A fun but silly story...The last & final chapter is on page 478..updated 16th August 2012
Now i must explain first when i went to this concert i wasn’t a huge fan my friend Sophie asked if i would go and i said yes i`ll go, never seen him live i wasn’t that bothered who he was, i just love live music. We did make sure that Enrique`s greatest hits cd was playing all the way to Cardiff just so i didn’t look stupid ,but i knew all his songs anyway ,just never brought any of his albums. The only song i hadn’t listened to in a long time was “ hero “ and that song reminded me of my ex and every time it was played i use to turn the radio off! Too many memories , too hurtful to listen too.
So, we drive to Cardiff to watch Enrique in concert, it took us about 2 hours to get there traffic was good on this particular day thank god, when we arrived around 4pm it was a lovely sunny day.
We found somewhere to park quite easy right next to the Cardiff arena. We sat in the car wondering
what to do as we were so early, i said “well , we could walk into town go get something to eat, go shopping just to kill sometime then come back a little later on”.
We got out the car, we decided to check which way we had to go in to the arena we looked up & noticed a huge crowd had developed at the back of the arena, so went to see what all the fuss was about.Enrique had just arrived and he was running late as usual and i just saw the top of his hat, all these girls were screaming out his name to which i just laughed and shook my head, all of a sudden i heard some one call my name “June, June “over here i looked over by the barrier & noticed a guy waving at me, it was one of the Roadie`s that i knew called Jamie i knew Jamie from another gig he was doing ages ago. Jamie was 6ft with short Blonde hair not bad looking if i were honest.
He called me over & asked how i was, said i was fine said hello to my friend Sophie, i said to” Jamie what brings you here” he replied “the company i work for are doing the Enrique tour”, “wow that`s good for ya” i replied. Jamie then said to me “Are you still a keen photographer”
“yes i am why?” Looking really puzzled.
“Well Enrique`s resident photographer has had to go back home to Miami due to ill health & the management & Enrique are losing their minds because they desperately need someone to take photos for tonight`s gig & the rest of his tour”. I smiled & said “what has that got to do with me” acting a bit dumb and smiling at Jamie “well ,was wondering if your up to doing it i would have to go and speak to his people first” i blushed and i said “yeah would love too, but it wont Happen Jamie they wouldn’t want someone like me ,miss ordinary doing that sort of thing, he said “lets try yeah?”
I gave him my number & he said he would ring & let me know either way.
We walked off and Sophie was dead excited i said “don’t get your hopes up it aint going to happen lets walk in to town to get something to eat” by this time i was starving it was like 4.30pm we hadn’t eaten since 9am & that was at breakfast!
we got half way in to town when my phone rings its Jamie i gasp at Sophie, shaking i answered it & he said “where are you? Walking in to town why? “
“Well you better get your sorry little arse back here they want you to do some test shots of Enrique`s sound check & if your any good you`ve got the gig!!” I squealed with delight & went “nah Jamie your winding me up” he replied “i am not June, Enrique said he wanted to see what you were
made of! So, seriously get your arse back here now, but you have to be here
like now” he screamed. “Ok, ok” i said “we`re coming back right now but i warn you, you better not be winding me up Jamie! “I turned to Sophie & said “we`ve gotta go back they want me now!” smiling
really silly I said to Jamie “we`re be there in about 10 minutes”
I screamed, jumped up & down, said “we going to have to run back mate” she laughed & said “what in these heels” i said “yeah take them off “laughing.we ran as fast as we could back to the arena as it was getting late it was about 5.00pm and the doors were due to open at 6.30pm but Enrique hadn’t even done his sound check.
We got back to the arena and there was even more people waiting to see Enrique and as we were walking towards the barrier i heard some bloke say to these girls “oh they reckon they going to just walk up & go straight in” i smiled at the little cocky bloke as The security guy lifted the barrier up, i said “we`re here to see Jamie”, the guy look over at Jamie he gave The nod and the security guard let us through. The bloke blushed with embarrassment, i looked at him and laughed he put his head down because he knew how stupid he sounded, to be honest i don’t think he even knew we heard him say
what he did.
Jamie said “here your both going to need these access all areas passes” as we were walking into the venue, we put them over our heads so that the hung from out necks, so that they could be scanned each time we went anywhere.
“Sophie, your going to have to sit this one out i`m afraid your have to wait in the lounge room as Enrique doesn’t want anyone else in the arena apart from the Band, sound engineers & his management and of course June” Jamie smiled at this because he knew that this could be the best thing that has happened to me. It did make me blush that Enrique only wanted me in there with the others, and i thought, yeah right as if Enrique would even give me a second glance.
