands were sweaty and my mouth was dry, Dave one of the sound guys introduced me to everyone he said “you can go anywhere you like,
where would you prefer to take your pix?” I said sheepishly ,”can i go on the cat walk?”
Dave replied “yes you can”, smiling at me there was some small steps leading to end of the catwalk & i decided i was going to sit crossed legged at the end to take some pix just take a few then go nearer once i plucked up the courage to do so...Id never seen Enrique in concert let alone met him & i never really been nervous when i have met famous people before,but this time “oh boy”
Enrique popped out from the side of the stage saw me sitting on the end of the catwalk & waved said
in to the microphone “Hey June, you ok?”
The house lights were up so he could see me clearly He looked so handsome and so tall id forgotten how tall he was. He was wearing his trade mark cap jeans, white hoodie with a scarf to keep his throat warm. I thought my heart was going to stop beating, I could feel it miss a beat when i saw him standing there smiling. I was looking up feeling myself blushing a lot i waved back & smiled thinking my god he looks even more handsome in the flesh.
The band starting playing ring my bells just as Enrique started walking towards me i was laughing to myself because i was so nervous, i could feel myself going red as he walked up to me smiling and singing “ring my bells” He stopped singing, the band continued to play.
He came right up to me sat down in front of me crossed his legs and our knees were touching each other, he said “you ok”? too which i replied “well err no, if i am honest i am shitting myself,” too which
he burst out laughing “hold your hands out “i put my camera down & i held my hands out he said “turn your hands, so your palms are facing the floor”, i looked at him he said “wow, you really are shitting yourself “ he said laughing at me “ your hands are shaking like mad, just like mine”
he started to laugh as he made his hands shake. I laugh at him thinking you silly sod but he put me at ease really quickly.
Enrique then said “bet your heart is beating real fast? “To that i answered “yes, it is “ took his right hand & placed it on my heart without even thinking where his hand was, he looked me right in the eye for a good few seconds smiled and then moved his hand away slowly, he was still smiling at this point. I thought how embarrassing was that, i mean, I don’t even know the guy really & go and do that to him, stupid, stupid i kept saying to myself.
I also remember thinking how beautiful his eyes were while he looking at me for that split moment,the skin on is hands was so soft. He then took hold of my camera & came right next me put his to head to my head & took a photo,” smile” he said as he was taking it.
He then got up ,extended his arms ,pulled me up said “bet your not nervous now are ya”
kissed me on both cheeks gave me hug and said “go for it June , take as many pix as you like, the more the better lets see how good u really are!! Put it this way if these photo`s don’t come out very good Jamie is going to be in big trouble” laughing.
I took about 50 photos of him doing the sound check he was running late as usual but he needed
to make sure everything was good to go for tonight`s gig, he finished & i said “Thanks Enrique” he said “No probs June i`ll take a look at them now if that`s ok? Yeah of course”, I took the memory card out the camera and gave it to him he said “do you mind waiting in the lounge room with the band? Just while i take a look at these with Fernando and we won`t keep you in suspense too long i promise you” he said smiling & he gave me a wink.
Went into the lounge room & my friend Sophie was talking
to Laura Jane they both asked how it went i said “ok i think, their looking at them now” i said nervously. Laura said “he will love them June trust me, Sophie has showed me some other photo`s that you have taken & you are really good June, Don`t put yourself down”, “cant help it “”i replied “just don’t think i am that good if i am totally honest with you” i snapped and i apologise for snapping but she understood how much this meant to me.
I smiled at her but i wasn’t convinced kept thinking he wasn’t going to like them & that they would be wasting their time testing me when they could have got a professional photographer in for one night.
About half an hour went past and i have to say it was the longest half hour of my life i was walking up & down the room thinking to myself he won`t like them, bet they turned out blurred. Everyone kept telling me sit down don’t worry, but i couldn’t i was worrying big time.
Then the door swings open i stop dead in my tracks, Fernando says “June, come with me”...Gulp i looked at everyone in the room they wished me luck. Enrique`s dressing room was at the end of the corridor my heart was beating so fast, i was so sure that Fernando could hear it going boom,
boom boom, Fernando knocked on Enrique`s door walked in & said to me “come in, sit down next to Enrique” i smiled and said “thanks” as i did Enrique kissed me again on the cheek & said “well
well well.”...............
I was really blushing at this point my heart was pounding, my hands a little sweaty, my mouth was so dry & i honestly thought i was going to cry.........

Awww Kim your too kind thank you so much... all i know he was given a copy in Madrid monica said to him this is June's story he smiled said oh i know what it is!!!
I am hoping if anyone who reads the story and who is going to see him in concert maybe someone will get to meet him and ask him what he thinks! I am sad i cant come over to the states and see the show...so i may never really know what Enrique thinks :-(

I was kind of mad I didn't ask him 3 weeks ago in Miami! Thought of it after, I'm curious too. His face wouldn't lie! I had the chance to chat but u can only say so much on the spot!

