A fun but silly story...The last & final chapter is on page 478..updated 16th August 2012
Now i must explain first when i went to this concert i wasn’t a huge fan my friend Sophie asked if i would go and i said yes i`ll go, never seen him live i wasn’t that bothered who he was, i just love live music. We did make sure that Enrique`s greatest hits cd was playing all the way to Cardiff just so i didn’t look stupid ,but i knew all his songs anyway ,just never brought any of his albums. The only song i hadn’t listened to in a long time was “ hero “ and that song reminded me of my ex and every time it was played i use to turn the radio off! Too many memories , too hurtful to listen too.
So, we drive to Cardiff to watch Enrique in concert, it took us about 2 hours to get there traffic was good on this particular day thank god, when we arrived around 4pm it was a lovely sunny day.
We found somewhere to park quite easy right next to the Cardiff arena. We sat in the car wondering
what to do as we were so early, i said “well , we could walk into town go get something to eat, go shopping just to kill sometime then come back a little later on”.
We got out the car, we decided to check which way we had to go in to the arena we looked up & noticed a huge crowd had developed at the back of the arena, so went to see what all the fuss was about.Enrique had just arrived and he was running late as usual and i just saw the top of his hat, all these girls were screaming out his name to which i just laughed and shook my head, all of a sudden i heard some one call my name “June, June “over here i looked over by the barrier & noticed a guy waving at me, it was one of the Roadie`s that i knew called Jamie i knew Jamie from another gig he was doing ages ago. Jamie was 6ft with short Blonde hair not bad looking if i were honest.
He called me over & asked how i was, said i was fine said hello to my friend Sophie, i said to” Jamie what brings you here” he replied “the company i work for are doing the Enrique tour”, “wow that`s good for ya” i replied. Jamie then said to me “Are you still a keen photographer”
“yes i am why?” Looking really puzzled.
“Well Enrique`s resident photographer has had to go back home to Miami due to ill health & the management & Enrique are losing their minds because they desperately need someone to take photos for tonight`s gig & the rest of his tour”. I smiled & said “what has that got to do with me” acting a bit dumb and smiling at Jamie “well ,was wondering if your up to doing it i would have to go and speak to his people first” i blushed and i said “yeah would love too, but it wont Happen Jamie they wouldn’t want someone like me ,miss ordinary doing that sort of thing, he said “lets try yeah?”
I gave him my number & he said he would ring & let me know either way.
We walked off and Sophie was dead excited i said “don’t get your hopes up it aint going to happen lets walk in to town to get something to eat” by this time i was starving it was like 4.30pm we hadn’t eaten since 9am & that was at breakfast!
we got half way in to town when my phone rings its Jamie i gasp at Sophie, shaking i answered it & he said “where are you? Walking in to town why? “
“Well you better get your sorry little arse back here they want you to do some test shots of Enrique`s sound check & if your any good you`ve got the gig!!” I squealed with delight & went “nah Jamie your winding me up” he replied “i am not June, Enrique said he wanted to see what you were
made of! So, seriously get your arse back here now, but you have to be here
like now” he screamed. “Ok, ok” i said “we`re coming back right now but i warn you, you better not be winding me up Jamie! “I turned to Sophie & said “we`ve gotta go back they want me now!” smiling
really silly I said to Jamie “we`re be there in about 10 minutes”
I screamed, jumped up & down, said “we going to have to run back mate” she laughed & said “what in these heels” i said “yeah take them off “laughing.we ran as fast as we could back to the arena as it was getting late it was about 5.00pm and the doors were due to open at 6.30pm but Enrique hadn’t even done his sound check.
We got back to the arena and there was even more people waiting to see Enrique and as we were walking towards the barrier i heard some bloke say to these girls “oh they reckon they going to just walk up & go straight in” i smiled at the little cocky bloke as The security guy lifted the barrier up, i said “we`re here to see Jamie”, the guy look over at Jamie he gave The nod and the security guard let us through. The bloke blushed with embarrassment, i looked at him and laughed he put his head down because he knew how stupid he sounded, to be honest i don’t think he even knew we heard him say
what he did.
Jamie said “here your both going to need these access all areas passes” as we were walking into the venue, we put them over our heads so that the hung from out necks, so that they could be scanned each time we went anywhere.
