It's ok to be gay
What a great show in Los Angeles on Thursday night. When you invited that guy up on stage, flirted with him, did shots with him, danced with him, it said to tens of thousands of people that it's ok to be gay. You're a hero Enrique!

I really love that too..my first special friend was trying not to be gay..this was very hard and we were in an impossible place to be gay and he was trying not to..did not work ,,I felt the trying too hard....we worked it out..my shock his sincere and deep sorrow for doing that to me....saw each other several times over the next decade to affirm and finish healing things..I sometimes think we were so close friends in a past life we were meant to connect a while...it is so hard to be gay or lesbian still in many places..i love hoe E just is about kind affirming that every soul is special and worthy and attractrive in their own way..he just has a relaxed deep kindness and understanding affirmation of people and all ways..that are on a equual respect and good humored place..everyone I know tht has met him in all those fast confusing situations says he has a way of leaving no one out..handles interruptions.gets back to whoever he was talking to..he really has a way of not missing a beat and making love songs truly for ALL..that are very applicable..YUP..he is a hero and this is one of my favorite things about him..took my friend years to heal it all..and if it had been ok in beginning I would have not been hurt...I am ok now..really but it is just my way of saying why this means so much to me as a straight woman...Sarah..great comment Mark Prior..well said...

Another reason I love him! I am a member of my school's GSA club(gay straight alliance) and I tell people at the club that Enrique loves his gay fan community. The fact is, he is comfortable about his sexuality that he doesn't care that he flirts with a gay man, no different from flirting with a straight woman. At the end of the day he knows he is straight, unlike most homophobics. I wish he could attend a Gay parade or a conference, a lot of people don't know he supports Gay people.

Jenny hi..if I may be so bold.....he is not gay..he is just accepting..and has a great following of all .....no matter where they are at... gay, straight, old , young, fat , thin, a little off the wall, he let's God decide on that....you have to be pretty "out there" for Enrique to distance himself or judge or not be thrilled to wave to you or have you up to his audience participation..he has the least wall of fear and judgement of any artist I have seen..all are honored and made to feel special...at his concerts...Sarah

You either are still young or misinformed. And no he is not gay, he has brought up gay men up on stage because he sees his fans as equal. He supports gay people and his gay fan community. Plus, you can say it's not okay to be okay, it's your opinion, but don't cast judgement upon others since you can't do that either, in your religion.