Jamie took me through and i remember thinking this is too good to be true someone pinch me please, my heart was beating so fast i was shaking, the palms of my hands were sweaty and my mouth was dry, Dave one of the sound guys introduced me to everyone he said “you can go anywhere you like,
where would you prefer to take your pix?” I said sheepishly ,”can i go on the cat walk?”
Dave replied “yes you can”, smiling at me there was some small steps leading to end of the catwalk & i decided i was going to sit crossed legged at the end to take some pix just take a few then go nearer once i plucked up the courage to do so...Id never seen Enrique in concert let alone met him & i never really been nervous when i have met famous people before,but this time “oh boy”
Enrique popped out from the side of the stage saw me sitting on the end of the catwalk & waved said
in to the microphone “Hey June, you ok?”
The house lights were up so he could see me clearly He looked so handsome and so tall id forgotten how tall he was. He was wearing his trade mark cap jeans, white hoodie with a scarf to keep his throat warm. I thought my heart was going to stop beating, I could feel it miss a beat when i saw him standing there smiling. I was looking up feeling myself blushing a lot i waved back & smiled thinking my god he looks even more handsome in the flesh.
The band starting playing ring my bells just as Enrique started walking towards me i was laughing to myself because i was so nervous, i could feel myself going red as he walked up to me smiling and singing “ring my bells” He stopped singing, the band continued to play.
He came right up to me sat down in front of me crossed his legs and our knees were touching each other, he said “you ok”? too which i replied “well err no, if i am honest i am shitting myself,” too which
he burst out laughing “hold your hands out “i put my camera down & i held my hands out he said “turn your hands, so your palms are facing the floor”, i looked at him he said “wow, you really are shitting yourself “ he said laughing at me “ your hands are shaking like mad, just like mine”
he started to laugh as he made his hands shake. I laugh at him thinking you silly sod but he put me at ease really quickly.
Enrique then said “bet your heart is beating real fast? “To that i answered “yes, it is “ took his right hand & placed it on my heart without even thinking where his hand was, he looked me right in the eye for a good few seconds smiled and then moved his hand away slowly, he was still smiling at this point. I thought how embarrassing was that, i mean, I don’t even know the guy really & go and do that to him, stupid, stupid i kept saying to myself.
I also remember thinking how beautiful his eyes were while he looking at me for that split moment,the skin on is hands was so soft. He then took hold of my camera & came right next me put his to head to my head & took a photo,” smile” he said as he was taking it.
He then got up ,extended his arms ,pulled me up said “bet your not nervous now are ya”
kissed me on both cheeks gave me hug and said “go for it June , take as many pix as you like, the more the better lets see how good u really are!! Put it this way if these photo`s don’t come out very good Jamie is going to be in big trouble” laughing.
I took about 50 photos of him doing the sound check he was running late as usual but he needed
to make sure everything was good to go for tonight`s gig, he finished & i said “Thanks Enrique” he said “No probs June i`ll take a look at them now if that`s ok? Yeah of course”, I took the memory card out the camera and gave it to him he said “do you mind waiting in the lounge room with the band? Just while i take a look at these with Fernando and we won`t keep you in suspense too long i promise you” he said smiling & he gave me a wink.
Went into the lounge room & my friend Sophie was talking
to Laura Jane they both asked how it went i said “ok i think, their looking at them now” i said nervously. Laura said “he will love them June trust me, Sophie has showed me some other photo`s that you have taken & you are really good June, Don`t put yourself down”, “cant help it “”i replied “just don’t think i am that good if i am totally honest with you” i snapped and i apologise for snapping but she understood how much this meant to me.
I smiled at her but i wasn’t convinced kept thinking he wasn’t going to like them & that they would be wasting their time testing me when they could have got a professional photographer in for one night.
About half an hour went past and i have to say it was the longest half hour of my life i was walking up & down the room thinking to myself he won`t like them, bet they turned out blurred. Everyone kept telling me sit down don’t worry, but i couldn’t i was worrying big time.
Then the door swings open i stop dead in my tracks, Fernando says “June, come with me”...Gulp i looked at everyone in the room they wished me luck. Enrique`s dressing room was at the end of the corridor my heart was beating so fast, i was so sure that Fernando could hear it going boom,
boom boom, Fernando knocked on Enrique`s door walked in & said to me “come in, sit down next to Enrique” i smiled and said “thanks” as i did Enrique kissed me again on the cheek & said “well
well well.”...............
I was really blushing at this point my heart was pounding, my hands a little sweaty, my mouth was so dry & i honestly thought i was going to cry.........

