My Prudential Center Concert Story 9/24/11

What's up Enrique fans!? I have been so busy at college (Freshman Year) this past week that I have not posted my story from the Euphoria Tour on September 24 in Newark, NJ.

Me, my mom, & my younger sister arrived at the Prudential Center at 5:30, giving us about 30 minutes to wait before the doors opened. However, the doors did not open until around 6:20. We walked into the arena and found our seats (Lower level section 7, Row 3) that were amazing, and waited for about an hour until Prince Royce took the stage. The concert was supposed to start at 7, but did not until 7:30. After Prince Royce, Pitbull took the stage and had the entire audience singing and dancing. He sang hits like Hey Baby, Give me Everything, Rain on Me, I Know You Want Me, D.J. Got us Falling in Love, and covers like Party Rock Anthem & Move Shake Drop.

Then it was time for ENRIQUE! He arrived singing Tonight (both clean & dirty) and sang hits like Cuando me Enamoro, Dirty Dancer, & No me Digas Que No. Then he brought up a gay guy on stage to drink shots with. It was so funny/cute! I was really disappointed that Enrique did not sing The Ping Pong song or Escape. Those are two of his hits, & I was expecting him to sing those.

After singing about 8 songs Enrique goes back stage. After about 5 min, I spot him appearing from a B Stage directly in front of me. He tells security for "fans to do the f*** they want," and fans start running towards the stage. Being only 2 rows from the ground, my sister & I run right close to the stage. The song Hero starts playing & Enrique asks "who wants to come on stage with me tonight?" The crowd goes wild, and after scanning the audience, Enrique approaches my sister and asks if she wants to come up on stage with him. As he tries to bring her up on stage, security throws my sister down & Enrique walks away saying "C'mon man." After he brings up some other girl, and my sister was so upset knowing she could have been the Hero Girl. I told her it might have been awkward since she is only 14.

Anyway the concert was amazing and I can not wait till Enrique tours again! Do you think he will tour in 2012? xox

I was there and the concert started at 8:30 and was done by 11:30 pm .. I got there by 7 pm.

ahh no way, cant believe your sis got picked for hero girl and security killed it. wow...they can sure spoil the fun sometimes.

Oh so sorry for your sister..... the security has spoiled everything :(

I can understand that for her it was awful, Kike choose her but he couldn't do it only for security........

I'm 14 too..... so I know how it feels..... Like you aren't good for doing this, Enrique doesn't care about age...