“Sophie, your going to have to sit this one out i`m afraid your have to wait in the lounge room as Enrique doesn’t want anyone else in the arena apart from the Band, sound engineers & his management and of course June” Jamie smiled at this because he knew that this could be the best thing that has happened to me. It did make me blush that Enrique only wanted me in there with the others, and i thought, yeah right as if Enrique would even give me a second glance.
Jamie took me through and i remember thinking this is too good to be true someone pinch me please, my heart was beating so fast i was shaking, the palms of my hands were sweaty and my mouth was dry, Dave one of the sound guys introduced me to everyone he said “you can go anywhere you like,
where would you prefer to take your pix?” I said sheepishly ,”can i go on the cat walk?”
Dave replied “yes you can”, smiling at me there was some small steps leading to end of the catwalk & i decided i was going to sit crossed legged at the end to take some pix just take a few then go nearer once i plucked up the courage to do so...Id never seen Enrique in concert let alone met him & i never really been nervous when i have met famous people before,but this time “oh boy”
Enrique popped out from the side of the stage saw me sitting on the end of the catwalk & waved said
in to the microphone “Hey June, you ok?”
The house lights were up so he could see me clearly He looked so handsome and so tall id forgotten how tall he was. He was wearing his trade mark cap jeans, white hoodie with a scarf to keep his throat warm. I thought my heart was going to stop beating, I could feel it miss a beat when i saw him standing there smiling. I was looking up feeling myself blushing a lot i waved back & smiled thinking my god he looks even more handsome in the flesh.
The band starting playing ring my bells just as Enrique started walking towards me i was laughing to myself because i was so nervous, i could feel myself going red as he walked up to me smiling and singing “ring my bells” He stopped singing, the band continued to play.
He came right up to me sat down in front of me crossed his legs and our knees were touching each other, he said “you ok”? too which i replied “well err no, if i am honest i am shitting myself,” too which
he burst out laughing “hold your hands out “i put my camera down & i held my hands out he said “turn your hands, so your palms are facing the floor”, i looked at him he said “wow, you really are shitting yourself “ he said laughing at me “ your hands are shaking like mad, just like mine”
he started to laugh as he made his hands shake. I laugh at him thinking you silly sod but he put me at ease really quickly.
Enrique then said “bet your heart is beating real fast? “To that i answered “yes, it is “ took his right hand & placed it on my heart without even thinking where his hand was, he looked me right in the eye for a good few seconds smiled and then moved his hand away slowly, he was still smiling at this point. I thought how embarrassing was that, i mean, I don’t even know the guy really & go and do that to him, stupid, stupid i kept saying to myself.
I also remember thinking how beautiful his eyes were while he looking at me for that split moment,the skin on is hands was so soft. He then took hold of my camera & came right next me put his to head to my head & took a photo,” smile” he said as he was taking it.
He then got up ,extended his arms ,pulled me up said “bet your not nervous now are ya”
kissed me on both cheeks gave me hug and said “go for it June , take as many pix as you like, the more the better lets see how good u really are!! Put it this way if these photo`s don’t come out very good Jamie is going to be in big trouble” laughing.
I took about 50 photos of him doing the sound check he was running late as usual but he needed
to make sure everything was good to go for tonight`s gig, he finished & i said “Thanks Enrique” he said “No probs June i`ll take a look at them now if that`s ok? Yeah of course”, I took the memory card out the camera and gave it to him he said “do you mind waiting in the lounge room with the band? Just while i take a look at these with Fernando and we won`t keep you in suspense too long i promise you” he said smiling & he gave me a wink.
Went into the lounge room & my friend Sophie was talking
to Laura Jane they both asked how it went i said “ok i think, their looking at them now” i said nervously. Laura said “he will love them June trust me, Sophie has showed me some other photo`s that you have taken & you are really good June, Don`t put yourself down”, “cant help it “”i replied “just don’t think i am that good if i am totally honest with you” i snapped and i apologise for snapping but she understood how much this meant to me.
I smiled at her but i wasn’t convinced kept thinking he wasn’t going to like them & that they would be wasting their time testing me when they could have got a professional photographer in for one night.
About half an hour went past and i have to say it was the longest half hour of my life i was walking up & down the room thinking to myself he won`t like them, bet they turned out blurred. Everyone kept telling me sit down don’t worry, but i couldn’t i was worrying big time.