A Fun But Silly Story Part 2
Chapter 18
Back at the picnic Enrique leans towards to me kisses me says “You know, I have missed you loads, I just hope we can sort these Baby Blues out June” I smile at him I know how much he cares for me, he loves me so, so much. I lean towards him & return the kiss he lightly pushes me back against the blanket, my hands run over his back towards his arse, he leans to one side slowly stroking my arm then his hand goes up inside my top & he caresses my breasts. He looks at me smiles leans down & we kiss once again & I stop kissing him look at him “I love you Enrique more now than ever” He smiles says “I know you do June, & that`s why we will always be together, because our love has grown stronger & stronger, we have the most amazing family Ella, Olivia, Amber & my man Cruz!” I laughed at him, “its a good job we have another male in the family” I sit up as I do he holds me close I say to him “ I know this going to sound Morbid, but if anything ever happened to me I would want you find someone else, not straight away but maybe a year down the line” He looks at me says “Please don’t talk like that” I kiss him say “That is why i don’t think you should have a vasectomy, because if you do meet someone you might want children with that partner” He laughs “Hey your going nowhere, but that is a lovely thing to say June, your always so lovely & that`s what I love about you, you care about everybody including the people that have done you wrong. You know If that`s what you wish then my wish is the same I wouldn’t want you to be alone too long if anything happens to me!”
We kiss once more & he says “I think we better go back because of the children i reckon Olivia will be wondering where we are!” He stands up take my hand & helps me up we pack all the stuff up & he takes my hand as we walk back to the car.
We arrive home Olivia & Fernando were still looking at some photographs she smiles as we walk in the house, Lucas & Alfie barking like mad they wanted to be made a fuss off, Enrique takes the picnic basket in to May who is in the kitchen cooking dinner she says to him “How did it go?” I think it did the trick it certainly put a smile on her face” She smiles says “I`m glad we just need to keep an eye on her” He smiles walks towards Olivia “hey what photographs you looking at?” “Old ones Daddy she flicks through the pages & she stops & says “That man there” she pointed to a picture of Enrique & Andres “I know him, he dropped me off that day I came here!” Enrique looked on in horror “How do you know Andres Olivia?” she shrugged her shoulders says “Jane knows him!” Fernando & Enrique look at one another give each other that knowing look & carry on looking at the photographs, she finds our wedding album. As Olivia is going through the album she says “mummy & daddy look beautiful” Enrique smiles grabs Fernando moves away from Olivia, “we need to find out Fernando how Jane knows Andres, & I will tell June when I know more, she cant know about this not yet!”
I headed upstairs to have a shower & I had finished came out the bathroom when Enrique walks in says “Hey” I smile at him I walk towards him kiss him we put our arms around each other as I do my towel falls to the floor, he looks at my naked body smiles, he picks me up takes me to the bed & he makes love to me.
Around 4pm my cell phone starts ringing I lean over to answer it “Hello” The guy on the other end said “Can I please speak to June Iglesias?” I reply to “Who`s asking?” “Its detective Cooper here” “I am June what can I do for you?” just wanted to inform you that we have now completed our investigation in to your car accident, & with all the evidence we are now going to be charging 2 people with failing to report an accident with the intent to injure or kill other persons” I was sitting up leaning against Enrique`s naked chest, Enrique was stroking my leg “Oh my god” He continued to say “we will be in touch with all the details as this will be going to court, the defendants have not made bail & will be held in custody until the court date” I smile say “well, thank you very much for letting me know & I will no doubt speak to you at a later date” Yes, you will” We hung up i turned to Enrique as i was holding the sheet from the bed close to my chest, I smiled said “they have charged 2 people with my accident, & they haven’t made bail their being held in custody until the trial date, Oh my god Enrique” I kissed him he pulls away says “well that deserves a little treat don’t you think?” He pulls the sheet back from the bed pulls me on top of him & I lean down to kiss him, as he reaches up to caress my breasts & we slowly make love for the 3rd time that afternoon!
Around 5.30pm I hear the all three babies crying I grab a t-shirt & shorts & Enrique I go downstairs to help out, Enrique puts his hands to his ears saying “My god this is so loud” Laughing I slapped him one on the leg & said “well, why don’t you help then?” Eventually the noise died down only Amber was crying now Maria couldn’t settle her so I took Amber off her & took her out into the garden by the pool I was talking to her then Enrique came out started singing to her & she quietened down.
Enrique & I had dinner outside by the pool Now the I was no longer pregnant I had a glass of wine or Two, Enrique had a beer, we didn’t say much, but we didn’t always need to, holding hands smiling at each other was all the words we needed. We watched the soccer game on TV, when his cell phone rang he answered it “Hey” I couldn’t hear what they were saying Enrique said “Look I don’t know how the hell you can ask me to do that Anna. I mean between the 3 of you, you almost killed June & you could`ve left Ella without a mother! You the one that got involved with them 2, you knew exactly what you were doing I asked you to stop calling me, if you keep doing this I will have you for harassment, simple as, so delete my number please Anna, & leave Miami” He sighs as he places his cell phone down.
