New album!
I recently read that the new album will have more rap collaborations which could be a good thing or a bad thing! What would you like to see on the next album? Who would you like Enrique to collaborate with? I personally think a Shakira collaboration would be pretty big in the latin market and a Christina Aguilera duet would be gorgeous! They've performed together in the past and I would love to see it! Enrique says that this album is taking him a while and even joked 6 YEARS (NOO!!!). I know he loves to perform but after his performance at the fair in Washington (Sept.16) I hope he takes a break to just write some songs! I wish him luck but what would YOU want on the next album?

I'd love to see him with Christina Aguilera... It would be perfect! And Shakira too! But I would be very happy for his solo songs, without any other artists...! I'd like to hear something like his older songs, something like "Somebody's Me", "Do You Know" and so on... Something touching as he had before, I love songs like "Ayer", "Why Not Me?" - wonderful songs... And what I love from his new things its "I Like How It Feels"...
So I will appreciate his solo songs for his new album... He is a wonderful songwriter and singer and I think he's better on his own...

Well I'm so glad that many others here also want Enrique to rock out! I've been saying this for years now. Yea the pop/dance stuff is and has been selling but let's take a look at Mariah Carey for an example.... she was pop in the 90's but she than got older and wiser and moved into the r&b arena. She is still a huge hit. E should do the same but rock instead.

I want him to do what he did with 7 and Insomniac! 7 was more rock influenced and Insomniac was very sexy and R&B! I want something like that!

Euphoria was great and it did alot for Enrique but on this album I kind of want him to go back to what he used to do while evolving. I really don't want too many collaboration because he is one of those artists who can stand alone! I want more instrumentals and R&B influenced! Hes his own genre because hes a mixture of all the genres. At the same time he has to do whats "in"! I'll be excited for what comes out though!

I don't have any preferences about the collaborations because he just can duet perfectly with everyone, he's too good, when Euphoria came out "One Day At A Time" ft Akon surprised me, in a good way obviously! As you said a Shakira collaboration would be pretty huge!! I think everyone is waiting for that! But at times I do miss songs where there was just his wonderful voice , it's better saying singles where there's just his voice because he writes perfect ballads and he puts these songs in his albums... like in Insomniac, 7... but he doesn't release them as singles anymore...nowadays it's sooo hard hearing ballads and it's a pity because his ballads are the best, they are soo deep so meaningful! I also like the "new" Enrique, as I said he can sing every genre! I hope he'll keep experimenting new sounds and stuff and that he'll risk releasing a ballad! Like he did with Heartbeat, that song was something like a break from all those similar songs on the charts! I'm sure he won't disappoint us, he never did! He's the best!
