Question about husbands
The recent post by Nat who ran up on stage with the help of her husband got me thinking--how many of you have husbands or significant others who are supportive of your Enrique love? My husband is (he says it is his mission in life to see me get picked for Hero one day) and I love that he feels so secure and shares in my craziness for Enrique. But sometimes I wonder why he's not more jealous--what do you think?

Security and trust, when you know how much you are loved and how much you love the other person. Maybe he sees how happy you are when you are at a concert or listen to his music. It could be very simple that he adores you and wants what makes you happy.

My husband is AMAZING when it comes to my Enrique obsession...one time he even referred to him as "my wife's second husband"...in my case, the fact that it makes me happy is really all that he cares about. My husband likes Enrique's music too so that helps and he likes that Enrique is only a year younger than me so it's not like I'm going gaga over someone young enough to be my child or someone old enough to be my father...haha!!

Hahhah I'm laughing out sooooo loud. My husband was at the gym with his trainer one day, and an Enrique song came over the radio. So my husband told his trainer (who is a woman) "oh there goes my wife's man"..l the trainer got so mad, she said to my husband "where is he? I'm going to go punch him, how dare she cheat on you and then he shows up here" so my husband started laughing and explained that he meant Enrique Iglesias is my other man, not some real person. Hhahahha they both got a good laugh and then she told him I had good taste. OMG when he showed her the video from the concert with me and Enrique on stage, she told him she thought we were an amazing couple. He's accepted him as the other man in my life. I believe I'm quite annoying to some people because I don't think I can go one hour without saying Enrique....ahhhhh, but my sweetie gets it, so that's good.

My husband supports my Enrique obsession to the point he even shares a bed with us!!! I have a Enrique pillow on my bed he even sat through a whole concert on his own when I went VIP!!!!

Hee hee yep I agree.... Mine throws his jean over my Enrique cushion that Bex bought me. It's on my rocking char in our bedroom....
Not sure if its on purpose or just habit with him but he does bring me my tea in my E mug.... So I suppose he can't be to jealous of him.....
We will see now when I raid our bank account to get myself some VIP tickets for the next tour...

Lol I laughed when I saw this...don't question it hahahha. Super cool that he wants you to be a hero girl. Sometimes you need help. Be happy that they're not jealous. I think it's awesome that our guys are so cool. I've dragged my husband to 4 Enrique concerts in less than a year. I show him clips of Enrique's interviews and stuff and he said he seems so cool. I think for the women we think Enrique is so hot, but for the men they think Enrique is just a really cool guy that they can see themselves hanging out with. Plus guys think his girlfriend is so hot, that they find it highly unlikely that Enrique would leave her. All in all my husband thinks that Enrique is a really good guy.
Funny that you mentioned this because the security who escorted us out, actually asked my husband what kind of guy does that? Helps his wife go kiss another guy? The idiot didn't get it at all, and then he finally said something stupid "that my husband is so in love with me, that he's blind would do anything I say". I was so mad because it wasn't anything like that at all. My husband knows it was my dream to just hug Enrique, let alone get a kiss...and he was so happy that I got it, he said although we ended up getting kicked out, he wouldn't have changed anything. I love him and he's my hero. This is when you know you have a good man, when they're not threatened by someone else. Now if Enrique was my co-worker lol the story would be much different....hahahhahahaha!

4 concerts, I have you beat, I dragged my husband to 8 in the last 18 months...at MSG (second time) he got me the set list from the sound guy...and he made signs for the recent AC concerts...and he now knows the lyrics to a bunch of songs and walks around the house saying "baby I like it!"

That is so awesome. Wow 8 in 18 months. I see him when he comes around but udually just go to one show. I love being in his presence lol. Yup sometimes I catch my husband singing along in the car. Tooooo funny he was singing I Like It just last night. Great guys we have :-)
