VIDEO OF My amazing minute with Enrique!!! VERY NICE TO HIS FANS! FOUND PICTURES!!!! UPDATED 8/21/12
Hi Everyone. I wanted to started this post by saying that I do realize how lucky I was last Friday night 7/20. First and foremost because Enrique allowed it to be all good. He could have totally made this into the worst night, instead I'm still floating on Cloud 100 (Enrique is so awesome that he puts you way above Cloud 9).
So it all began when I got my front row VIP tickets to see Enrique and JLo on 7/20. I paid A LOT for them, but I knew it would be worth it, seeing him so close. As far as I was concerned it was the closest I would ever get to him. The concert started and I was right up front, I swear I screamed so loud that Enrique actually looked my way a few times. I think we made some eye contact. He played a great set, and was awesome as usual. Well he started playing Escape, and I honestly felt a moment of panic set in...(my husband was kidding around with me all night and told me I should run on stage and hug him, so I said well you need to lift me over the barrier first). As he continued to sing Escape, I whispered into my husband's ear, "if you really were going to help me, it's now or never"....he instantly lifted me over the barrier and since the steps leading to the stage were about 2 feet infront of me, I ran up.....check out the two clips on YouTube. The one with the side view shows that after he hugged me, I was kind of unsure as to what to do....I was so happy with my hug, that I was ready to come off the stage, but then I asked him if I should stay or go,....not sure what his response meant but nonetheless if he was ok with me having an extra 30 seconds with him, who was I to complain.

I really don't think he was running from me like he was scared, but who knows what was going through his mind. I'm totally not a crazy dangerous person, and it's obvious by the end of the video that he realized this.
Security was AWFUL to both me and me husband and after 15 minutes, we were escorted out. They clearly told me that they don't work for Enrique, but for the arena, and they don't care what he encourages his fans to do. We never got to see Jennifer Lopez. They treated us like criminals, paraded us through the arena, and then took our pictures and ejected us from the arena. The security guard said I needed to pay for what I did.
Enrique was so amazing, and I'm sure if he was aware that his fans were being treated like that he would not have condoned it. I apologized several times, and explained how sorry I was, but to the security it made no difference. Oh well I'll always have my memories of Enrique, and thank God he treated me so good. His awesomeness has elevated him even more. He is a true star, and best of all a great human being. His kindness radiates from him, and even someone like me who is just a stranger to him, he made sure he helped me down and I was fine before he left me. Much love to Enrique....a truly good and kind person. Oh and that kiss he gave me.....all worth it. It was a cute kiss, nothing crazy just a little tap, but the fact that he did it without me even initiating it makes it even that more special.
I love the support that I got on this page, everyone has been awesome. I know how lucky I am to have video too. I'm still looking to see if anyone knows anyone who took actual pictures. I love what Ines did, and those are the only pictures I have, but I can't print. I want to frame a picture of us. Thanks so much. I know I keep thinking about this too and I just saw or read an interview (I can't remember which) where he says that the interaction and the spontaneous nature of his show is what he loves. I will never for one minute believe that he had anything to do with this. Lol unless he actually tells me that to my face :-)

Wow - Your a brave woman Nat - Happy that you were able to connect with E - That has to be every Enrique fans dream and you made it come true for yourself - Good for you gurl!! : ) Security sounds like they were aweful throwing you out because of it, if they had to do something a slight warning would have been sufficient, but wow, throwing you out is pretty tough.
So Enrique went on stage first this time, I have not been around the forum as much lately but I was under the impression JLo was performing 1st - Sounds like they are mixing it around a bit -
I have to say though, I watched the Bailamos video from that night as well when E stepped down into the crowd, I thought he was going to get swallowed up and eaten alive by his fans..
Be careful Enrique, we don't want to see you getting injured.
Hope all fans going to these concerts have a blast and am looking forward to reading more reviews. : )

what a adventure..!!! i am so happy for u...that u had the chance to meet enrique...to kiss and to hug him...dont care about the security guards...u spend 1min with enrique on stage this is a unforgetable experience...:))

He's so sweet, many 'stars' would have called the security in the beginning, but instead he gives you a moment for life, he's a REAL star!!
Too bad that you got kicked out, security people can be real bastards sometimes, i've experencied it myself. After the concert in Belgium I was talking to Gilmar and even Enrique was waving from behind the window, but then the security pushed us outside the arena.. But, luckily you have your moment! :D

Thanks Mary. It's been almost a month now, and I'm happy to say I've gotten over the security issue. I am still reliving my moment over and over. I felt a little bitter when I first wrote this post, but now I'm ok with it. What matters is that I had a great moment with E and that I have my husband. In fact I was glad that I saw the whole E show. A month later now, I'm over the JLo thing. Thanks for your comment. xoxoxox

I think it was a ridicilous treatment of you and your husband! But I was thinking a little bit, and actually I think the Security-guards did what they did to prevent, and to stop other girls from doing the same thing. (I'm sure they're aware of fans putting this on the internet, and that fans are telling others about it)
- If everyone knew that the price for doing it, only would be a warning, I think there would be a rush of girls on stage.
...I think Enrique can handle one "crazy" fan on stage once in a while, but I honestly don't think he'd like 20 every show, if you know what I mean?
Btw - Awesome you did what you did and nice that he gave you a kiss and all the hugs! Now you REALLY have got a nice memory to share with others. :)

I did realize that too, you are 1000% right, but it was just how mean they were. Yes I think it would be crazy if there were multiple girls storming the stage. Enrique's safety comes before anything and I truly believe that. He's a very kind person and he does take risks by allowing fans to get so close, but strangely that's what makes him so appealing. I think he has the belief in his fans that they're loyal and they truly love him. Thanks and yes the hugs and kiss were epic.

You're right about that. :) I think he's brave to just say "the cool thing about it, is that you never know what will happen. Your mic can go off, fans can run up."
- It's like - he WANTS things like that to happen, but again: Probably just ONE girl once in a while, and not several. :P
About the video: I really do hope it was for fun, that he ran away from you , HAHA, I just started laughing. :D

I'm not sure why he ran, but if you look at both videos you see that I stop and ask him if I should go or stay, and then he lifts his arms and I run over to him. I was very happy with just getting to hug him initially. There was no place for me to go after he initially hugged me. So I followed him a bit, but when he went on the catwalk, I stopped right there. I wasn't going to chase him, I was looking for my way to get off, but then he kept looking back and I was like what do you want me to do. In the end I wasn't expecting him to give me that little kiss either, so I think by the time we were both on the catwalk it was ok.
