Latin stars Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias will hit the road for a joint summer tour that brings them to the Target Center Aug. 1.
Tickets are priced from $129.50 to $29.50 and go on sale at noon May 18 through Ticketmaster.
The tour takes place just as both Lopez and Iglesias are enjoying career comebacks. After establishing herself as an actress, Lopez launched a pop-music career in 1999 with a series of hit singles that included "If You Had My Love," "Waiting for Tonight," "Love Don't Cost a Thing" and "Jenny from the Block." Her 2007 album "Brave" flopped at retail, however, and Lopez parted ways with her label. After taking a gig as a judge on "American Idol," Lopez relaunched her music career and scored a worldwide hit with last year's "On the Floor."
Iglesias has followed a similar career path, striking big with turn-of-the-century singles like "Bailamos," "Rhythm Divine" and "Hero" and then coming back in 2010 with a new series of hits, including "I Like It," "Heartbeat" and "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)."
Lopez and Iglesias can even thank the same guy -- Miami rapper Pitbull -- for appearing as a guest on their smashes "On the Floor" and "I Like It."
Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin and Yandel will open. Largely unknown on pop radio, the pair have hit the top of the Latin charts with singles like "Pam Pam," "Sexy Movimiento," "Abusadora" and "Gracias a Ti."
