You're right Ines. I dont believe in those awards anymore either as I think they are all 'fixed'. Its become more of a popularity contest than anything else. Our baby scored much better with his Euphoria CD and Worldwide tour than anybody else. No matter what, Enrique will always be our #1 artist of all time!

I was so sad too he did such a cool job, after such a cool year of sharing with many..and that damn song leak on top of it all....and he is so wonderful to his fans as much as humanly possible and navigates this business with kindness and sharing, so darn glad J-lo went to him and kissed him..like when Beyonce' had so much class when that new young gal got pushed off the stage on MTV..the one that won last night, having a brain freeze,,,
What God and millions of people see and know...is his authenticity, his being who he is, ( yes i am sure he has failed at times..is human) but truly his way is not putting on airs, being truly in spiritual joy and ectasy almost singing to and WITH his fans,,this is his goal always, to understand he is the artist in the moment but he is the one that is one of many giving joy in and with the music in his concerts,,,just making a bright spot in our lives with wonderful songs of life, romance, ups and downs of love with his fans. He is really very young and yet has done this 15 years...and won 5 times wow, from his fans thrills, joys and votes..and still consistent in his career..a damn hard one.
Loosing always is yucky,,I am sure..always the winner takes all,,,but in this industry that kiss from the winner was heart felt, there is a bond and share mentality I notice especially among the Latin singers that Enrique spreads out to many others like last night..he knows winning and loosing is a part of it and if you are there and doing it..you have won..thanks for being such a humble cool role model Enrique,,,sorry I did not see you get it this year..but damn you were good in all ways singing Tonight up there and we LOVE you...Sarah..from Montana.

Could you all write personal letters to my family telling them what a good soul I am..LOL..that i am a good nice gal..i have relaxed here and been myself and there are sooo many sweet good people here..thanks and you all do as well..lots of E's integrity spills over into his fan types..i am so grateful for all of us..we can send him Thanksgiving prayers...whether not he celebrates...God Bless you all..i am thankful for your and your love, respect and kind words always..HUGs..Sarah, Auntie Sarah, and Hot Fabulous Fifties Sarah..LOL..all three..lol...S.

PIt had a huge year as well. I could honestly see him winning but J lo? She would be the last person I would have guessed. Without Pit J lo would not have a had a hit song. grrr. Pit's fans are furious too that he did not win. I lost all respect for these awards when the changed the format and make the fans vote. There are already so many of those kind of awards why did the have to ruin the AMAs as well what is next the Grammys? This award no longer awards artists for merit success and talent. It is was sitll the old way Enrique would have seven AMA awards on his mantel but maybe not Pitbul may have won this year he had many songs on the charts but I really would not have minded that as much. He is talented and can actually speak Spanish.
