A fun but silly story...The last & final chapter is on page 478..updated 16th August 2012
Now i must explain first when i went to this concert i wasn’t a huge fan my friend Sophie asked if i would go and i said yes i`ll go, never seen him live i wasn’t that bothered who he was, i just love live music. We did make sure that Enrique`s greatest hits cd was playing all the way to Cardiff just so i didn’t look stupid ,but i knew all his songs anyway ,just never brought any of his albums. The only song i hadn’t listened to in a long time was “ hero “ and that song reminded me of my ex and every time it was played i use to turn the radio off! Too many memories , too hurtful to listen too.
So, we drive to Cardiff to watch Enrique in concert, it took us about 2 hours to get there traffic was good on this particular day thank god, when we arrived around 4pm it was a lovely sunny day.
We found somewhere to park quite easy right next to the Cardiff arena. We sat in the car wondering
what to do as we were so early, i said “well , we could walk into town go get something to eat, go shopping just to kill sometime then come back a little later on”.
We got out the car, we decided to check which way we had to go in to the arena we looked up & noticed a huge crowd had developed at the back of the arena, so went to see what all the fuss was about.Enrique had just arrived and he was running late as usual and i just saw the top of his hat, all these girls were screaming out his name to which i just laughed and shook my head, all of a sudden i heard some one call my name “June, June “over here i looked over by the barrier & noticed a guy waving at me, it was one of the Roadie`s that i knew called Jamie i knew Jamie from another gig he was doing ages ago. Jamie was 6ft with short Blonde hair not bad looking if i were honest.
He called me over & asked how i was, said i was fine said hello to my friend Sophie, i said to” Jamie what brings you here” he replied “the company i work for are doing the Enrique tour”, “wow that`s good for ya” i replied. Jamie then said to me “Are you still a keen photographer”
“yes i am why?” Looking really puzzled.
“Well Enrique`s resident photographer has had to go back home to Miami due to ill health & the management & Enrique are losing their minds because they desperately need someone to take photos for tonight`s gig & the rest of his tour”. I smiled & said “what has that got to do with me” acting a bit dumb and smiling at Jamie “well ,was wondering if your up to doing it i would have to go and speak to his people first” i blushed and i said “yeah would love too, but it wont Happen Jamie they wouldn’t want someone like me ,miss ordinary doing that sort of thing, he said “lets try yeah?”
I gave him my number & he said he would ring & let me know either way.
We walked off and Sophie was dead excited i said “don’t get your hopes up it aint going to happen lets walk in to town to get something to eat” by this time i was starving it was like 4.30pm we hadn’t eaten since 9am & that was at breakfast!
we got half way in to town when my phone rings its Jamie i gasp at Sophie, shaking i answered it & he said “where are you? Walking in to town why? “
“Well you better get your sorry little arse back here they want you to do some test shots of Enrique`s sound check & if your any good you`ve got the gig!!” I squealed with delight & went “nah Jamie your winding me up” he replied “i am not June, Enrique said he wanted to see what you were
made of! So, seriously get your arse back here now, but you have to be here
like now” he screamed. “Ok, ok” i said “we`re coming back right now but i warn you, you better not be winding me up Jamie! “I turned to Sophie & said “we`ve gotta go back they want me now!” smiling
really silly I said to Jamie “we`re be there in about 10 minutes”
I screamed, jumped up & down, said “we going to have to run back mate” she laughed & said “what in these heels” i said “yeah take them off “laughing.we ran as fast as we could back to the arena as it was getting late it was about 5.00pm and the doors were due to open at 6.30pm but Enrique hadn’t even done his sound check.
We got back to the arena and there was even more people waiting to see Enrique and as we were walking towards the barrier i heard some bloke say to these girls “oh they reckon they going to just walk up & go straight in” i smiled at the little cocky bloke as The security guy lifted the barrier up, i said “we`re here to see Jamie”, the guy look over at Jamie he gave The nod and the security guard let us through. The bloke blushed with embarrassment, i looked at him and laughed he put his head down because he knew how stupid he sounded, to be honest i don’t think he even knew we heard him say
what he did.
Jamie said “here your both going to need these access all areas passes” as we were walking into the venue, we put them over our heads so that the hung from out necks, so that they could be scanned each time we went anywhere.
“Sophie, your going to have to sit this one out i`m afraid your have to wait in the lounge room as Enrique doesn’t want anyone else in the arena apart from the Band, sound engineers & his management and of course June” Jamie smiled at this because he knew that this could be the best thing that has happened to me. It did make me blush that Enrique only wanted me in there with the others, and i thought, yeah right as if Enrique would even give me a second glance.