I looked at him in disbelief as he got off the phone “please tell me your joking” he looked at me said “she wants me to ask you to drop the charges against Andres & Geordie” I scoffed at him “no way Enrique I am not doing that!” Enrique looks right at me says “I know your not I want them 2 put away for what they have done to you babe” He cuddles me says “I hope Anna gets the message now, but first thing tomorrow morning I am ringing my lawyer”
Later that night we had gone to bed, made love but afterwards Enrique fell asleep & I couldn’t sleep I got up went downstairs made myself a drink sat down & watched some TV, I fell asleep on the sofa & I had a bad dream someone had broken in to the house the dogs were barking like mad, they wanted me! I called out to Enrique these guys who were masked were laughing saying “he cant come right now as he is asleep I called again but this time louder ENRIQUE the next thing someone is calling my name & shaking me to wake up I open my eyes its Enrique I gasp at him as he says “are you ok June?” I lie there thinking my god that dream was awful. He made me a sweet Tea, sat beside me says “I heard you scream out my name it startled me I woke, looked beside me you weren’t there, heard it again & I came running down here, it took me ages to wake you Hun” I flung my arms around him saying “It was just a really bad dream babe, haven`t any bad dreams for a while, maybe its the court thing & Anna calling you tonight, its playing on my mind”
We laid down on the sofa in each others arms & we fell asleep there until the morning, Enrique woke me as he moved “stay there, I`ll make us breakfast “ I sat up walked in to the kitchen rubbing my eyes “Hey sexy” put my arms around him kiss him on the back of the neck, he turns round kisses me on the lips, he whispers in my ear “I would make love to you right here right now, but May has just walked in” I turn round say “Morning May” she smiles says “Morning, would you like me to go out & come back in an hour?” I laugh at her “an hour??? More like 10 minutes” he slaps my backside which hurt as i only hand on a pair of panties & T-shirt! “No May your ok” Enrique replies.
Later on that day Enrique takes the dogs for a walk, he comes back about an hour later with some post, “here`s a letter from home June” I looked at the hand writing it was from Sophie “wow its from Sophie she must be feeling better, I wonder what she wants?” Enrique replied with a smart arse comment “well, If you open it June your find out” I threw an apple at him; it just missed him damn i thought to myself.
I started reading the letter it went “Dear June, I hope this day finds you well? I have some news for you as of the end of April I will be emigrating to Australia; I am now well, back to my normal self, I got a job out there for 2 years which the company will sponsor me! I couldn’t find the words to tell you everything in person or on the phone, I found it was easier to write down everything I want to say to you.
I am sorry for taking Ella, however I am not sorry for being in love with Enrique, I was/am jealous I mean I ask YOU to come to the concert & it was YOU that met him first, YOU that got the job, YOU that danced with Enrique on stage, YOU were the one that went out with him & the rest is history. I am jealous of you June & the only reason i got with Carlos was so that I could be near Enrique, almost everyday, it was so hard not being able to tell him everything, but when Carlos got beaten up & was able to hug Enrique lots as he felt sorry for me, but me taking Ella I got all the attention from him once again.
Enrique came over to me as i had tears rolling down my face as i was reading her letter, I was shocked by her confession, she didn’t give a shit about me, she wasn’t a friend she was just using me! I put the letter down & screwed it up Enrique said “what`s up” I threw him the letter he tried to flatten it out & began reading it, a few times i heard him say “Oh what, no way!” He said to me “have you read the end June “No, what does it say?” he sighed said “it says please don’t contact me again I never wanted your friendship & i never want to be in contact with you & Enrique ever again, please tell Carlos I am sorry for using & hurting him, lots of love Sophie x”
Enrique said “my god June, she is freakin mad still!” I looked at him said “I don’t care I don’t want to hear from her again either, but I`ll bet you any money she will be in contact, I just feel it babe” he walks over to me hugs me kisses says “stuff her, I don’t think i`ll tell Carlos about it” Just as Carlos walks in the kitchen & says “Don`t Tell Carlos what???”

It never rains but it pours, right, June? Poor Carlos, he's going to be hurt a lot again. And he's such a good soul. I agree with you, Sophie won't let go that easily, you / we will hear from her no doubt!
I absolutely love those romantic scenes the two of you have. But I am sorry to say so, the first weeks after my kids were born there was no love-making, not even if I had been with Enrique, I am telling you. And you had 3 times a day on the second day after giving birth to twins? OMG! pmsl
Thanks for another great and rather explicit chapter, June. And the pic goes well with my imagination right now. LOL
