The pair of performances will co-headline a massive world tour, which will include 60 dates across the globe - with venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia lined-up for the tour. It'll be Enrique's first world tour since he pulled out of Britney Spear's stint as he was unhappy as being billed as a support act. [Lopez] is very excited about Enrique joining the tour." Lopez's latest album, 'Love?', came out last year and hit #5 in the US and #6 in the UK. i hope thier coming to australia particular coming to brisbane to do a concert
I'm not sure that Aus will be included or not Angela - I would really love to think that we are and I think that ticket sales would go through the roof. For me, it can be Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne - All these States are easily accessible for you & me both.
Not going to get my hopes up though : D

The "American Idol" judge is set to launch a 60-date world tour in South America in June and will be joined by her "Mouth 2 Mouth" duet partner Iglesias. A source close to Lopez told Celebuzz she "is very excited about him joining the tour."
"This will be a huge tour, complete with a lavish set, full band and team of dancers," the source added.
While concert promoter AEG has not confirmed all dates, Lopez and Iglesias will reportedly visit the United States, South America, Europe and Asia this summer after this season of "Idol" concludes. The tour will snake through Venezuela, Chile, Argentina and Brazil before returning to the U.S. for a planned second round of production rehearsals with shows beginning here in mid-July.
Though she went on a brief tour with then-husband Marc Anthony in 2007, Lopez is looking at this trek as her first-ever full-on world tour. "I did a little minitour with Marc right when I was pregnant [with twins Max and Emme]," Lopez told Ellen DeGeneres last year. "We just did, like, 20 shows. But I've never really done the world tour thing."
Permalink Reply by Ingrid on April 18, 2012 at 4:24am I just don't get! Why should Enrique team up with JLo for a world tour, when he has no problem selling out arenas on his own! It just doesn't make sense... Since when two artists go on a full-blown tour together? I really don't get it! He definitely should bring his Euphoria tour back to Europe and elsewhere but why sharing the stage with someone else, being as successfull as he is...
I have to agree with you Ingrid - I am finding it quite unusual for two World known and successful artist to be teaming up together & sharing a stage in a World tour - It's not something I can say I remember ever happening in Aus with any of Australia's top artist - Anyone that tours here always has a support act but never actually shares the stage such as J Lo & Enrique are doing - I dont think it's a bad thing by any means as I think they will make quite an impact together as they do on their own as well - But yeah, I am a bit baffled as to how & why this came about- Would be interesting to have answers to these questions : )
Permalink Reply by silentocean on April 18, 2012 at 5:48am To me it seems you have to look like this: since she never went on an extensive tour before, she needs to enlist other acts to ensure she has a few sellouts and she can play arenas..for example, somebody like Enrique who has proven to be a very successful touring artist last year..why Enrique is even willing to consider to do this since he does not have an album or something else to promote as of now.. I don't get it either (she will be releasing a GH album this summer supposedly)..I don't think he will be doing all the dates- I think he mentioned last month they were in talks to just do the US leg- possible even with Wisin/Yandel as well (they will have a new album out as well)..
The fact is, these days co-headlining tours seem to be necessary in the US, if you want to play the bigger venues..and let's not forget he did one of his own last year with Pitbull.. although I'm not totally sure if they were both co-headlining since it did look Enrique was the principal artist there..I wonder if this is indeed happening they will be gearing it towards the Latin market or will try to aim for the mainstream more..?
Hi Silent - Yes, I do believe in part it's to boost J Lo's exposure more and being her 1st World tour who better than World famous Enrique Iglesias to give her the boost that she needs. Enrique's Euphoria World tour in Aus had Pitbull as the support act and a great choice at that -
The rest of what you have said makes a lot of sense, I just feel Enrique does not need to take that path right now - But he would'nt be doing it unless he gains from it as well I suppose : )
Oh, and I say heading toward the mainstream market more..lol
Permalink Reply by Quizasman on April 18, 2012 at 12:45pm I like the idea of J-Lo and Enrique in concert together, but you know why she is having Enrique there cause he can fill the seats, if it were just her and anyone else I don't think they could sell many tickets.
This looks to be a great concert, I hope they do many shows in the US so we all can see how great it is..... I can't wait for it to happen.....

Permalink Reply by silentocean on April 19, 2012 at 11:44am Yes it Tracey, am assuming it will be a pretty complicated thing to organize, if it will happen after all..
Which announcement ? Have not heard it yet? So will something be coming out of it today ? Remember MTV also published that other story while nothing has even been confirmed yet..
