Sarah's MOM

Please you guys..I know we try to not get too personal..but we are friends..my mom is in ICU with congestive heart failure, my sister just called me..please pray..she got home last night from trip with her last 12 year old grandchild with dad...and this started this AM and I just got the call..she stopped taking one med she should not have because she did not want to go to bathroom all the time..I pray this time is not it..plaease pray for my mom and family..I love it here and have special freinds here and dar acquantances and we all healing the world in our friendships..please please pray..thank you...Sarah

God bless you guys..tonight 3 of 4 daughters and 2 grandkids saw mom and dad eat dinner together at the facility where mom will be to get stronger, LOL I remembered to gas up before coming home...I was on fumes!!...it is going to be much easier now..one town and the bedroom town we live in...one hospital..one set of follow up doctors..not the same for each one mind you LMAO, and several for each....but all here...Dad is sleeping alone for first night tonight but he is good enough for that..he can't drive yet and i hug him too hard..geez..the bruise whew..thanks for continued prayers..about 6 weeks for all well..mom has this virus in her heart muscle still..and feet and all to get a bit better..but soooo much better..and this place will give her strength tricks that are not too much but just enough...and her room is real nice..kind of like a big 1950's dorm room with new paint, nice pictures a daybed and her bed and tables and chairs and TV and all the nurses are so nice..so we can drive dad there and he can nap and rest and read with her on the daybed...could not have done this without all of you and your prayers...they held up and healed and are still doing so..xxooo..thank God for Enrique, Here..and E friends....my song today and many days..Hugs..xxooo..sarah

 

 

 PS..I have to admit..I love the refrain out here with the stars nobody can **** with us BLUSH..and HUGS...LOLOL..Sarah

Thanks for the updates! Its a pleasure to read them and to "see" them getting up after this major ordeal! Please get some rest yourself, we don't need you to fall to pieces after all this stress!

Thanks I really do need to rest some..must go over sometime today..

We are having jokes..the nurses at care center,,not too close now...to my folks..no wires to be crossed..for right now no hanging a sock in the door to indicate do not enter..at the same time, each of them needing different versions of this..it all just floors me..Sarah..Dad is soooo bruised..S.

I am really glad to hear that all is going to get well, and hopefully you are too, Sarah. Like Maaike said, we don't want you to get floored after all this stress, so try and get some rest and distraction. Your parents seem to be taken care of very well in this center.

This Forum is an amazing place where we are scattered around the world, yet so close to one another, and sharing our lives and sorrows.

Yes..we are gong to get it down to each daughter having a carpool and feed dad dinner day and check on momand take him there to visit day..so they can spend time together,,too bad they are not both there in a way,,dad could use getting slowed down..so after some initial appointments, we should have a schedule..thank God for support..no one to really worry out loud with, anf blow off bosy sister steam..HUGS and Gratitude..Sarah

Well sweetie it 9:33 PM my time just now and headed to bed around 11..tomorrow I get dad and dinner for him around 3 at mom's temp abode...mom needs to want to try a little more..but she is still fighting this virus i think..sigh...God Bless..Sarah..Hugs

Sarah, I am so happy to read your parents are on their way to recovering - Just wanted to say I think about you all everyday and hope all is still going well and on track as far as it could be in such a short period of time.