Jamie took me through and i remember thinking this is too good to be true someone pinch me please, my heart was beating so fast i was shaking, the palms of my hands were sweaty and my mouth was dry, Dave one of the sound guys introduced me to everyone he said “you can go anywhere you like,
where would you prefer to take your pix?” I said sheepishly ,”can i go on the cat walk?”
Dave replied “yes you can”, smiling at me there was some small steps leading to end of the catwalk & i decided i was going to sit crossed legged at the end to take some pix just take a few then go nearer once i plucked up the courage to do so...Id never seen Enrique in concert let alone met him & i never really been nervous when i have met famous people before,but this time “oh boy”
Enrique popped out from the side of the stage saw me sitting on the end of the catwalk & waved said
in to the microphone “Hey June, you ok?”
The house lights were up so he could see me clearly He looked so handsome and so tall id forgotten how tall he was. He was wearing his trade mark cap jeans, white hoodie with a scarf to keep his throat warm. I thought my heart was going to stop beating, I could feel it miss a beat when i saw him standing there smiling. I was looking up feeling myself blushing a lot i waved back & smiled thinking my god he looks even more handsome in the flesh.
The band starting playing ring my bells just as Enrique started walking towards me i was laughing to myself because i was so nervous, i could feel myself going red as he walked up to me smiling and singing “ring my bells” He stopped singing, the band continued to play.
He came right up to me sat down in front of me crossed his legs and our knees were touching each other, he said “you ok”? too which i replied “well err no, if i am honest i am shitting myself,” too which
he burst out laughing “hold your hands out “i put my camera down & i held my hands out he said “turn your hands, so your palms are facing the floor”, i looked at him he said “wow, you really are shitting yourself “ he said laughing at me “ your hands are shaking like mad, just like mine”
he started to laugh as he made his hands shake. I laugh at him thinking you silly sod but he put me at ease really quickly.
Enrique then said “bet your heart is beating real fast? “To that i answered “yes, it is “ took his right hand & placed it on my heart without even thinking where his hand was, he looked me right in the eye for a good few seconds smiled and then moved his hand away slowly, he was still smiling at this point. I thought how embarrassing was that, i mean, I don’t even know the guy really & go and do that to him, stupid, stupid i kept saying to myself.
I also remember thinking how beautiful his eyes were while he looking at me for that split moment,the skin on is hands was so soft. He then took hold of my camera & came right next me put his to head to my head & took a photo,” smile” he said as he was taking it.
He then got up ,extended his arms ,pulled me up said “bet your not nervous now are ya”
kissed me on both cheeks gave me hug and said “go for it June , take as many pix as you like, the more the better lets see how good u really are!! Put it this way if these photo`s don’t come out very good Jamie is going to be in big trouble” laughing.
I took about 50 photos of him doing the sound check he was running late as usual but he needed
to make sure everything was good to go for tonight`s gig, he finished & i said “Thanks Enrique” he said “No probs June i`ll take a look at them now if that`s ok? Yeah of course”, I took the memory card out the camera and gave it to him he said “do you mind waiting in the lounge room with the band? Just while i take a look at these with Fernando and we won`t keep you in suspense too long i promise you” he said smiling & he gave me a wink.
Went into the lounge room & my friend Sophie was talking
to Laura Jane they both asked how it went i said “ok i think, their looking at them now” i said nervously. Laura said “he will love them June trust me, Sophie has showed me some other photo`s that you have taken & you are really good June, Don`t put yourself down”, “cant help it “”i replied “just don’t think i am that good if i am totally honest with you” i snapped and i apologise for snapping but she understood how much this meant to me.
I smiled at her but i wasn’t convinced kept thinking he wasn’t going to like them & that they would be wasting their time testing me when they could have got a professional photographer in for one night.
About half an hour went past and i have to say it was the longest half hour of my life i was walking up & down the room thinking to myself he won`t like them, bet they turned out blurred. Everyone kept telling me sit down don’t worry, but i couldn’t i was worrying big time.
Then the door swings open i stop dead in my tracks, Fernando says “June, come with me”...Gulp i looked at everyone in the room they wished me luck. Enrique`s dressing room was at the end of the corridor my heart was beating so fast, i was so sure that Fernando could hear it going boom,
boom boom, Fernando knocked on Enrique`s door walked in & said to me “come in, sit down next to Enrique” i smiled and said “thanks” as i did Enrique kissed me again on the cheek & said “well
well well.”...............
I was really blushing at this point my heart was pounding, my hands a little sweaty, my mouth was so dry & i honestly thought i was going to cry.........

