My (late, ahum, I know, LOL) review and pictures from Rotterdam !

Here then finally my review and pictures from the concert in Rotterdam (Ahoy) on the 5th of May. I'm a bit late (I know ! Shame on me). But better late then never right ? LOL !

Well after not have slept enough hours cause I got home late from the concert in Paris just the day before, we got in the car and drove off to Rotterdam. First we picked up Miriam and then we were trying to figure out where Daniëlle was hiding. But finally we found her. Wooow ! That alone was already a hugh adventure. LOL ! Since the three of us had been in Paris the day before we couldn't get up early so we arrived late at Rotterdam. It was 4 pm and there were already some people waiting. The Dutch Insomniacs were already in front and they had held places for the three of us but the security didn't allow us to go with them. We tried it on another way but got banned again. Hmpf ! LOL ! We didn't liked it but oh well, we waited patiently in the queue for the doors to get open.

Oh what was really funny is that we were gonna make a happy birthday video of the Dutch Insomniacs so I got out of the queue and went to my friends who were in the front line. I stood outside of the fence so I could be on it too. Amany recorded it then. We blow on our whistles and such. It was so funny. Everyone said something to Enrique. Mine was : Hi Enrique, thanks for coming to Belgium. Happy birthday and kisses to Fernandooooooooooo ! Hehehe ! Couldn't resist that last one. LOL ! Of course everybody had to laugh. Then I got back in the queue with Miriam and Daniëlle.

When the door opened we went inside. I waited for my two friends and then got in the hall. Who did we see first on stage ? Yep, Fernando. Hi hi hi ! Was so nice to see him again. I think he was filming or so and I said : Hola, que tal ? And he said back : Hola, muy bien ! All of a sudden I had fluffy legs. Hi hi hi ! Well then we went into the goldencirclebox. I saw the rest of the group standing at the catwalk so I went to them and stood behind them the whole show. Amany, Roos, Wietske, Priscilla, Mina, Joselien, Irene stood in the front row and on the second one there was me Hildeke, Miriam, Daniëlle, Agnes, … and some more.

It was awesome being there and having such a good place. Close to the stage and the catwalk. Awesome ! So we stood there for the show to begin. All of a sudden someone came on stage, put on some music and asked if we were in the mood. Na really ! Duh ! Of course we were. Enrique was gonna come. Dude ! Hi hi hi ! (just joking here). Now what can I say … there was Esmee again. I had seen her the day before and she really wasn't 'it' for me. And again she couldn't please me. She has a great voice. I'm not gonna deny that but I miss something. Not really my thing.

Then we waited some more till finally … yep … the lights went out. The curtain went up … and there he came out of the ground singing : Can you hear meeeeeeeeeee ! And if we could ! Oh my ! From the very first tone till the last one we all sang along. Every single word, every single sound, every single aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh and ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh … just everything. We had so much fun. Now Roos was holding a teddy bear which had a backpack on and in that backpack were some notes and pictures of all of us. I was in it too with my very first picture taken with Enrique outside the studio from 'Raymann is Laat'. It was taken two day's before my birthday (13 December) so I was so excited that they had put that picture of me and Enrique in it too. At a certain point Roos throw it on the catwalk and Enrique took it whit hem. So we were all like 'aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh'. Hi hi hi ! So funny ! We all went insane.

What can I say more then that the show was awesome ! The sounds, the lights, the band, … it was all incredible. I won't talk about each song cause already before me have done that and I would only repeat them. I loved it when he took an older couple (well not really old but older then 30 I mean) on stage, drank vodka with them (Gosh, I wish I could have gotten a shot of Vodka me self. LOL !) and then he threw the poor man on stage with the micro in his hands singing Purple Rain. The man was god smacked. LOL ! So funny to see. But it was perfect. Just cause that part is something he doesn't control. It's very natural. Each show it's different. Some give them totally on stage, some are shy … awesome !

Euhm, let me think what else I can say. Oh at a certain point the music stopped, Enrique stopped, Laura stopped … but the audience didn't and just kept on singing. Well at these moments you have to look at Enrique. You can see on his face how happy he feels. He's sooooooooooooooo great full to his fans. You can just see that. His eyes sparkle, that hugh smile on his face, his hands on his head … looking soooooooooo amazed. That's when you realize why you became a fan of this man. Cause he has loads of respect to his fans and shows it to them. I get goosebumps all over when I think about that moment.

He said that it was the best concert from the tour. Does he say that at each concert ? Nope ! He didn't say that in Paris the night before. I'm sorry for that Paris but there were some problems with the sound and all. I'm certain that he says it at many other concerts too. Of course. Why not. That means that the concert was awesome. As well for the fans as for Enrique as for the band as for Fernando as for Abel as for everybody who made it happen. Also for the guy's who have to build the stage and put it down again and have to go over to the next city or country. Without them no stage. So a hugh thanks to them is also in order here I think.

Oh the Hero girl. How can I forget her. LOL ! She was cute with her dress and her flower in her hair. But oh my, she was only fifteen. You should have seen and heard Enrique's reaction. Auw, so sweet ! Her mom was in the audience as well but nope, she didn't had a boyfriend. And we all know what Enrique says then : Well I'm gonna be your boyfriend for the next couple of minutes. LOL ! A dream for every fan … !
When the concert was almost over Fernando came by and of course they all started to yell at me 'Fernando is there, Fernando is there'. Hehehe ! So funny ! LOL ! So I put my head between Mina and Roos and screamed out : Fernandooooooooooo ! Hehehe ! And when he went away I even screamed : Te quiero ! Hehehe ! Oh my ! LOL !

Well all the people who know me just know that I like to laugh and have a good time and joke around. Why not ! Indeed ! LOL !

But back to the concert. After singing Escape it really ended. Something that you don't want cause you can listen for hours and hours to Enrique. See him on stage for ever. Longing for that one tiny little moment that he captures you. A moment never to forget. A treasure to cherish for ever. And so is his concert … a treasure to cherish for ever !
