Hi Everyone. I wanted to started this post by saying that I do realize how lucky I was last Friday night 7/20. First and foremost because Enrique allowed it to be all good. He could have totally made this into the worst night, instead I'm still floating on Cloud 100 (Enrique is so awesome that he puts you way above Cloud 9).
So it all began when I got my front row VIP tickets to see Enrique and JLo on 7/20. I paid A LOT for them, but I knew it would be worth it, seeing him so close. As far as I was concerned it was the closest I would ever get to him. The concert started and I was right up front, I swear I screamed so loud that Enrique actually looked my way a few times. I think we made some eye contact. He played a great set, and was awesome as usual. Well he started playing Escape, and I honestly felt a moment of panic set in...(my husband was kidding around with me all night and told me I should run on stage and hug him, so I said well you need to lift me over the barrier first). As he continued to sing Escape, I whispered into my husband's ear, "if you really were going to help me, it's now or never"....he instantly lifted me over the barrier and since the steps leading to the stage were about 2 feet infront of me, I ran up.....check out the two clips on YouTube. The one with the side view shows that after he hugged me, I was kind of unsure as to what to do....I was so happy with my hug, that I was ready to come off the stage, but then I asked him if I should stay or go,....not sure what his response meant but nonetheless if he was ok with me having an extra 30 seconds with him, who was I to complain.

I really don't think he was running from me like he was scared, but who knows what was going through his mind. I'm totally not a crazy dangerous person, and it's obvious by the end of the video that he realized this.
Security was AWFUL to both me and me husband and after 15 minutes, we were escorted out. They clearly told me that they don't work for Enrique, but for the arena, and they don't care what he encourages his fans to do. We never got to see Jennifer Lopez. They treated us like criminals, paraded us through the arena, and then took our pictures and ejected us from the arena. The security guard said I needed to pay for what I did.
Enrique was so amazing, and I'm sure if he was aware that his fans were being treated like that he would not have condoned it. I apologized several times, and explained how sorry I was, but to the security it made no difference. Oh well I'll always have my memories of Enrique, and thank God he treated me so good. His awesomeness has elevated him even more. He is a true star, and best of all a great human being. His kindness radiates from him, and even someone like me who is just a stranger to him, he made sure he helped me down and I was fine before he left me. Much love to Enrique....a truly good and kind person. Oh and that kiss he gave me.....all worth it. It was a cute kiss, nothing crazy just a little tap, but the fact that he did it without me even initiating it makes it even that more special.
I love the support that I got on this page, everyone has been awesome. I know how lucky I am to have video too. I'm still looking to see if anyone knows anyone who took actual pictures. I love what Ines did, and those are the only pictures I have, but I can't print. I want to frame a picture of us. Thanks so much. Finally, after a long time I`m reading your story!!
I have to tell you that you`re a very lucky woman that you got to see him from so close!! And in my opinion you did very well, to jump on stage but securities were very cruel to you, these f**cking bastards :P They just do their job but they should care about Enrique too, who is so nice to his fans!!! -.- Stupid people!!! -.-
When I get to see him, I`m gonna do the same, no matter what!! Watching your videos though, I saw that Enrique brought you to the securities, what happened exactly? I couldn`t understand that moment :/
I`m happy though that you got a hug and a kiss from Enrique, I`m looking forward for my turn too :P
One question: where are you from?

Hi Vivi, no he didn't bring me to the security. There was no where for me to come off the stage and we were at the end of the catwalk. He asked them to move something over so that I had something to stand on, that's when he helped me off and then gave me the kiss. Those security people never bothered me, I walked back to my seat and thought everything was ok. I watched the end of the show and everything. It was this one guard who was in the front and he got very mad because everyone was giving me high fives and congratulating me. Enrique was already off the stage and probably thought nothing of it. I now realize after reading many posts that people always run to the stage when he sings Hero. When I did this it was Escape right before he sang Hero. I'm from New York. When are you seeing him?

Now I got it better, I got what he did to you on stage :) This security you told me was stupid and annoying -.- That`s true, well not just when he sings Hero but also at other songs, example: the Hero-girl from Greece jumped on stage when he was singing Tired Of Being Sorry :P Enrique picked her, put her at the edge of the stage and sang Hero to her, so she was the Hero-Girl, do you wanna see the video? :) I`m not going to see him at all in this tour since I don`t live in the US!! :( Hope he tours South Europe, `cuz that`s where I live :)

Sure post it on this link. Sorry that you can't see him. I feel so lucky that we were able to see him. I would have loved to see him during Insomniac but I wasn't a fan then. I hope he comes soon and you can see him too. Security was annoying but not the guy you see on the video, it was the one who was in the front (you can't see him) and then later came over with other security guards who weren't even on the floor to take us away

I didn't understand the beginning...did she run on stage and then he kept her up there for hero? They're speaking another language on the video so it's hard to understand...wow lucky for her. Hahhaa thanks about the Univision site...I was so blown away to see those pictures...each day I feel so lucky about this whole thing.

Well, Enrique was singing Tired Of Being Sorry and she jumped on stage!! Securities tried to gather her but Enrique told them "it`s ok, it`s ok" and he sang Hero to her after he finished Tired Of Being Sorry :P You wanna see that too? They are speaking in Greek since it was a show that Enrique was a guest there :) But well, that`s the language that I speak :)
