"Dirty Dancer" Single Version or "Dirty Dancer" Album Version ??

I want to take your opinions about the new single "Dirty Dancer" with Usher & Lil Wayne....
Did you like it?
Or the album version with Usher was better?
What do you think about it?

I think the album version was better. In fact it was a great song! I've always wished it to be released as a single or at least a video clip would be good for a quality song like that!
But when i heart the new single version...I was just disappointed!
It's not bad...But the old one was better!

Well I have to agree that I like the album version more than this one, although it's not bad either..I don't really understand why this version had to be made, I guess to enhance the chance that people will actually buy it, since a lot of fans do already have the album version, but now when they want to have the new version they will have to buy it off iTunes..so that makes more money for Enrique and the record company ultimately..Don't really understand also why Lil' Wayne is on there, it would also have been good without him..am very glad that Nayer girl's voice was not included in the actual radio edit as I think she did not contribute anything to the song..

Yeah you got a good point about trading way of it. You're totally right about it.
I've found a comment on youtube about this song, it's the best comment about this song and all this changings about Enrique's music. Just read it :
"i think it's sooo mainstream, i kinda miss when you did songs like "do you know" and " bailamos" now all you ever sing about is sex and dirty girls.. kinda makes you a guy i only remeber as the guy who used to be himself, not just some mainstream horny dude who's just following the flo, i heard this quote from a movie once don't remember the name but: " why do you try to blend in, when you're born to stand out?" i miss the old enrique, just my opinion."

Understand what the comment is about and I can't help but feel that way sometimes too, I've been thinking about it as well..but those other songs mentioned were also destined for the mainstream market, so no difference there..As a fan I know he does not sing only about girls and sex nowadays (the Spanish songs are so, so different) but if you are a common music listener you might get that impression and maybe that image gets stuck now somehow with these people (after three singles with more or less the same intention) and it would be kind of sad if it was that way since he's so much more (and capable of so much more) than that..

Album Version of course ! The new version is not good.. I think its unnecessary :/ and I miss the old Enrique too..
