To fans who have been to concerts
How to you feel about the segment when Enrique takes a fan on stage? Do you think it is too long. Because I DO. If he is only going to be on stage for and hour this twenty bit is too long. Then to have the fan sing. UGH. I did not pay $274 to hear William Hung. I know he enjoys it but it does not have to so long. I have been to three concets and BELIEVE me people in the audeince are losing interest. You can attack all you want but I want Enriqaue to know Also ten song for a concert is not enought. It is too late for me my concets are gone but for the rest of the tour and furture tours just think about it.

If the concert is only going to last an hour, then I definitely want to see more of Enrique singing or even talking to the crowd as a whole (like the story he shared in Newark last year) versus just a couple fans for an extended amount of time. However, I do find the interaction with some of the people he calls up to be entertaining (the guys in Minneapolis last night were funny), but if he wants to spend more time with fans on stage, I wish he would consider touring by himself again. A solo concert would allow him to have more time for this segment with fans on stage to have a drink and chat with them, while also allowing time for him and the band to perform more songs than they can do and are currently doing with a multiple act show. I guess for me it all boils down to wanting more of just Enrique and unfortunately we're getting less. No need to stone me because I am a true and loyal fan with absolutely no intentions to change, but Enrique himself has said he loves to hear what his fans like or don't like and there's really nothing wrong with wanting more Enrique time :)

yeah, but it is just one fan who is on the stage that gets all the attentions while others are just hanging in there. It is one fan against thousands in the venue, and I think the majority wins and should get all the benefits of the show, such as his music and not listening to somebody else. If his shows would not be so short it would not be as bad.

And on this tour, it's a SHORT SET! I would have preferred one or 2 songs more!!!
If Enrique really want to meet his fans and to spend a spend quality time with them (the delight of fans!), he could get passes backstage to a certain number of fans present at different venues...

You know I have been to his shows & I do actually like this bit....
I do understand what your all saying, but I personally feel that Enrique cant please all of us all of the time!
I think as long as who ever goes on that stage makes it a night to remember, have a laugh, have a drink or 2 with a hot Latino Guy called Enrique Igelsias lol..then I personally havent got any issues with it.
He does his best he reads this Forum, he put "I like how it feels" in the show, which he didnt include in the first show in Canada! someone mentioned it on here that they felt it should be in his show, hey presto its in..:-)

Silentocean why do you post this here? This has nothing to do with the subject at hand. I don't see why Enrqiue would have to rest his voice four songs into the concert behinds you are using your voice to talk. Enrique has said talking in worse for your voice than singing is. I think he does this partly to amuse himself. He seems to get a big kick out of it. I also don't think hard liquor is very god for your throat either.. I don't think he sould be drinking on stage or making the fan drink. What if the fan got in an accident the smallest amount of alcholol can impair your drving Enrqiue would be partly responsible for that. That is off the subject. I wish he would do what he used to do in the early 2000's Do an ascousic set of his old Spanish songs he used even take requests. There are Thousands of people watching him yet he pays attention to just one. It is too long it gets boring. I sit down change my camera battery and look at the pictures I taken while this segment drones on and on. I love to hear Enrique sing that is why I am there.

It seems that some enjoy the fan on stage thing but the majority do not. it's just too long. If Enrique was singing during this time while fans are up there, I don't care if they're up there 20 minutes. But the thing is, he lets the fan sing one song and the rest of the time is chatting about someone that most people in the audience don't know and will never see or hear of again. Sure there might be a laugh here and there but we are not there for that kind of entertainment. We paid a lot of money for one reason, we love Enrique and his music and we want to see him perform it live. the more the better!
And yeah, it would be great to mix up the set list. There are so many great songs from every album and they don't have to be the singles! I love all of Enrique's songs and most fans say the same. Some of us go to multiple shows and I wouldn't mind seeing a few different songs at different shows. In addition to making each show more exciting, it will liven up the fan clubs as we anxiously await to hear the newest set list.
Just my opinion . .. but I love Enrique and his music and I'm a loyal fan. I've been a fan since 2004 and I'm not going anywhere. I will continue to go to concerts even if nothing changes.
I do appreciate that in Newark he sang I like how it feels and ring my bells and that I like how it feels has remained in the set let. That was sweet for Enrique to add that for us. :)

Nicely said, Linda. If not for this tour, hopefully for Enrique's own tour once he has a new CD out, things will be different. Just as you mentioned, no matter what, I will ALWAYS be a loyal fan. I think basically all Enrique needs to do is 'mix' it up a little, perhaps like you said---even sing songs from from his previous CD's such as "7" that were not released as singles, such as " You Rock Me" "Free", "Roamer". In California, he could make it even more special for those rans over there by singing "California Callin'" (which I am sure they would agree), and once he sees the reaction from the crowd, that ALONE would make him feel really good!

Here's a review from the Minneapolis concert on Wednesday. Enrique picked a great guy to come up, but yes, it did go on for like 15 minutes. I do think he gets exhausted and this is one way to help him rest between songs, plus he really does appear to enjoy it. Enrique is great with fan interaction and that's why we love him so much. He had a great show!!
