A fun but silly story...The last & final chapter is on page 478..updated 16th August 2012
Now i must explain first when i went to this concert i wasn’t a huge fan my friend Sophie asked if i would go and i said yes i`ll go, never seen him live i wasn’t that bothered who he was, i just love live music. We did make sure that Enrique`s greatest hits cd was playing all the way to Cardiff just so i didn’t look stupid ,but i knew all his songs anyway ,just never brought any of his albums. The only song i hadn’t listened to in a long time was “ hero “ and that song reminded me of my ex and every time it was played i use to turn the radio off! Too many memories , too hurtful to listen too.
So, we drive to Cardiff to watch Enrique in concert, it took us about 2 hours to get there traffic was good on this particular day thank god, when we arrived around 4pm it was a lovely sunny day.
We found somewhere to park quite easy right next to the Cardiff arena. We sat in the car wondering
what to do as we were so early, i said “well , we could walk into town go get something to eat, go shopping just to kill sometime then come back a little later on”.
We got out the car, we decided to check which way we had to go in to the arena we looked up & noticed a huge crowd had developed at the back of the arena, so went to see what all the fuss was about.Enrique had just arrived and he was running late as usual and i just saw the top of his hat, all these girls were screaming out his name to which i just laughed and shook my head, all of a sudden i heard some one call my name “June, June “over here i looked over by the barrier & noticed a guy waving at me, it was one of the Roadie`s that i knew called Jamie i knew Jamie from another gig he was doing ages ago. Jamie was 6ft with short Blonde hair not bad looking if i were honest.
He called me over & asked how i was, said i was fine said hello to my friend Sophie, i said to” Jamie what brings you here” he replied “the company i work for are doing the Enrique tour”, “wow that`s good for ya” i replied. Jamie then said to me “Are you still a keen photographer”
“yes i am why?” Looking really puzzled.
“Well Enrique`s resident photographer has had to go back home to Miami due to ill health & the management & Enrique are losing their minds because they desperately need someone to take photos for tonight`s gig & the rest of his tour”. I smiled & said “what has that got to do with me” acting a bit dumb and smiling at Jamie “well ,was wondering if your up to doing it i would have to go and speak to his people first” i blushed and i said “yeah would love too, but it wont Happen Jamie they wouldn’t want someone like me ,miss ordinary doing that sort of thing, he said “lets try yeah?”
I gave him my number & he said he would ring & let me know either way.
We walked off and Sophie was dead excited i said “don’t get your hopes up it aint going to happen lets walk in to town to get something to eat” by this time i was starving it was like 4.30pm we hadn’t eaten since 9am & that was at breakfast!
we got half way in to town when my phone rings its Jamie i gasp at Sophie, shaking i answered it & he said “where are you? Walking in to town why? “
“Well you better get your sorry little arse back here they want you to do some test shots of Enrique`s sound check & if your any good you`ve got the gig!!” I squealed with delight & went “nah Jamie your winding me up” he replied “i am not June, Enrique said he wanted to see what you were
made of! So, seriously get your arse back here now, but you have to be here
like now” he screamed. “Ok, ok” i said “we`re coming back right now but i warn you, you better not be winding me up Jamie! “I turned to Sophie & said “we`ve gotta go back they want me now!” smiling
really silly I said to Jamie “we`re be there in about 10 minutes”
I screamed, jumped up & down, said “we going to have to run back mate” she laughed & said “what in these heels” i said “yeah take them off “laughing.we ran as fast as we could back to the arena as it was getting late it was about 5.00pm and the doors were due to open at 6.30pm but Enrique hadn’t even done his sound check.
We got back to the arena and there was even more people waiting to see Enrique and as we were walking towards the barrier i heard some bloke say to these girls “oh they reckon they going to just walk up & go straight in” i smiled at the little cocky bloke as The security guy lifted the barrier up, i said “we`re here to see Jamie”, the guy look over at Jamie he gave The nod and the security guard let us through. The bloke blushed with embarrassment, i looked at him and laughed he put his head down because he knew how stupid he sounded, to be honest i don’t think he even knew we heard him say
what he did.