A Fun But Silly Story Part 2
Chapter 24
We had both fallen asleep on the Sunbed, I woke just as the Sun was rising, I looked at Enrique his eyes flickered opened them said “Hey” In a sleepy voice I kissed him said “Look, just in time!” we sit cuddling one another as I was looking at the sun coming up, he kept giving me small quick kisses on the cheek “June, have to say this is just so romantic, & I wanna say thanks” I look at him “what for babe?” He laughs says “what for??? My Birthday yesterday was amazing & I don’t know where you get these Ideas from, and I really don’t know how your going to top that one!” I smiled at him thinking, god his right, but i gotta year to think of something!
I sit up on his lap with the sheet still covering us both said “You want to go back to bed?” He smiles says “No! I`m gonna stay here!” I got off him said “Ok”, took the sheet off me gave it to him & went back to bed I just got another sheet to cover me. I laid down closed my eyes when I felt him jump on the bed I looked round at him he was laughing. “what`s up with you Enrique?” He snuggled into me said “How could I not come to bed after you asked so sexy” He tickled me only a little though, the tickle turned into strokes, small loving stroke`s of my body.
Later that Morning we`re both dressed & ready for the day! Olivia was going to visit her new school today, just to see if she would settle I was taking her as I didn’t want any fuss around Enrique. We arrived at the Elementary school at 10am we were met by a lovely lady called Alice, she shook Olivia`s hand & Olivia smiled she said “Hello”. Alice showed us the class room that Olivia would be taught in & she sat down next to a little girl called Monica, Alice asked me “to wait outside with her & watch through the door as the teacher introduces the class to Olivia.
Alice asked me “If Olivia decides this is the school she wants to come too, what surname will you be using for Olivia?” I smiled said “she will have mine as I don’t want any distractions to her education” Alice smiles says “No, I completely agree with you, sounds like you have both thought a lot about it” I sigh say “well, we have 3 other young children & we decided then that we would use a different name I.E mine for school” She placed her hand on her heart said “Oh my Gosh you have 4 children??” I laugh say “Yes, but I have to say Olivia is mine, but not Enrique`s I had her adopted” I proceeded to tell her the whole story. She smiled said “Amazing”
An hour later the school bell goes Olivia runs out comes over to us says “I like it here” We sorted all the details out as Olivia was talking to Monica very excitedly Monica says “If your mommy lets you, you can come over to our house one day a week, after school” Olivia looks at me & I say “Well, I`d like to meet your mommy & daddy first Monica” she smiles “that`s no problem” I laughed & said to Olivia “Right lets go home tell daddy all your news hey!” We left the school drove home Enrique wasn’t there he sent a text to say he was going to the recording studio for the day/night. Olivia ran up to May said “Im going to school next Monday & I have a new friend called Monica” May laughed handed Olivia a drink of homemade lemonade.
I went in to see Maria make sure Ella, Amber & Cruz were ok, I picked Amber up she was getting heavy now, Ella was laughing I couldn’t wait for Ella to start walking she was crawling everywhere now. I put Amber down went to look at the photographs that Olivia likes looking at, I sat down started flicking through the pages when I came across a photograph of Andres & Enrique arms round each other shoulders smiling Olivia walks in she sits beside me says “I really like that one” as she pointed to the same photograph, I looked at her said “do you? What makes you like it Olivia?” she looks at me says “Well daddy is in it & I know that man that is next to daddy” I look at her say “Olivia how do you know Andres?” She takes a deep breath says “when I was dropped off here Andres was the man in the car” I looked at Olivia & said “how did you get in his car?” Jane, she knew him, we met him a lot why mommy?” I sigh say “Andres isn’t a very nice man Olivia” She looks at me “Daddy & Uncle Fernando know about Andres!” I looked surprised “Really???” She nodded “well, I need to speak to them then”
Olivia & I had some dinner I was ignoring Enrique`s calls & texts I wasn’t very happy with him, after all we promised we would never keep anything from each other & he hides this secret. Olivia said “Mommy you ok?” I smile & nod at her “yes Olivia I am ok” Olivia left the table to watch some television, when May said “your quiet” I take a deep breath say “Yup, I am so angry right now May, I need to go for a walk” She looks at me as i stand up “wanna talk about it?” I shake my head “No, Thanks May” I head towards the beach. The sand was warm under foot, there was hardly any breeze, i decided to walk along the waters edge, splashing the water as I walked through it, I was really cheesed off that they both kept this from me.
