Off Topic: Laura Jane's new song!

Hey guys!!

I know this isn't Enrique related, but Laura Jane is like family in the EI world, right ;)

In case any of you didn't know, Laura Jane uploaded her new song onto soundcloud today, and it's just awesome!!  As always she sounds amazing!  It's such an upbeat, feel good song that makes you want to dance :)

I really really like her, just from all the clips and one concert attended..she is very supportive of E..just so fun and yet proper on stage..following his lead always and so glad she is creating herself too..she is wonderful, sure E is supportive to her too...thanks..Sarah

You're so right Sarah!  Laura Jane is a lovely person, and she has great chemistry with E onstage :) I had the privilage of meeting Laura Jane in Dublin, and she was so nice and down to earth!

Awe thanks Melissa..how sweet to know that and how cool for you.  In a way her beautiful interesting voice reminds me a little of Bonnie Raitt and she was that way to me and she was the same..down to earth.  You know the only one I have seen 5 times is Bonnie..all in Portland, Oregon area and I could not see her for a sixth right after I had moved, August  2008 I think...here...and that night I met her at midnight in complete shock at my grocery store..she was exhausted..but I was so naturally in shock when she turned around tired that she walked right up to me extended her hand, asked my name and oh it was quite a sweet exchange. I had completely forgotten she was here..and it was like the chance of lightening hitting one..she reminds me of that kind of kindness and this story is why I think there is hope for meeting E somehow..thanks so much for validating my feel about her for me, I really fell in love with her voice from the Rotterdam clips this year...Sarah

What a nice story, Sarah! Thanks for sharing :)  I haven't heard of Bonnie Raitt before, but I will youtube her :)

How cool that you met her in the grocery store so unexpected, I'm so happy for you!  She does indeed sound like a nice woman too.  I hope for you that you will meet Enrique soon, and I believe you will!  He's one of the nicest people I've ever met, and I guess that's why his band are also so nice :)

thanks so much Vivi and Melissa..I really love the expanse of the years..and the music we can share and  mutually love and learn ..Bonnie is still active..was vety intrumental in setting up Artist's Care...I hope I have that name right..a big support for artists having financial and addictions problems, the big dinner and concert is always night before Grammys....she did tons for Jazz people in New Orleans with Katrina and before....her dad was an actor my mom knew..but that was before my time..can't think of him..I thought the bus in the parking lot was just another rich person headed to our national parks,,,LOL.

Seems like it`s from the 80s from its sound and its colours, I wasn`t born back then :P

Glad you could listen to it, it's a great song :)

I'm not too sure girl, maybe you should post a comment on her facebook or twitter page and ask for her permission first?  I think that would be best :)
