Tribute for Molly from Birmingham

 

 

I thought I would post a sort of tribute here for sweet little Molly Ollerenshaw, the 8 year girl that Enrique brought on stage in March at his concert in Birmingham.  Many of you have seen the video, it was extremely touching.  

 

Sadly, Molly passed away June 14th.  Molly had Wilms tumor, a cancer and had been diagnosed in 2006.  She was already a little celebrity at age 7 when she was the voice in an animated movie called One of a Kind, a film which prepared children for radiotherapy.  Such a brave little soul for her young age.

 

I wanted to mention that I attended that particular concert and was backstage when Enrique spent time with the 2 girls....it was an honor for me to be there to witness and Molly was all smiles and giggles with Enrique, who was just amazing with them.  When he brought them on stage, Molly was glowing all over, just full of smiles.  Her mother later said that the following day at school they were like little celebrities.  Enrique made sure he gave them a special night to remember, with lots of love, care and attention.  When he sang Stand By Me to them, there was not a dry eye around me.  It was one of the most emotional and memorable moments for me. Thank you Enrique for giving Molly that special night, for showing her so much love and bringing her much joy and happiness.....and a very special thanks to you Molly, for touching our hearts like you did and showing the world your precious and beautiful little soul.....the world has lost a special girl, may you rest in peace sweet one, you will not be forgotten.

Oh, no words coming out of my mouth ... just tears from the eyes ...

Now Molly is in Heaven .. and angels are around ...

 and the thing which E did to her ... was a compatonate sympathetic act of love to that poor little one ...  he gave her that unforgettable night of joy ... to reduce the sorrow of your passing away then

 

I've always known E is a kind person ...but now I know for sure he is a person with a large heart and pure soul ..

We should learn from these deeds to be kind and compationate to people ... to leave without cruelty ... only with love to each other not to destroy our souls ...  cause we never know what can happen tomorrow and when God asks us to leave this life ... Let's leave in peace and be in peace with ourselves to give love and shine to each other.

I'm shocked and deeply saddened to know about Molly :'(  I was watching Enrique's Stand by me video with Molly just yesterday, it made me think how was she doing..And then during the VH1 BTM videos too there was her reference....little did I know :(

Feels nice to know that Enrique contributed in her happiness, he's an angel who filled Molly's heart with joy, smiles and happiness. Can't stop thinking about Molly's giggles when Enrique asked her to sing backstage, you could tell she loved Enrique. She was such a great kid with the most beautiful smile.

I'll be thinking about Molly & her family...peace and blessings to them.

 

God bless you Jen for being such a strong woman, we all know you yourself are such a great role model for your kids and all of us too. Thank you for this post, I would have never known otherwise. xx

Tears..Joy for her release to heaven which I do have great faith in..and how wonderful this tribute dear Jen..it was a night I remember for you called afterwords and I heard my friends voice for the first time....so touched were you then..and Godspeed to you and all touched by dear Molly and deepest of prayers and condolences to your family Molly..and Molly in the arms of the angels much love to you thank you for your incredible gifts of remembering to have so much to treasure and to have positive attitude in life and thank you for the grace you gave to us all for having known your incredible spirit..Godspeed..Sarah

Thanks dear Sarah....yes that was the night....how you ever made out what I was saying through the tears I don't know.  She sure did have an incredible spirit...and as you say, Molly is in the arms of the angels and will suffer no more.  Too often life seems so unfair :(   HUGS xo

I'm heartsick to hear this news.  I didn't know Molly but having heard about her and seeing the footage of her time spent with E makes me realize what a sweet and beautiful little girl she was.  And I'm very sad to hear of her passing.  I don't know if Enrique is aware yet but I could tell from the videos how touched he was by her spirit and courage.  

Sometimes we don't always understand why things happen especially to innocent children.  While her life was not long in years she nonetheless made quite an impact in people's lives.  And that is something that they will remember always.  

 

Prayers and blessings to her family, friends and all those she touched.

Ah Jen..all your love and prayers..our love and prayers..they are real, they help dear Molly and her family on their journey..she'll be blessed..you were so deeply touched by everything and helped such a sensitive time for many of us I am sure just now..you can't follow E's music and tour and not see all the good deep, for lack of a better word spiritual and emotional healing things that happen , thanks for counting me as a friend....so very much..Sarah

When Jen told me about it, I couldn't believe it. I don't know what to say, only tears and sadness. I can't imagine the pain of this family.... life is so unfair. :(
Molly taught us many things, also made us think about many things.
yes, she did have an incredible spirit, and so much courage and strength for a little girl so young.
Sending my prayers and love to her family. May God give strength to all family and friends.

I know I said this many times but I repeat: there are many reasons that make me love you and admire you... you're one of the special people surrounding Enrique, that have the same positive energy of a good heart like him. You're a great woman!