Jamie said “here your both going to need these access all areas passes” as we were walking into the venue, we put them over our heads so that the hung from out necks, so that they could be scanned each time we went anywhere.
“Sophie, your going to have to sit this one out i`m afraid your have to wait in the lounge room as Enrique doesn’t want anyone else in the arena apart from the Band, sound engineers & his management and of course June” Jamie smiled at this because he knew that this could be the best thing that has happened to me. It did make me blush that Enrique only wanted me in there with the others, and i thought, yeah right as if Enrique would even give me a second glance.
Jamie took me through and i remember thinking this is too good to be true someone pinch me please, my heart was beating so fast i was shaking, the palms of my hands were sweaty and my mouth was dry, Dave one of the sound guys introduced me to everyone he said “you can go anywhere you like,
where would you prefer to take your pix?” I said sheepishly ,”can i go on the cat walk?”
Dave replied “yes you can”, smiling at me there was some small steps leading to end of the catwalk & i decided i was going to sit crossed legged at the end to take some pix just take a few then go nearer once i plucked up the courage to do so...Id never seen Enrique in concert let alone met him & i never really been nervous when i have met famous people before,but this time “oh boy”
Enrique popped out from the side of the stage saw me sitting on the end of the catwalk & waved said
in to the microphone “Hey June, you ok?”
The house lights were up so he could see me clearly He looked so handsome and so tall id forgotten how tall he was. He was wearing his trade mark cap jeans, white hoodie with a scarf to keep his throat warm. I thought my heart was going to stop beating, I could feel it miss a beat when i saw him standing there smiling. I was looking up feeling myself blushing a lot i waved back & smiled thinking my god he looks even more handsome in the flesh.
The band starting playing ring my bells just as Enrique started walking towards me i was laughing to myself because i was so nervous, i could feel myself going red as he walked up to me smiling and singing “ring my bells” He stopped singing, the band continued to play.
He came right up to me sat down in front of me crossed his legs and our knees were touching each other, he said “you ok”? too which i replied “well err no, if i am honest i am shitting myself,” too which
he burst out laughing “hold your hands out “i put my camera down & i held my hands out he said “turn your hands, so your palms are facing the floor”, i looked at him he said “wow, you really are shitting yourself “ he said laughing at me “ your hands are shaking like mad, just like mine”
he started to laugh as he made his hands shake. I laugh at him thinking you silly sod but he put me at ease really quickly.
Enrique then said “bet your heart is beating real fast? “To that i answered “yes, it is “ took his right hand & placed it on my heart without even thinking where his hand was, he looked me right in the eye for a good few seconds smiled and then moved his hand away slowly, he was still smiling at this point. I thought how embarrassing was that, i mean, I don’t even know the guy really & go and do that to him, stupid, stupid i kept saying to myself.
I also remember thinking how beautiful his eyes were while he looking at me for that split moment,the skin on is hands was so soft. He then took hold of my camera & came right next me put his to head to my head & took a photo,” smile” he said as he was taking it.
He then got up ,extended his arms ,pulled me up said “bet your not nervous now are ya”
kissed me on both cheeks gave me hug and said “go for it June , take as many pix as you like, the more the better lets see how good u really are!! Put it this way if these photo`s don’t come out very good Jamie is going to be in big trouble” laughing.
I took about 50 photos of him doing the sound check he was running late as usual but he needed
to make sure everything was good to go for tonight`s gig, he finished & i said “Thanks Enrique” he said “No probs June i`ll take a look at them now if that`s ok? Yeah of course”, I took the memory card out the camera and gave it to him he said “do you mind waiting in the lounge room with the band? Just while i take a look at these with Fernando and we won`t keep you in suspense too long i promise you” he said smiling & he gave me a wink.
Went into the lounge room & my friend Sophie was talking
to Laura Jane they both asked how it went i said “ok i think, their looking at them now” i said nervously. Laura said “he will love them June trust me, Sophie has showed me some other photo`s that you have taken & you are really good June, Don`t put yourself down”, “cant help it “”i replied “just don’t think i am that good if i am totally honest with you” i snapped and i apologise for snapping but she understood how much this meant to me.
