Tribute for Molly from Birmingham
I thought I would post a sort of tribute here for sweet little Molly Ollerenshaw, the 8 year girl that Enrique brought on stage in March at his concert in Birmingham. Many of you have seen the video, it was extremely touching.
Sadly, Molly passed away June 14th. Molly had Wilms tumor, a cancer and had been diagnosed in 2006. She was already a little celebrity at age 7 when she was the voice in an animated movie called One of a Kind, a film which prepared children for radiotherapy. Such a brave little soul for her young age.
I wanted to mention that I attended that particular concert and was backstage when Enrique spent time with the 2 girls....it was an honor for me to be there to witness and Molly was all smiles and giggles with Enrique, who was just amazing with them. When he brought them on stage, Molly was glowing all over, just full of smiles. Her mother later said that the following day at school they were like little celebrities. Enrique made sure he gave them a special night to remember, with lots of love, care and attention. When he sang Stand By Me to them, there was not a dry eye around me. It was one of the most emotional and memorable moments for me. Thank you Enrique for giving Molly that special night, for showing her so much love and bringing her much joy and happiness.....and a very special thanks to you Molly, for touching our hearts like you did and showing the world your precious and beautiful little soul.....the world has lost a special girl, may you rest in peace sweet one, you will not be forgotten.

So nice of you to post this!!! omg the story already gave me tears and goosebumps.....can´t watch those videos right now again......to sad! thanks for sharing this here in EI world! i am just soooo sooooo happy she had this amazing highpoint on stage with Enrique and backstage! i would even pay for her to be there with him on stage, seriously!!! i have already a weakness for children so imagine for sick kids:( this story was just heartbreaking....but she is in heaven now..sweet Molly!

Taylor Swift wrote a song with the mother of Ronan and sang it last night fund raising for cancer (Stand Up 2 Cancer). We all know someone touched by cancer, this song will tear your heart out, touch you and make you grateful, all at the same time. This is for Molly, and so many young and old who have suffered and left us too soon. This is available on iTunes and I understand 100% of the sales go to cancer research. (Thanks Taylor Swift for your amazing song 'Ronan' about a little boy who was 4 who lost his life to cancer, neuroblastoma)

Just wonderful...I really enjoyed the show too, thanks for calling attention Tracey..so fitting to all who suffer this disease and loss of anyone too soon and then just illness severe and life threatening..your words and experiences were mine and in a deep greif process now..I found it all uplifting.......sarah

OMG I have tears in my eyes... this is so unfair young kids go through so much... I am deeply sorry for the family.. May God hold her hands and guide her through eternal life. My hard is broken :(