I had been gone for about 25 minutes when Enrique walks in to the kitchen he sees May says “Hi, is June around?” May shook her head saying “No, she has gone for a walk, she isn’t very happy about something she has been really quiet all afternoon Enrique!” Olivia rushes in to the room as she heard her daddy`s voice he picks her up saying “Hey” Kisses her “how was school?” She nodded “cool have a friend called Monica” he laughs “so, do you know why mommy isn’t very happy Olivia?” Trying to get it out of her “No, but we were looking at the pictures again & the one of you with Andres!” Enrique put Olivia down looked at May “did mommy say anything” “only to say she wanted to speak to you!” He takes a deep breath says to May “Did she say where she was going? May shook her head “the beach, i mean June goes there a lot” “Well id better go find her then do you mind?” He pointed at Olivia she said “you go find June Olivia will be fine here!”
I had no idea where I was going I did think I would start to head back I turn round start to walk back, I once again walk along the waters edge, when a dog comes flying past me knocks me off my feet “what the..” It was Lucas I fell down in the water as Lucas & Alfie jumped all over me Enrique had to run up & rescue me. I was livid I had got soaked, he was laughing at me, “Oh June I am so sorry” I shot him a look “guess you want to know why I didn’t tell you!” “Ah so you know why, Olivia told you didn’t she??” He said “yeah, that was the day you had the baby Blues real bad babe, when we went on that picnic, remember?” I nodded “But we promised we wouldn’t keep anything from each other and you go & do it Enrique” I had tears in my eyes now I rushed off but he caught me up, he took my arm said “June, please don’t babe” I shrug him off me & keep running, the dogs run past me, they don’t know any different, Enrique runs in front of me stops me in my tracks! “I am so sorry” I just look at him then the dogs run back real fast knock us both over & into the water, I was soaked, I stood up “Oh my god that`s twice now, sort the damn dogs out will you!” I stomp off he was laughing but he knew I was even more angry now!
I got back to the house walked straight upstairs as Olivia shouts “mommy why you wet?” I shout back ask your Daddy Olivia” I slammed the bedroom door shut & went & had a shower. Enrique walks in says “The dogs knocked her over twice, the second time with me, she isn’t happy think I will leave her alone for a bit to calm down, I`m going outside to dry off in the sun”
I had a shower dried my hair, sat on the balcony I looked down saw Enrique sitting outside on his own, I went downstairs to talk to him I walked outside “Hey You” he looked up stood up said “Hey I am sorry June!” I looked at him he looked real bad “I know why you kept it from me babe, but I do wish you told me sooner Enrique” he hugs me kisses me says “sorry” for the hundredth time I pull away from him still have my arms around his waist say “we need to find out how Jane know Andres, I am going to try & phone her mobile tomorrow, if she doesn’t answer i will phone the uk office I will get to the bottom of this babe!” he smiles brings my head in closer & kisses me on the lips.
We walk back in to the kitchen where I made him something to eat, I said “I am glad we made up I didn’t want to go to bed on a argument” He laughs says “It was You that didn’t want to talk to me June, you had the hump with me” I slapped him said “did you have to remind me of that?”
We went to bed around 11 I was just so sleepy, we fell asleep hugging each other! I woke up around 2am looked around me I was in bed on my own, I got up put a t-shirt on I could hear Enrique on the phone, but couldn’t quite make out what he was saying! I walked downstairs quietly he was talking softly in to the phone “Yeah I know cant do anything yet its going to take time” I stood in the door way leaning against the door frame with my arms crossed, tears welling up one by one they start to fall on to my cheeks I then heard him say “ I cant tell her yet it would break her heart” After i heard that I went upstairs tears falling down my face thinking of all kinds of things i took it he was talking to another girl, I heard him coming upstairs I dried my face quickly laid down on my front & pretended to be asleep. He got in to bed kissed me on the cheek & i usually i move to be closer to him, but tonight I don’t move he snuggles into me & falls asleep, all I wanted to do was push him away!

Now June, I don't like it when you leave us hanging like that Grrrr - This chapter really should have been a loooooooong one woman - I want to know more on the Andres front - Tell, me more, tell me more (Grease) PSML
Honestly, that was an excellent chapter but I really, really did want more : )

Ok June..can't sleep after my middle of the night intermission...such is life at 52..ok ..but I am keeping all ages of me alive and now have to search where i left off...I know it won't help me sleep a couple more hours..but gonna read and try anyway..or at least find my spot!!..LOL...Sarah

Who is he talking to & why would he go behind your back with Andres? What the heck is happening with the Andres thing? I had tears in my eyes reading this. I really hope he's not reconciling with Andres & planning on trying to get you too as well. Hopefully you just came in on a bad part of the conversation. Good but sad chapter & way too short!