Oh kim thanks i know i am soo curious too and as you said you only have a short time with him, its hard to remember all the questions you wanna ask lol... Thanks anyway hun lets just hope we find out soon or it might not be until his tours the uk again! But that could be atleast another year!!! :-( Hope not!

A Fun But Silly Story Part 2
Chapter 34
The next morning I`m awake at 6am, Enrique was already up, I tried sitting up felt a lot better so I swung my legs out of bed manage to have a shower then got dressed with out any hassle, & without any pain!
I was walking downstairs when Enrique was walking up “hey, didn’t know you were awake I`ve made you some breakfast” I look at him say “It`s ok I`ll have it in the kitchen now” he looked at me turned around & walked downstairs with me behind him. I walk in the kitchen May was in there “Morning June, how you feeling today?” I smile “Morning May feel loads better today I`ll take my breakfast outside” Enrique brings out the tray & we sit down in silence. I look out in to the bay; smile say “How was last night?” He smiles “yeah it was ok, Tony was really drunk by the time I left I don’t think I even said goodbye to him” I laughed poor Tony.
Maria had got Olivia ready for school she came out to Enrique & myself she sat down had some cereal she said to me “Mommy, would you do my hair please” I look at her “of course when you`ve had your cereal I will do it for you” She rushed her cereal gave me the brush & I said “how do you want your hair Olivia?” She looked round said “erm, a Platt please” I brushed her shoulder length Blonde hair & put her hair in to a Platt, we didn’t have a mirror with us so Enrique took a picture with his phone & showed her “Yes, Thanks” “good now go brush your teeth then daddy will take you to school” she came back a moment later I said “come here let me check you have cleaned your teeth properly” She showed me, she had done them very well “right then off you go sweetie, see you later on” she kisses & hugs me goodbye grabs Enrique hand & gets in the car he waves goodbye & they go off to school.
I sat outside for what seemed like ages I was thinking I had totally forgotten to Tell Enrique about the phone call from Andres, I thought when he come back I will tell him everything. Enrique was surprised I was sitting outside when he came back, May had made me another drink, Enrique walks over to me says “You ok?” I smile at him as he leans down & kisses me on the lips, “I feel really bad” I looked at him puzzled “why? What`s bothering you babe?” I didn’t give you a kiss earlier & I always give you a kiss in the morning” I smiled at him said “Old habits are easily broken babe” He said “No way, are you saying that I don’t care anymore & its a become a habit to kiss you?” I looked at him laugh said “No you silly thing come here?” I hug him as he buries his head in to my neck. It felt so good to have him close to me I wanted him badly, but we both knew it wasn’t going to happen for a few days!
I pulled away slightly & said “I have something to tell you” He gets the chair moves it closer to me says “what`s up June, you look a bit worried?” I look at him say “Last night when you walked in the snug & I had my phone in my hand I had just had a call from Andres!” he stands up turn`s away from me says “Oh June, why didn’t you tell me??” I looked at him I said “I didn’t get a chance then I just totally forgot all about it” He sits back down says “what did he want this time?” I looked at Enrique with tears in my eyes say “He told me to watch out for someone new hanging around!, he also knew I was in hospital” He looked angry now stood up got my phone from the table picked it & threw it on the ground “I am getting you another phone with a different number, he can never cause you anymore pain June” He hugs me so tight, I placed my arms around him whisper “I am sorry for not telling you but genuinely forgot babe ” he pulls away kisses me says “your fine babe, I understand how you can forget we had a lot going on last night & you were fed up cos you couldn’t got to the party”
Enrique`s cell phone rings its Tony “Hey bud how you feeling today?” “Rough” Enrique laughed Tony said “How`s June today?” Enrique looks at me “Yeah, she`s much better today thanks Tony” Tony sighs says “so, Tonight your staying with me is that right? & Linda is coming over to your house?” Enrique says “No, we changed it Linda is going to Jade`s house & Julio is coming over to you tonight & I will come over in the morning with June!” Tony said “Oh ok” Enrique was laughing at him “it`s just that June has to come to the wedding with me, because she will have to use the wheelchair tomorrow as she cant stand for long periods” I was smiling as Enrique got off the phone he said to me “I think Tony is really nervous about tomorrow, he has totally forgotten everything we planned” I went to get up & I wince Enrique rushes over to me as I sit down again “You ok?” I take a deep breath say “Just about, ouch that hurt” You need to do things more slowly babe” I said “Right lets try again shall we?” He helps me up & we walk back in to the house Ella was sitting in her high chair, she saw us both & started laughing I bent down & kissed her she grabs my hair & wouldn’t let go Enrique had to come & release me “I hate not being to pick the children up” Enrique smiles says “come to the snug with me” he takes my hand as we walk slowly he sits me down sits next to me & gently kisses me, my stomach flipped over, I pulled away slightly whisper “I have missed you” he smiles as he stares into my eyes, I could see how much he loved me just by the way he looks at me, his eyes they smile at you, what with the long lashes, he leans in to kiss me again but neither of us close our eyes the kiss was very tender.
