A Question On Learning Spanish at My Age . . .
I know it's a bit late in life to try to become bilingual but hey, you never know until you try, right? So what if I'm in my forties; I love learning. So . . .
Do you tend to get better results with classes at a local community college (which I can get fairly cheap as I live in the county the college is in) or Rosetta Stone-like programs or a combination of both? I'm thinking both might be the best - Rosetta to start and then classes, which would give me partners to practice with. Either that or get the Rosetta and teach my sons the language along with me . . .
My goal is to eventually get enough mastery to take a specialization in Medical Spanish, which the local community college teaches. I want to get my MSW and become a patient advocate for the elderly and I figured this would be a fantastic second language to pick up!

Hi, it is never too late to learn a language.. You will need motivation and a lot of effort :)

Hey, Im 20 and I started Spanish 2 years ago at college (In Ireland) but theres a lot of older students in my class, and some find it easy, some find it harder, it definitely depends on the person themselves and not age! Theres a 65 year old woman in my class, and she gets on fine haha