I smiled at her but i wasn’t convinced kept thinking he wasn’t going to like them & that they would be wasting their time testing me when they could have got a professional photographer in for one night.
About half an hour went past and i have to say it was the longest half hour of my life i was walking up & down the room thinking to myself he won`t like them, bet they turned out blurred. Everyone kept telling me sit down don’t worry, but i couldn’t i was worrying big time.
Then the door swings open i stop dead in my tracks, Fernando says “June, come with me”...Gulp i looked at everyone in the room they wished me luck. Enrique`s dressing room was at the end of the corridor my heart was beating so fast, i was so sure that Fernando could hear it going boom,
boom boom, Fernando knocked on Enrique`s door walked in & said to me “come in, sit down next to Enrique” i smiled and said “thanks” as i did Enrique kissed me again on the cheek & said “well
well well.”...............
I was really blushing at this point my heart was pounding, my hands a little sweaty, my mouth was so dry & i honestly thought i was going to cry.........

Chapter 32
Enrique sat down beside my bed with his head leaning on his left arm thinking about the what if`s but he knew he had to keep this away from me for now because if he didn’t my recovery will be a lot slower. Olivia wakes up turns looks at Enrique says “I`m thirsty daddy” He smiles at her lifts Olivia off the bed takes her to get a drink “Daddy?” Enrique smiles down at her says “Yes, Olivia!” “Mummy is going to be ok isn’t she?” he picks Olivia up says “she will be fine, I promise you” Olivia smiles at him takes his hand & they walk off together.
They get a drink each & they walk back to my room where I am awake “Hey, how long you been awake?” I look at him say “Only just” Enrique leans towards me kisses me on the mouth. Enrique says “I am going to take this one back home & I`ll come straight back” I looked at him said “Look it`s 6pm, you stay at home with everybody I will be fine here tonight, just come back tomorrow & hopefully I will be ok, would you be able to bring me some clothes & toiletries please?” Enrique just stares at me says “Are you sure June? Honestly?” I nod my head saying “you look shattered babe go home have some rest I`ll see you tomorrow” Olivia hugs & kisses me then Enrique does the same saying “Miss you already babe” I smile & watch them leave the room, & I lay back & go to sleep.
Enrique drives home Fernando & Carlos are there too, they looked at each other said “what you doing here?” Enrique gets Olivia out the car says “June, said to come back as I look so tired” Olivia runs off to see Maria & May Fernando says “something bothering you?” Enrique shakes his head “No, why do you ask?” Fernando slaps him on the back says “knowing you for 16 or more years you get an instinct” Enrique sighs “well, now you ask yes, I had to do swab test on Olivia & June while June was asleep!” Carlos said “my god, why?” Enrique explains to them both what Murray had said they both looked at each other said “No, way that little girl is the spitting image of June” Enrique said “I know that, you guys know that, but we have to be sure, Murray is getting the test done tonight so this time tomorrow we should all know the truth & I am telling you now if the results come back that Olivia isn’t June`s I will be suing that adoption agency!” Fernando put his fingers through his hair said “Oh my God” Enrique said “keep everything crossed because I will have to be the one that tells June & this will send her into a frenzy I`m telling you”
That Night about 9pm Enrique looked in on the children, Olivia was still awake but Enrique insisted she go & play in her room, & that she wasn`t going to bed too late as she was going to her new school tomorrow, she had pack her little Rucksack. May was sorting out her Lunch ready for the morning & Enrique was going to drop her off, this could create bedlam in the school grounds, but he knew he had no choice.
I was watching some television when the nurse came into me to check I was ok, “how you feeling now?” I look at her say “yeah, I`m fine thank you, just want to be home with my family” she said “well, as long as your ok the doctor will let you out tomorrow, but you will still need to rest & not pick the children up for a bit” I smile at her “I know, bit difficult in our house I have 3 children all under One” She looked “nooo” I laugh at her but it hurts “Yes, Ella will be one in September & Amber & Cruz were only born in April, twins” then she said “& you have Olivia as well” I nod “well, With a fella that is a good looking as yours, I am not surprised you have all those children” we both Laughed but again it hurt!
