for who wants to visit Madrid here are some information.........

To visit the most important places in madrid the tourist bus is the best solution there are 2 routes: route 1 is History Madrid, Route 2 is Modern Madrid ,the great thing is that you can hop on and off the bus whenever you like...Whilst you are on the bus you can to listen to an audio guide that tells you all about the important buildings, streets etc..in total there are 29 different stops. You can buy tickets on the tourist buses (€24 for 2days.....every day 9 am–10 pm ) A good place to start is the Plaza Mayor,in the heart of old Madrid ;)) then museums Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen,´´The Palacio Real´´/Royal Palace,Almudena Cathedral,squares and streets: Paseo del Prado & Paseo de la Castellana, Puerta del Sol, Gran Via(shopping;)Templo de Debot,Park El Retiro (Palacio deCristal)Puerta de Alcala,Neptuno fontain,Cibeles fontain,Plaza de toros las Ventas(coridas)Atocha Railway station , Santiago Bernabeu Stadium (is the stadium of Real Madrid) ,Teleferico cable cars with fantastic views ,here is the link http://www.teleferico.com/ ,Faunia Nature Park ,Places to visit nearby: El Escorial(is amazing),for fun Park Warner http://www.parquewarner.com/ .....In Madrid are many good restaurants but a good area to eat is Mayor Square......check this www.esmadrid.com

Enrique said last night he was nervous about Madrid as he hasnt been to his hometown for 12 years, I am sure it will be sold out & he will get the roar of the crowd ever....

Damn, that sucks. I mean not that you met each other but about the luggage. Hope it will arrive somewhere today. But awesome that you met and yeah ... when you do meet another fan you know from the forum or Facebook or Twitter or what ever ... it always feels like you know each other already for a long time. Isn't that wonderful ?

Hi all. Had a busy afternoon sight seeing with Trudie, what an awesome lady she is. Madrid is beautiful, been taking lot's of pics. Well, I had to go sight seeing in the same clothes I left Australia in, I was not impressed at all. I could not even buy a few pieces of clothing as we didn't realize it was a public holiday here today. The great news is, my luggage finally arrived about an hr ago, that about 29hrs after I did : ( I have to say It feels fantastic to be in clean fresh clothes again!!!!

June, you have no Idea how happy I was that they found my luggage. Not only did it have my clothes in there, but my fone charger and my fone has been flat since I arrived, my camera charger, your story, gifts. You name it and it was in my bag. most of all, I just wanted clean clothes...lol

I have been so excited about Friday for ages and I'm even more excited I have my concert clothes to wear now...: ))

Aaaaah, so nice to read the fanmeeting already started off great! Have a lot of fun ladies and tell us what we cannot miss if we go sightseeing on saturday and sunday!! Superhappy that your luggage finally arrived, must be such a relieve to have your own stuff back Jennifer! Enjoy the city girls and try some of that yummy spanish food too!!
