I got a 3 night package at the Fountainbleu in Miami for Mother's Day and tickets to the Ultimate Pool Party!!!  Yeah!

Who all is going and does anyone know what I can expect while there?

How far is it from the airport?

What part of Miami is that hotel?

Did you win one of the pool party packages or did you buy a package?

I played the contest very seriously.  I probably captured 95% of the keywords.  I shared the keyword with about 10 of my friends. And out of the millions playing the contest each hour one of my friends won from getting the keyword from me.  And is not inviting me.  I was bummed.  I was so happy when he won then he invites a friend who doesn't even like Enrique.  Oh well.  You know what they say about karma.

Regarding your questions, Fontainbleau is too fab.  You're going to have a great time.  I've stayed there many times.  Here's what you need to know.  It's located North (Quite end) of South Beach.  Crazy part of South Beach is the lower 100-1300 Collins Avenue.  Hotel offers valet in-out parking, my last stay (last years Enrique concert) $36/day.  Probably higher now.  Be prepared to rent a car if you want to get out and about. Food at Fontainbleau is VERY VERY expense.  For value meals you'll have to leave the hotel.  Carabbas Grill is around the corner.  It is walking distance.  The hotel also has direct access to the boardwalk which is amazing for running or walking.  You can walk it all the way down to South Beach but i'ts like a 3 mi walk one way.  Be prepared to shell out major $ to go to the LIV nightclub in the hotel.  It is one of the hottest nightclubs in America right now.  And the bouncers and door personel are obnoxious a$$holes.  They get to select who goes in etc.  Most of the fun shopping is on lower Collins Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.

Thanks Max for all of the info!  I did not win a contest.  I am Canadian and the contest was not open to me.  My husband bought it for me for Mother's Day and I so can't wait!   Are you from Miami?  

The tips will be great, if you have anymore I would love it!

I see.  We'll that's a great Mother's Day present.  No I live in San Antonio but I have been to Miami several times for concerts (Enrique & Madonna).  It is my favorite dest for concerts and I always stay at the Fontainbleau.  It's an amazing property.  You will love, however if your on a tight budget as I said meals at FB are very pricey so you will have to leave property for some of your meals.  But that's when you go to south beach busy segment and eat at many of the sidewalk bistros.  People watching galore.  But ALSO be very cautious at South Beach.  Alot of junkies and methheads.  Just use common sense and you'll be okay.

Is the only way to see Enrique's current home on the water?  What is his current address?  Is he still living in the house he has always lived in?  I know they are building a new home but don't think it is done yet.
