My meeting with Enrique:)

Hi Everybody. I hope you all are doing well!! Sorry it took me long time to post the story of my first meeting with Enrique, but I was just recovering from E fever ,lol. Actually it still lasts but I write anyway,haha.

Well My Enrique "love" started when I was teenager about 14-15 years old. I think year was 1999 when I first heard Bailamos and I loved it. And then I watched the soapopera, Nunca de olvidare and he sang there:)

Over the years I listen to his music, bought his cd-s and continue cherish him. Untill 2007 when I first went to his concert, which was amazing. The best concert I had been so far. I had so much fun.

This march I went also to London O2 arena and concert was amazing and from there I got idea to but Vip to Cardiff Wales.

I was sooo excited about it althrough all my friends did not undestud me and said OMG so much money, only meeting him few minutes:) But I did not care about what they said.

So the day came closer and closer and finally was 10 of June. The day I have been waiting nearly 13 years. To finally meet him.

I woke up very early because I live in London and the concert was in Cardiff, Wales, so it took me about 4-5 hours drive to get there, depends traffic too of course.

It was kind of funny because I planned to leave about 9, in case traffic and parking problem. We had to be there by 5 p.m.

But some stuff happened in the morning and I finally get to the road about 11-ish:(

I got little nervous because for a moment I thought I am gonna be late. The ride went just fine and I was there about 4-ish. Then I could not find parking and parked bit further to arena.

Then I got outside and was raining, I had my high heel shoes on and had to run because was already between 4.30 and 5. Somehow I hurt my finger so it started to bleed a bit:(( I still don´t know how this happened though, maybe I hit it somewhere. Gosh!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I was running and I was there about 2 minutes before 5. Most people were there already and then came the Vip host Kiel, he was nice guy. Took us all inside to the Vip room. There I talked some lovely people for a bit but I was vey nervous, so could not really either eat or talk to people:D, haha

So first Kiel said that Enrique should be ready by 6.15 but I did not believe it because I always read in this site that he is always late:) Then he gave us our t-shirts, CD, and was just chatting with us and waiting textmessage, then we could all go downstairs.

I am not sure how many people there was but I think meet to him was about 27 or so, If i remember correctly.

Again we were waiting and I think about 7.30 Kiel said that he is ready. So we all took in the queue and went to see him. But there again we were waiting quite long time, standing there, but I guess nobody did not mind, atleast i did not:)

So and finally he came out. I was somewhere middle, almost in the end of the queue . And then was my turn, I think notthing did not prepare you for this moment. But I was not scared because I knew that he is wonderful guy. And I just walked to him and he was just there saying Hi, How are you and then It all went so fast. We made the picture and it was really good to hold him, haha. Then was very funny because one picture was made and then E looked toward videocamera and still his arm was around me and start to laugh and said ohh this is video, not picture anymore. I found it very funny, I think he got confused a bit.Then he gave me a kiss and I asked can I have hug. he smiled and hugged me really strongly. Awwwww, what a sweetheart I thought. And then was time to say bye. i did not want to leave but I had to.

Only thing what made me sad was that I could not give him my gift, it was only blue teddybear but still... Kiel took it and said he will give it to him, I quess because security reasons.

But anyway it was okay. Maybe next time I can give him directly;)

Then we went all back to Vip room and they took us back to arena.

I had very good seat and I had sooo much fun.

I did not liked this Hero woman, but there was notthing I could do about it. felt sorry for Enrique, poor him;((

Then concert finished and I walked back to my car, which was far and my legs were so tired and hurting because those shoes I was wearing. Finally I made it to car and drove home. I think I was back to London about 4 in the morning, because I had to go to work next day.

But I could not sleep because excitement I quess. And next day at work I think I was like dreaming, lol.

This was the story, I am really glad I came to this site and I have met so many lovely people here,

and I am happy I can share this with you guys, because my friends are not really interested about it. They ask yes but that is it too:((

Its okay, because I have all of you now. awww

GLAD you got to finally meet him!!! So wonderful, right?! Great pic too! Once you meet him, all you want is more, and yes, it's so hard to just walk away and leave!!! There will just have to be a next time, right?!

Yes, I met him first in Dec. 2010 and then in Miami on Feb. 2011, so awesome, incredible!!!!!!! After I first met him at Jingle Ball, I felt so devestated walking away, you're so happy you met him, yet there was this HUGE hole and feeling like, now what, that's it, I have to leave, he's gone!!!!??!?! The second meet was really just a photo, no conversation, hugs or kisses, boooo!!!! But I'll take any moment I can get with Enrique, the sweetest man there is and you just long to get to know him!!!!

Ohhhh, in 1999 I also have heard first about Enrique by Bailamos and I fell in love with this song but no for Enrique yet, `cuz I was so young.... :P And I know the telenovela Nunca Te Olvidare, it was also broadcasted here but I didn`t watch it, I just knew that Enrique was singing there!! I`m happy that you met Enrique after 13 whole years but I`m sad that you didn`t got to give him your present :S And I know how it feels after going to Enrique`s concert, you can`t sleep the night and wow, the next day you had to work?? Did you sleep at work then because you didn`t sleep the night?? And I know, I also have friends who aren`t really fans of Enrique, so I think this is the place for all Enrique`s fans to chat, it`s an Enrique fanclub, don`t you think so? :D

Well I worked about 6 hours next day, it was hard but I managed it.haha

you are from Greece right? Were you in the concert in last september when E was in Greece. And one girl jumped to stage and E was singing to her hero. I liked that so much, it was so nice and sweet. and this Girl was absolutely sweetheart and sooo brave:)) She is one of my favourite Hero girls:)

Yes, I`m from Greece, I was in Enrique`s concert in Greece but damn, I had a really bad time!!! :(((( About the hero-girl yes, she had the guts to jump on stage to hug Enrique, who would know that she would be his hero-girl!!! :P She was very nice but she seemed so shy!!! But all I know is that she was a very nice and kind girl, not like the hero-girl in Cardiff and that`s what it matters!!!! :)