Then the door swings open i stop dead in my tracks, Fernando says “June, come with me”...Gulp i looked at everyone in the room they wished me luck. Enrique`s dressing room was at the end of the corridor my heart was beating so fast, i was so sure that Fernando could hear it going boom,
boom boom, Fernando knocked on Enrique`s door walked in & said to me “come in, sit down next to Enrique” i smiled and said “thanks” as i did Enrique kissed me again on the cheek & said “well
well well.”...............
I was really blushing at this point my heart was pounding, my hands a little sweaty, my mouth was so dry & i honestly thought i was going to cry.........

June, almost forgot to comment on part 19 ... So the 'love-birds' are in Mexico, nice ... Wouldn't mind to spend a few days there with Enrique too. Oops, hope my hubby doesn't read this ... ;-)

Chapter 20
I smiled at him and continued kissing him, I stopped pulled away & said “I love you too” He grabs my hand says “come with me”, we went back down stairs he opened the fridge and inside was a bottle of Champagne and Two Champagne flutes and some orange juice. He poured the orange juice into the glasses & then champagne. He gave me a glass and we went outside by the pool and he said “to us babe, to having a fabulous first Christmas”, we kissed once more and he we sit down by the pool with out legs just kicking the water about. I then thought im going to get him wet so i kicked the water at him and soaked him he then did the same and then pushed me in, but as he did i grabbed his arm and pulled him in with me. Laughing my head off he came towards me kissed me i then rip his t-shirt off un do his jeans as he rips off my top. We`re laughing so much that we`re both swimming in our underwear, we look at one another i take my bra off and throw it Enrique is smiling at this stage, i move towards him our bodies become one and we make love in the pool.
After we`re done in the pool Enrique jumps out gets a couple of towels from the sun bed and puts one around his dripping naked body and holds one open for me and drapes me in it. We hug and have a little kiss and sit down in the towels drinking more Bucks Fizz.
The next day was Christmas Eve Enrique decided it would be nice if we went on a picnic, we went out on the boat for the day, but what i didn’t know was that he had some friends come round put up a real Christmas tree decorate it wrap some presents up, cook a Turkey with all the trimmings in readiness for when we come back a little later...The boat trip was amazing we dived in to water a few times , we had lunch, we talked a little, kissed lots sometimes we just cuddled not saying a word, then we decided we would start to head back around 3 we arrived back at the house in Los Cabos and immediately noticed something different, i smiled and carried on walking in to the house, where there stood this amazing real Christmas tree with lots of Presents around it, “oh wow Enrique what a beautiful Tree, when did you get this organised” smiling he walked over to me put his arm around my neck pulled me close and said “got a few friends do this while we were out on the boat, but you haven’t seen anything yet babe” We both had a shower changed we decided we were going to dress up for tonight. I went downstairs first and then Enrique came down he saw me sitting there with a drink, he smiles and says “lets have dinner” I looked puzzled i don’t know why i did because he always had this knack of surprising me. He walked through to kitchen and Dinner was being served by one of Enrique`s friends “Wow, i had no idea i mean could smell something cooking but wasn’t sure what though” We had dinner which was awesome we went and sat by the tree in the lounge, and Enrique got some Mistletoe from the back of the tree he held it up and said “fancy a kiss darling in fake English Ascent ” Roaring with laughter i said “gone on then we had a proper full on snog” He said “lets open our presents” we had brought loads for each other little things mainly, but things that would mean something to us. When we opened them all i said to him “i have one last present for you” “You didn’t really have to give me anything else June, so what is it”? I smiled stood up “me” Laughing he said “what do you mean”? I said “un wrap me babe” he un zipped my dress, he slid the dress off my shoulders and it fell to the floor revealing the most sexiest Black lacy Bra, panties he had seen, he smiled said ”come here, i knelt down to him and we made love there on the floor by the tree.
5 Months later
Enrique had embarked on his worldwide tour with his Euphoria Album in 2011, he had been working hard for this tour he loved performing, he loved to be able to meet as many fans as possible.
We were still together after all this time proved a lot of people wrong, as they all said we wouldn’t last.
In May he had some time off as in the whole of the month, he did some promotional work here and there, he wanted just to relax a little bit have some fun. His birthday was also approaching, so secretly i was trying to organise a surprise party for him, but i was getting a bit stressed out, in the end i had to ring Carlos to organise the guys. It was 7th May, Enrique`s birthday was the next day a cake had been made for him, presents chosen and all the guests booked. I was taking him out for meal and while this was happening the house was being sorted, but we had to be back by 9pm.
