Cancún, Quintana Roo.- Si de calentar el verano se trata, ¿qué mejor pareja que Enrique Iglesias y… Jennifer López?
Ambas estrellas latinas están ultimando detalles para la gira de verano que harán por distintas ciudades de Estados Unidos.
“Estamos planeando la forma de hacerlo, no sabemos las ciudades, sería alternar su show con el mío. Vamos en el proceso de definición de cómo será”, dijo Iglesias, en exclusiva.
Pese a que declinó revelar más detalles, pues todavía están en el proceso de concretar ciertos aspectos, el equipo de trabajo del hijo de Julio Iglesias confirmó que es un hecho que será una mancuerna muy atractiva para los fans de los dos.
El intérprete de I Like It, quien actuaría anoche en el Moon Palace Hotel y Resort de Cancún, expresó su opinión acerca de la expareja de Marc Anthony.
“Hay muy buena química con ella; es un encanto, es trabajadora, luchadora, me hace mucha gracia, porque lo que es en el mercado en inglés comenzamos a la vez (a mediados de los 90), en la misma época”, comentó el novio de la ex tenista rusa Anna Kournikova.
De hecho, ambos grabaron el tema Mouth 2 Mouth el año pasado, y ninguno esperaba que se filtrara en la red, pues no terminó de convencerlos.
“Esa canción no tenía que darse a conocer, no estaba planeada para ser sencillo… y bueno, se dio a conocer”.
El madrileño, de 36 años y quien continúa con el Euphoria World Tour 2012, suena actualmente en la radio con I Like How It Feels, además de que acaba de hacer con la cantautora Dev una colaboración en la canción Naked.
“El resultado de las ventas del disco Euphoria (más de 2 millones de copias en todo el mundo) es un trabajo de equipo. Me alegra que a la gente le siga gustando.
“Siempre estoy componiendo, siempre estoy viendo qué cosas nuevas puedo hacer, y no sé si este año haya álbum (en estudio) nuevo. Estoy planeando una canción para el verano; si se da, será nueva, muy nueva”.
Enrique Iglesias externó su alegría porque volverá a cantar en su natal Madrid el próximo 4 de mayo, después de más de una década sin presentarse ahí.

Gira en EU? The title of this topic made me think EU=Europe, but obviously in Spanish it is Estados Unidos= USA.
I still hope he will come to Europe too. Little chance, when I see this news.

Don't support the idea of them getting on a tour together..don't really like her..I don't totally understand his comment about Mouth2Mouth..I mean it was meant to be on the re-issue right ? Not like that they just recorded it but they were not satisfied with the result..? And he says he plans to come out with a song for this summer when he's not releasing a new album..not sure what would be up with that..?

Agree with you silentocean.. I don't like this idea :/ .. He has to stop promoting Euphoria, that era is over !! .. Another tour for it?? That's ridiculous..
About the new single for the summer... I don't like it :/ .. I think he should make an album, a great album, with 12 songs, and stop releasing just "singles" .. That's just for sale :/
I really hope he release a new full album this year :(

I think the main reason why Enrique is planning a summer single might be that the new album won't come out before 2013 (he said it himself in the interview). That way he can remain present on the music market ...

I feel like it's just a trend in the music business these days to do a lot of duets and tour a lot. Probably that is what is the most profitable thing to do and record companies might be pushing these things. Also with Itunes these days, artists can just release 1 song instead of releasing a whole album. That should be a lot more profitable too, since they don't have any production costs then.
So I understand why Enrique is continuing touring now.

Well yeah they probably will be releasing another song since he'll be spending his year touring it seems, but wouldn't it have been a better idea to have gone with the "Reloaded" then ?! It was said he was too tired to promote it.. but it's not tireful to do pretty much a complete tour in Mexico and (possibly) the US ?!

I see your point Silentocean, but the release of Reloaded was planned when he just finished a long period of touring and at that time I think it would have been too much for him. He did look exhausted and in need of vacation, which is only logical after a long period of traveling. So looking at it from that perspective it was just the wrong timing for Reloaded, I guess.
But never say never, since he's gonna tour this year and releasing a single song, they might still do it after all.
