why julio say something like that i don`t understand what he means 

he has good intentions or not

 

why enrique is a target for him he is not even from his generation!!!

This is not a debate for me, I don't like the man for the life he has lived.  Yes he is a wonderful singer, but to me that is all.  It seems he as also not improved much as a parent over the years either, if he still feels the need to make comments such as this.  What would be the point of saying something like this?  Enrique's Dad never was supportive of him in an emotional or financial way, Enrique even said this himself years ago.  I wonder what reason could be that so many years went by without them speaking, and the song Quizas???   The 1998 Grammy's come to mind.....like I said....whether he was joking or not when he made this comment, to me that is inappropriate and not necessary, to me a good parent would not feel it necessary to make "such jokes".

I agree with everything you said, Inked by Enrique. Enrique is known for never saying anything bad about anybody and that includes his father. Sometimes I think Julio is jealous of his son's career, even though he doesnt have any reason to be because he is successful himself and he has his own fans. I am sure he is proud of Enrique but sometimes he has a strange way of showing it---like NEVER having attended one single concert of Enrique's...now that's sad!

I agree with Jen and Wanda...I've seen video of the 1998 Grammy's and I don't think he was joking at all during that...very sad for Enrique.  It seems like he disguises his cheap shots at Enrique as "jokes".  Kudos to Enrique for being the better man and leading such a humble and admirable life!  In my opinion, Julio isn't even on the same level of comparison to Enrique in so many areas...songwriting, producing, singing, performing, and of course looks...Enrique is tops...just sayin!

Wanda -  Agree...seems to me jealousy is a part of it...what other reason would there be that he would not attend any concerts all these years?  I just can't believe this.  Is this not something a "proud" parent would do?  It is very sad.  The family dynamics remind me of MJ and his father and mother.  They both had difficulties with father and mother was loving and supportive.  The both turned out to be beautiful, kind and compassionate people.  Thank goodness for mothers!!  :D  I think it is human nature to desire approval, and none more so from your parents, now matter how old you are or how bad your relationship is, the desire is always there.

Yes she has! In Madrid and most recently in London a few hours ago..She is very proud of her son..

Absolutely!.....here is a photo of her, Enrique's abuella (grandmother), sister Ana attending the VIVIR concert way back when.

Yes, Isbelle is probably the proudest mother in the world!!!...and just look at his little sister Ana (well, she is not so little anymore...lol)...I love the way she is tugging on him and looking up at her big brother....aawww.....so sweet!