The next day i woke up really early, left Enrique sprawled out in bed, Naked and i went down stairs sorted Breakfast out made some Coffee and Tea, went back upstairs and he was stirring just as i walked in to the bedroom, he smiled at me i smiled back and i sang happy Birthday to him, fair play it was totally out of tune. He laughed at me i kissed him on the lips said “Happy Birthday Babe” He kissed me back and “wow, thanks for this” He seemed surprised that i had made this much effort. I gave him his card & some of his presents; these are just for now i have more for you later winking at him. He tore my presents open i decided that he had to have an i-phone so when he opened it he was truly surprised “wow Hun you didn’t have to” He leaned over kissed me, the rest of his presents were some clothes new hat and i brought him some Paco rabanne aftershave. He drank his coffee and decided to finally eat his breakfast, “Thanks so much June, i mean what i say here, no one has ever made me feel special on my birthday” to which i replied “well perhaps they should start after all you do loads for people`s birthdays” We had a hug and a kiss i said “we`re going out tonight for a meal but we`re going out at 7pm” Blimey that`s earlier ” Laughing, “well i have a lot to do with you tonight” winking at him.
His day gets better Fernando pops round with a card and a present , so does Carlos, i leave them too it and go and speak to May about the food & drink for tonight, she said “it`s all sorted Ricardo is making the punch in pool house” i gave May a hug says “Thanks”
We get ready to go out i decide that i am going to wear the Purple dress that Enrique got me for Christmas, he loved this on me i thought why not it`s his night tonight, my hair was long curls and make up was just subtle. Enrique had been ready for ages, he kept shouting up at me “June come on we`re be late” I shouted back “makes a bloody change that i`m late” laughing. Right one last look in the mirror, “yep, knock him dead kiddo” I said to myself, i walked down the stairs and i heard “ Oh bloody hell, June you look amazing” I looked at him and i went “Oh my god babe look at you”, he was wearing Black trousers, Black shirt & Jacket he too looked amazing. He kissed me on cheek and said “ How about we don’t go out tonight and that way i can have my wicked way with you now” Laughing I said “No, you can wait until we get back later, it will make you want me more” smiling.
We arrived at the restaurant and was seated quite quickly, but they knew we had to leave before 9pm,while we was having our meal Some one brought some Roses up to us and said to Enrique “these have been hand delivered for you” He looked and said “ Any note with then” no came the reply. The meal was served and eaten by 9. we were running about 15 minutes late i text Carlos told him we were on our way, We got in the car & Phil was driving i told Enrique he had to wear a blindfold, because i didn’t want him knowing where we were going. We got back to house & he said “can i take this off yet” No not yet Hun soon i`ll guide you don’t worry”. I carefully got him out the car and he held my arm as tight as he could, i was thinking all the times he has had me blindfolded, make`s a change. We got by the pool i said to him “right i am going to take this off now ok”, i kissed him on the lips walked behind him and tore off the blind fold, “SURPRISE”, everyone shouted “Oh my god you little witch” he grabbed me swung me round and said “thank you soo much” kissed me and walked towards everyone. I was so proud i stood back and watched him, he was totally caught out he had absolutely no idea that was what i was planning.
We were both mingling with all the guests when Fernando shouts out that Enrique should do a speech, Enrique walks by the pool and gets a knife and bangs on the side of the glass, and every one is dead quiet now. He starts by saying “Thank you to all of you that came here tonight, i know June planned this, so i would like to propose a toast to June” everyone went “to June” he said “i have had an amazing Birthday i truly had no idea she was planning this, thank you all for the cards & presents, but i have some thing else that i would like to do tonight, June come here” i reluctantly walked towards Enrique. He turned to face me,& said ”June, i have always said i knew you would be the one i would spend my life with, he then went down on one knee, i gasp put my hands to head looking through my fingers as he produced a box out of his pocket, he opened the box and there in all its Glory was a plaitinum Engagement ring i drop my hands and looked around the me and then he said it” June, will you marry me” I started crying at this point, i said “yes “straight away with out any doubt in my mind, he put the ring on my 3rd finger and kissed me so hard on the lips everybody was cheering and clapping he hugged me tight and moved me from side to side saying “yes yes yes”. The tears started again, he smiled kissed my face and said “ i was going to do that tonight in bed but i thought why not do it here right now, we`re all friends here” i hug him and said “wow thank you so much you know i never thought you wanted this”, looking at the rings “that`s how i knew you were the one right back last year in Cardiff”.......