Later that afternoon Jade pops round to see me while Enrique goes to pick Olivia up “How are you?” I smile say “ok, thanks Jade just bored, how was last night?” Jade smiled “fab, it was such good place to have a party!” I laughed said “well, that`s the same place that Enrique is going too next Saturday!” She laughed said “Are you going with him?” I shake my head “Noooo, that his job, he keeps me separate with things like this, its different when I `m doing the photographs for his shows as I`m not around him really, this is just a quick appearance & interviews then dinner with a competition winner!” Jade laughs ay me says “I bet he asks you to go?” I said “Nah, i doubt it very much, I`ll go out with you I should be ok next week with any luck” Jade laughed said “Yeah, we should go out, have a girls night out!”
Jade then said to me “Linda asked me last night to be her maid of honour” I smile “Well, I hope you said yes!” She laughs “I didn`t at first June” I looked at her said “but why? you are the best person to do it after me Jade!” she hugs me says “Yeah, I know i feel weird doing that when you should be doing it! Anyway, changing the subject totally Kelly is really nice Carlos`s other half” I nod said “Yeah, they both popped round here yesterday, I think she will be good for Carlos keep him in line” Enrique comes back with Olivia she runs over to me gives me a huge hug says “Hi” to Jade runs in the kitchen to see May & Maria.
Enrique smiles kisses Jade on each cheek, he kisses me on the lips says to me”Have you got a dress to wear tomorrow for the wedding”? I look at Enrique “Yes I have loads of dresses I can wear Hun” Jade had to go she had to get her gear ready for the wedding tomorrow, she let herself out I said to Enrique “Lets go upstairs...”Really are you alright to you know” Acting all sheepishly “Enrique!” I slapped him “if you had let me finish I was about to say go upstairs to see what dress was best for tomorrow!” He was really laughing now we walk upstairs real slow, I sit on the bed say to Enrique “can you find my Red dress?” he looks at me says “our wedding Red dress?” Yeah” He went to get it says “you want that one” I shake my head “No” he looks puzzled says “I don’t get it” I laughed at him said “In there is a cream one just like that, I got you to get the Red one out so you could see what you were looking for Duh!” He laughs says “all this Mickey taking June I am saving them all up for when your better” I scoff at him saying “yeah, Right, but your the one who thought we were coming upstairs to do something else, I know I look ok & but I`m not really ready for that!”
Later that night we sit down for pizza, the works as Olivia loves pizza & plus it was Friday night & we always treated Olivia to what she wanted, tomorrow was Linda & Tony wedding, I was starting to feel a lot better I said to Enrique “I won`t take the wheel chair tomorrow, I will be ok!” He shoots me a dirty look says “You wanna bet?” I laughed at him but he wasn’t laughing with me “Look I feel loads better, but as you are giving me “The Look” I will take it in case we need it alright?” He take`s my hand says “Yeah, see that`s better” Laughing at me. Olivia rolls her eyes at us we both laugh at her. Olivia goes up to be at 10pm, she was being a flower girl tomorrow & she was dead excited, but I wanted to make sure she slept well!
Enrique came back down after making sure Olivia was tucked up in bed & that Ella, Amber & Cruz were asleep, he walks by the snug, see me in there walks in closes the door walks up to me sits beside me, places his arm around my shoulders, pulls me towards me & kisses me so soft, My whole body shivers. I place my head against his manly shoulders & stroke his left leg, his inner thigh & he stops me, by placing his hand upon mine we both look at each other he kisses my cheek whispers “God, I want you so badly” I kiss him back said “I do too but I don’t think its a good idea right now do you?” He shakes his head says “The doctor told me we should wait for at least 3 days” I smile say “well you’re be ok until tomorrow night won`t you?” He laughed at me said “You do realise we are staying in the hotel tomorrow night don’t you the same one the wedding is at?” I laughed at him said “Let’s go to bed, we have a very long day tomorrow as we have to get up so early!” Enrique took my hand & we walked upstairs to bed Enrique closes the door, & helps me undress then he climbs into bed with me & we fall asleep cuddling one another

aww so sweet....u must be reallly missing each other....cant wait to read about the wedding....r u sure ull be fine widout a wheelchair...ugh there are soooo many questions hope they get answered in the second chapter.....gr8 chapter as always
