Madrid Concert
Wow, what a weekend we all had! It's taking me a week to recover! Madrid is just beautiful and seeing Enrique for a 3rd time on his Euphoria tour was just the icing on the cake. It was really so special getting to see him perform in his home town with his beautiful family present. All of my lovely friends in the line up, I had the privilege of meeting at the VIP event in Cardiff, UK last June (2011). One year on, and we were reunited in Madrid to see Enrique once again. A wonderful bunch of very special people, can't wait until the next time!!!!! Love you all xxxxxx

Glad to read you girls had so much fun! We, Dutch fans had an amazing weekend in Madrid too! Too bad we didn't get to meet but it was hectic right? :) There will be a next time, I hope really soon!

Think I just missed you at the fan meeting at cafe 40 - I left at 3.30 and I think you Dutch VIP's all arrived just after!!! We had fab seats and yes was brilliant time - anyone going to Monte Carlo?!!!!

Maaike I think you timed it well - I missed the filming cos I had to go! VIP's as in I think we all did meet and greets last year haha......but you Dutch fans are legendary!!!!! Where did you all stay? Cardiff group were at the Convencion, I was at a small hotel in the centre as I stayed a bit longer... maybe we can all meet up next time!! Did you give your amazing cake to Fernando? xx

Hahahahaha, I thought you ment it like that but we were kinda "diva-like" in showing up so late LOL, we probably have taken over that habit from our main squeeze Enrique! :) Yes, I was very glad we didn't miss Yasha and his crew filming, we had such a blast during the fanmeeting and later that evening at the venue too! We stayed at Hostal La Nava, fairly close to the Palacio. We had an appointment with Fernando to hand over our cake and were hoping Enrique would show his face too lol, but later we learned he stayed at his mom's the night before the concert and we haven't seen him offstage at all....:) But everything worked out fine and our cake was taken to the venue by Fernando. Mission accomplished! Did you girls have VIP tickets and where were your seats?

Maaike we didnt have VIP tickets this time - our tickets were at the end of the catwalk and we managed to stand right next to the catwalk all night - so close when he came down there!!! Such a shame Enrique didnt surprise you but amazing you got an appointment with Fernando - he seems a really nice guy! Definitely mission accomplished!!!! I'm counting the weeks to Monte Carlo now!

Yes, he really is a very nice guy, always a pleasure to talk to him. We didn't have VIP either, but were standing at the catwalk too, felt a little sorry for the people who paid dearly for their vip tickets, but hey, then they should have organised it better right? Owwhh Monte Carlo is the next stop for you?? That''s great, at least you have something to look forward to and prevent you from slipping into that dreaded PED! :) Have fun preparing and counting down and keep us updated ok?

I will post photos after the Monte Carlo concerts!!! I think we were lucky with security in Madrid - we ran up to the catwalk and one security guy asked us very nicely to go back to our seats and we just smiled back and stayed where we were and he just wandered off and left us there - it did get a bit hot and very crowded so we moved round to the side of the catwalk and stayed there all night - great view!!! Think PED will hit me bigtime after Monte Carlo :( but its always nice to have one of his concerts to look forward to!!! Next tour I am definitely going to get to Holland and Paris so maybe catch you there!!!

Laura & Katie can be congratulated for the great pics of Enrique! Maaike your cake was phenomenal .... what happened with the Madrid VIP's then, you mention how poor the organisations was? It was a shame that we didn't get to meet but as you say we all had a hectic schedule. So pleased that Laura gets to go to 2 more performances this year. What a fab time we all had eh? Xxxx
