Enrique plz stop kissing grandma's on stage!!! It makes us sick!

I've been a fan of Enrique for more than 10 years now but tonight at his concert in Hasselt I was really dissapointed. The concert was great until the 2 last songs... Enrique asked a grandma of 65+ on stage to sing Hero for her en gave her a french kiss.It was disgusting, I wish I hadn't seen this.
Now is my question: why does he do this?! Does he think it will make him popular? It makes him look like a real slet. In my eyes he should be smarter than that.
I heard a lot of girls think like this so I am not the only one. So I am afraid if he keeps on doing this, many fans will not go to his concerts again (and that would be ashame 'cause I think the concert was great, except for that one song that ruined my whole evening...)

I totaly agree with u!!!!Every fan deserve to receive a kiss from Enrique doesn't matter the age!!!!it is possible to be a woman of 59 years old and t love much more Enrique than a girl of 20 years...and why the woman should not receive a kiss from his favourite??

Give the guy a break! he just personified WOMEN - he doesn't care about the age, isn't grandma a woman too ??i think we need to love the guy for doing that. It needs a heart to kiss someone of that age. Not everyone can do it.
His music is great, his tours are great, he is out there making his fans happy,
If you are his true fan you will not let this ruin your passion you have for his music
his songs are AWESOME ! HE IS 'AWESOME'

IT IS NOT ABOUT THE AGE!!! I absolutely don't care if the hero-girl is 2 or 110 years old, I find it sweet too how he invites every kind of women!
It is about HOW he sings Hero... his sexual behaviour (I dont know how to put it but you know what I mean) doesn't match the sweetest song ever. He should do it in a sweet and cute way, in stead of a cheap way.
But if you don't agree with me, fine. Its good he has found an audience with the same (lack of) values! I just find it a lost chance to put his show on a higher level...

well..every one here can say what he thinks and what he wants...this is ur opinion...I respect ur opinion, I don't jugde u, and I am nobody to do that...but I have other opinions....I not agree with u..I have my own ideas and opnios regarding Enrique..
will u answer to suff's question : "If he picks you as his 'herogirl' would you say no for french kiss??"

I really don't wanna judge anyone. As I said before: I respect every opinion. And I certainly don't feel better than anyone else (if I made you think this I am sorry, it's the last thing I want).
All I wanted to say is: as long as Enrique feels nice behaving this way and you all like this, perfect! Then everybody is happy. Then you share the same values (as in 'then you are on the same level and he gives you exactly what you want').
But I won't buy a ticket to his shows again unless he concentrates on his music a bit more. Because afterall his music is great (!!!!!!!) and that is where the focus should lay on, right?
(And yeah he doesn't mean it in a bad way, it's hard to make everybody happy, I know...)

I think he performs 'Hero' in the same way it's performed in the music video....though he has to adapt it to stage. It's got nothing to do with Sex....the kissing part is the romance, safety and love that the song is trying to convey. He touches the top of the chest - not the breast. Look carefully and you will see.
I don't think he has made this a cheap performance. He has made someone feel really special for 3 or 4 minutes during the song and made them happy for the rest of the day/evening.
It only becomes cheap when 'Hero Girls/Boys' react badly to it afterwards and sell their story to the highest bidder (think that happened at the Jingle Bells Ball)
Also becomes cheap when the Hero Girl/Boy acts cheap on stage (look at the Newcastle Show)

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them any less moral than you. You have no right to judge anyone, just the same as no one has the right to judge you. You can't start a discussion without expecting people to have completely different opinions to you. I respect your opinion without judgement and you need to do the same for everyone here.

The focus should lay on the music, that's right! But your eyes also want to see something;). And during Hero, he sings also, so the focus is still on the music!;) If you do'nt look to the stage during Hero, you hear an amazing song! And when you look to the stage, you see an amazing artist, with an very, very, very happy fan! And I don't find it 'cheap' that he give several fans an french kiss, that's showing his love for his fans! It's amazing! And I ask again; would you say no if Enrique puts you on stage & want to give you a french kiss????

I agree with Saff's comment on enrique being spontaneous..
and for the fan, im sure the whole moment is too magical to even realise whats happening lol
I still think french kissing (on stage) is not necessary to show his love though..its special..even otherwise..
having said that.. the issue is not something that offends me.. its not so big that id stop admiring him or going to his concerts! =D
I lovee the way he values his fans, there are very few celebrities who are like that... soo down to earth!
I think overall, he is so amazing (and drop dead gorgeous and so sexy... he is just so fine! lol) .. that to me, this bit, is ignorable.

Wow, what a discussion for nothing. A performance is and stays a performance. And if Enrique wants to kiss someone... why not? He's also an actor remember... And who he kisses doesn't matter at all.
I was there and I liked the show from beginning till the end. That's all what matters to me.

What difference does it make anyway how old you are?
You never lose the need to be loved I guess and Enrique appeals to all ages.
The fact that he is not ageist makes him even more endearing.
Bet this lady never thought she would get picked in a million years, good on you Enrique!

I didnt wanna argue. I didn't wanna offend anyone. I didn't wanna change Enrique.
All I wanted to do was let his crew know that there are people who think he crosses the line sometimes on stage. What is wrong with that? Everybody may say his opinion right? Thats what a forum is made for.
Now it seems like I am the only one who thinks this way but I heard many people at the concert saying this. They just don't make an effort to say it out loud here. And don't understand me wrong, ofcourse I know Enrique is old enough to do what he wants and for my part he can kiss/ marry/ sleep with a million women or men, but just not on stage. I only started this topic 'cause I was dissapointed in him last sunday, I thought he was more classy and less cheap (in MY eyes). I was so sad I couldn't sleep and wanted to write it down to clear my head.
I know I repeat myself but there are still ppl who understand me wrong. And to those who go on about the age-issue, please read the topic completely, I never said age or gender made a problem.
I know its nice to chat about the most beautiful parts of Enriques body/personality and the dreams you had about him but I find it nice sometimes to talk about other things too eventhough 'they don't change peoples life'.
But I think I made my point a looong time ago already. And you know what, my first dissapointment is over. I said what I wanted to say but now its finished for me.

I think that your quote above is quite clearly what has offended some of us more mature ladies!
Enrique is a first class entertainer and he never fails to deliver to his fans.
The fact that he can engage with women of all ages is clever marketing too dont you think?