11pm I was just bored now when the door opened to my room & Enrique popped his head around the door smiling he says “Hey my darling” I smile at him “what are you doing here?” He sits on the bed says “I cant stay in that house knowing your not there June, its not quiet but boy I don’t know what to do with myself” He kisses me on the lips I stroke his face smile say whilst moving the sheets “stay here tonight then babe, keep me company” he took his trainers off & his hat & hoody climbed in to bed with me we lay there all night cuddling one another, watching some T.V
7am the next day the nurse walks in she jumps when she see`s Enrique in the bed with me, I woke up laughed “sorry my fault I asked him too stay” She laughs says “Its no trouble” she walks closer says in a whisper “I don’t blame you, he`s hot” I replied with “I know!” Enrique stirs looks at me says “what`s the time babe?”I looked said “Just gone 7, your ok you don’t need to go & get Olivia until 8” The nurse said “I`ll get you both some tea & breakfast” Enrique leaned over to me gives me the biggest kiss I have been given said “let`s hope you come out today babe, i need you at home with me”
The nurse comes back with some tea & toast we have that & then Enrique says “right babe, gotta dash, I`ll be back later” kisses me several times then leaves, he manages to get home by 8.15 Olivia was sitting in the kitchen waiting for me her arms folded her look was I am not impressed! “At last Daddy I have to go to school today you know!” He laughs said “I know I know I spent the night at the hospital keeping your Mommy Company, if you’re ready Miss Olivia we shall leave!” May was laughing at Enrique he looks back rolls his eyes laughing. They arrive at the school Enrique has to take Olivia to see the teacher that she met the day she came to have a look around they found her, Olivia said to Enrique “why do people keep looking at you daddy?” He shakes his head “no idea but you need to get in to class & I`ll come by & pick you up at 3” He kisses Olivia she hugs him & runs off to be with her friend Monica, as Olivia reaches Monica she turns round waves & smiles at Enrique, then she turns round carries on chatting to her new friend. Enrique just smiles at the teacher waves back at Olivia.
Enrique drives home has a shower changes has a mug of tea with May & leaves for the hospital, Meanwhile Linda & Tony have popped in to see me, they hug & kiss me Linda says “You going to be able to come to the wedding Saturday June?” I look at her say “I hope so, your bachelorette party has been organised for tomorrow night at the house, the boys are going out, so I thought we could do at the house” She smiles says “well, I didn’t really what a fuss as you know, but that sounds good especially for you now!” I look a her as I say “although I might need a wheelchair I cant stand for long periods at the moment, think the hospital is insisting I have one anyway” I was meant to be the maid of honour but Linda knew there was no way I could be she said to me “Do you think Jade will be my maid of honour now that you cant do it June?” I looked smiled “Yes, Jade will step in you can ask her she would be honoured” she smiled looked at Tony he said “Yeah, right choice after June”
Enrique walks in says “Hey” I look at him smile as he bends down to kiss me “did Olivia get off to school ok?” He laughs says “I walked in to the house she was waiting in the kitchen with her arms folded with that expression “I am not impressed look” I did laugh but it hurt! The doctor came in to see me around 10 he asked everyone to leave including Enrique I grabbed Enrique`s arm he looked at me as I said “No you stay” I looked at the doctor said “His my husband I want him to stay” The doctor apologised he moved the sheets & started to remove my dressing, he felt all around my belly mumbles to the nurse says “Have you checked June`s blood pressure?” Yes, It`s back to normal now” “Ok, well, I think you can go home June” I smile “really??” he looks at me says “but, you must take it easy June, no lifting the babies for at least a week! & your going to have to use a wheelchair I don’t want to take any chances” I look at Enrique “I promise I won`t do anything, how long will I need to use the wheelchair for?” he moves his head from side to side says “maybe a couple of days to a week, you might find that you don’t need as much as we thought, but I want you to walk around as much as you can, but slowly at first we need you to do things slowly” Enrique laughs “I will make sure she does that Doc I know June, she will try & run a marathon” I slapped his arm.