The party was a huge hit for everyone it was quite hot so people were jumping in the pool, Enrique had drunk so much Atlántico Rum think he might have been on his 3rd bottle. I wasn’t that drunk i was just merry, i so wanted to Telephone my parents but it was too late at night in the uk, so i was going to have to wait until the morning. Enrique came up to me put his arm around my waist and said “will you dance with me”? Someone had put on some slow music and he said to me “i am pretty sure we haven’t had a slow dance apart form that time i got you on stage” Laughing i said “we haven’t ever had a slow dance babe” so we danced to Gloria Esterfan “here we are” Taylor swift “ love Story” and “Savage garden Truly, madly deeply” I sigh with total contentment and Enrique pulled away he looked at me smiled kissed me & i said “You know, I love you so much” he kissed my nose and “hmmm i love you too babe, cant wait to spend the rest of my life with you”
it`s Now June 2011 and we had arrived back in the uk to kick off the2nd leg of his European leg of this tour, Enrique loves performing here he has the best time. We arrive at the hotel and Fernando says to me “you look really tired today June, are you ok”? I nodded said “i was really good, just looking forward to getting stuck in taking some pictures later on” I hadn’t been very well for about 3 weeks in May, i had caught a really bad virus, had to make sure i kept away From Enrique as much as possible, i couldn’t risk him becoming ill but we couldn’t stay apart too long.!!! Enrique walked up to me kissed on the mouth, we went down to venue and the band were already there Enrique took a look round with me his arm draped around my neck saying” i love playing in the uk, its just awesome over here June” I took some photo`s of the band, then just some natural one`s of Enrique when he didn’t know i was taking the picture`s. On the European part of his tour they decided to do a v.i.p meet and Greet i was taking the photo`s of this so better make sure camera was working alright.
We went back to hotel after Enrique did his sound check in Nottingham, some fans were waiting and He Recognised a few of them from The Florida Keys Trudie and Joanne were there, Enrique saw them and went up to them and said “Hi girls we meet again” Laughing Trudie said “ yeah we meet again, it must be love Enrique,” He replied” it must be Trudie” He gave her kiss on the lips & did the same with Joanne they each had a picture taken by Fernando as i had gone straight to our room i was not feeling very well again. Trudie asked “so where is June” He replied “she is in the hotel suite, she isn’t feeling very well” Trudie said “ooo does that mean i get you all to myself for a while” laughing he said “fraid not girls i really have to go, but I am sure i will see you at the concert later” “you betcha “they both said he kissed them both again and went into the hotel. He came in to the room i was laying on the bed, curled up he came over laid on the bed with me, with him curled up behind me we his arms around me, we both fell asleep.
Unfortunately, the meet and greet was going to have to be done after the gig as Enrique & i did not wake up until 7pm, we both had our cell phone`s on silent & we didn’t hear Fernando banging on the door, the only thing that woke us up was the hotel phone. Whoopps. The concert Was amazing as always i feel loads better so i took the photo`s for this gig, i hadn’t eaten anything either but i couldn’t face it.
The meet & greet was very funny as Michelle was there and her mate Bex Enrique made sure he spent enough time with them as he was the one who was late. Michelle said to me “I have just noticed your ring`s on your finger does that mean you Two are engaged”? I smile look at Enrique and just nodded she hugged me and said “oh my god, congratulations your be having babies soon” I said “no not yet not for a bit i want to enjoy him for a bit longer” laughing ... Enrique said his goodbyes and we left the room and we went back to the hotel i was knackered, so tired Enrique said “you know you`ve not been well for so long i am getting worried about you” I laugh at him and say “i am just tired babe, don’t you worry about me” But deep down i know he was a little worried.

Awwwww, so sweet, soooo sweeeeeeeeeet. Lovely episode, June.Very well told, I have these butterflies in my belly.
I have to talk to Joanne, Michelle and Bex. I'm not sure if we can be satisfied with the tiny roles we play. But I did love the way he looked at me and said it must be love. Sighhhhh. And that kiss again, this time he liked it too, so I don't know yet .... I never give up hope. LMAO