Tony & Linda go home while Enrique helps me dress, I laugh as its not easy trying to dress someone else especially when they`re not well. We say our goodbyes to everyone my nurse says “I keep saying it your so lucky” I smile as Enrique takes my hand & he sits me in the chair, he wheels me to the car, I manage to get in the car he looks at me says “You ready?” I smile nod my head as we drive home he takes my hand & holds it all the way home.
We arrive home May is the snug sorting things out as Enrique walks me in there, “Hey, how you feeling?” I smile as I sit down say “Sore, but I am glad to be home” Enrique makes sure I have everything I need before he has to go out, “If you need anything June, call May or Maria ok?” I nod as he kisses me goodbye “I have my phone if you want to call or text me babe” I smile as he walks out the door I hear him drive off & I close my eyes.
Enrique is on route to Murray`s Office he gets there Murray says “I have no news yet I`m afraid Enrique?” Enrique sighs says “I came to see you for any more news, like what is going to happen to Jane, she has obviously abused her position” He leans back in his big leather chair puts his hands together so his fingers are touching each other, brings his hands to his bottom lip says “well, I have spoken to the Manager of the adoption agency & she has now suspended Jane for abuse of power, I have told them we are conducting our own DNA test to ensure Olivia is June`s daughter but she assured me that the little girl that is with you guys is the real Olivia!” Enrique takes a deep breath says “Oh I do hope so I can`t bear all this waiting Murray” He smiles says “not long I`ll be in touch later as soon as I know anything!”
Enrique meets up with Fernando & Carlos, Fernando asks him “you heard anything yet?” He shakes his head explains to them both what Murray had told him, Carlos sighs “You know if Olivia isn’t June`s this will send June over the edge, I don’t think she could take this news you know Enrique” Enrique looks at them both says “ I know, but I cant keep this from June once I find out later tonight, I will have to sit her down & tell her everything & I mean everything, you know June might not talk to me for a bit especially when I tell her I took that swab without her knowing, she will kill me!”
Carlos & Fernando stay behind in the café as Enrique decided he should be home with me, he walks in to the house walks into the snug see`s I`m asleep walks in kisses me on the head I wake up smile I return the favour he sits next to me holding my hand, says “I love you so much & you scared me back in the hospital , the thought of loosing you was just a big fat No” I stroke his cheek, smile say “You know the doctor told me how serious it was that I actually could’ve died in there” I could feel my eyes welling up at just even thinking about it, he takes my hand leans in closer & kisses me tenderly. He lies on the sofa with me, me leaning against his chest, when May walks in says “I am really sorry Enrique, June but Enrique do you realise the time?” He looks at the clock it was 2.55pm he shouted “shit” got up real quick forgetting how sore I am knocks me in the process, I scream “Ouch” he looks at me “Oh June I am so, so sorry you ok?” I was in pain but I knew he had totally forgotten about picking Olivia up from school!
He didn’t know what to do May said “ I`ll call Carlos ask him to pick her up, You see to June” She rang Carlos & as luck would have it Carlos was just about to go past the school Enrique had rung the school told them that Carlos will be there to pick Olivia up, they were fine with that! Enrique said “Do, you want some pain killers June?” I nod as he fetches them he comes back says “I am so sorry baby” I look at him said “don’t worry I`ll be fine” I took the pain killers as Enrique`s cell phone rings he said “I`ll just take this outside June” He walks out to pool area it was Murray “Enrique I have the results for you, are you sitting down?” He sits down as Murray explains things to him he says to Murray “Thanks for getting back to me, I`ll be in touch soon” He hangs up the phone says to himself “Oh Boy” Takes his cap off pushes his fingers through his hair, Just as Olivia runs through the gate to give him a huge hug.

Awesome chpater really lovely, but the cliffhanger was really bad...u cant leave me hanging like that for a two more days...btw sweet and lovely chapter....sry i had to change my profile pic...
