Enrique Iglesias

New single "Finally Found You" available on iTunes.

i know that this topic has nothing to do with "Enrique" and some people might not even give a shit about it...but im really fed up of Racism...i mean cant people respect what/who u r? cant they accept the fact that we all have different colors, religions, beliefs etc? What the point of Racism? Does it have any advantages? I dont know why racism is soo common among sum people..i mean even some discussion of this forum get so Racist that i never even feel like reading them...im a muslim, Im a Pakistani...millions of people think im a terrorist...and millions of people think that im an innocent Human being just like them...our society has changed so much over the years and people have started looking at their differences and started Judging people by their complexion, religion, race, nationality...no one (at least 60% of this world) looks at u as a whole...I love my friends i have made through this website why? because they respect me...they respect my religion, colour, nationality and they accept me for who i am...

Those were my thoughts...if u thought that i was wrong sumwhere fell free to tell me...and please share ur views...

nice pic. swooon!

Fully with you in every word you typed loves that everyone should respect the identity of the person to whatever religion or color eat a different person to another, but in the end we are human beings equal in everything in the Rights and Obligations
We can not ask someone to respect your identity and you do not respect this identity is not fairness and selfish
We all eventually humans

Great discussion...true points..it takes work and awareness to work at overcoming it..when one thinks they are not part of the problem...they "may be" unconsciously..it takes work to see how deeply things are imbedded..i think fear and not sharing in inter-cultural things makes it worse..it's funny but in basically cowboy white country here...even in 70's before hollywood and Ted Turner who has a huge amount of property here..and then the comming of corporate food so the small family supporting  ranch is almost a thing of the past....well in close to Native American and mostly white state there were the town kids and the ranch kids at high school   (in 1000 pop tiny town photo) we spent an hourand a half on a school bus; 3 hrs a day..using 2 to rendz-vous at a small 2 room 1-8 school that still exists.

The ranch kids were lower class..and my family only did it 20 years so we were never fully accepted by many at the ranch..then the bigger richer moved in long after we were gone and now they miss us....one sister's family still in area and she teaches and is considered the "old group" now.

I will admit..70's were really really ungodly snow years and we..the ranch bus..we were half the time 5 minutes late..impossible situation and therefore...always in trouble..we had miles and miles of dirt road..we were first ranch to be picked up soooo..there were days we could not make it..bus could not..then if dad could not bulldoze a mile with tractor we missed school...one year we were snowed in for 2 weeks...LOL..Sarah

I too love and appreciate you all..with dear hearts and expanding minds..a wonderful international experience and out of tiny rural area..I prefer small city...the city slicker in my family ..LOL..SARAH

Hey, what’s the story and what’s the crack?
I am white and you are black.
God made me and God made you,
Respect is what we got to do.
We cut our fingers, we bleed the same,
Different colours but different names.
We have things in common,
We like fun and games,
We run, we jump, we hop and skip,
And let no bad words pass our lips.
Because respect is what we got to do,
Respect from me and respect from you.

If you are being slagged because of your hair colour
or the colour of your skin or your language, don’t try
to slag them back and hurt their feelings.
Just say you’re proud, move on and find new meanings.

Wonderful post and ooh my MJ  thanks friend Hengame...Sarah

I totally agree with this topic lets all stand together against racism,we should all respect each other no matter what color religion or nationality,I hate generalization,I hate when someone could judge a group of people because a few of them,I am a Muslim and i can tell you that a true Muslim won't do such acts, actually Terrorism has no religion and the people who acts violent or aggressive they don't understand their real religion because there is no religion in the world which approves violence,i hope we could all stand against this and to love and respect each others.

I really thank everyone that has replied to this discussion because now i know im not the only person that feels this way...and looks like Sad Eyes linked this discussion with Enrique =P

All i wanted to say was that fine u may be rich and white but u dont have flaunt it...respect the way God has made u and others..respect the choices God made for u...

Its just that if i tell a person im american they'll be all friendly with me but as soon as they find out im Pakistani too their nature changes...i dont know why people do this...i totally agree some people are racist by nature...but they can keep it to them selves right...

but all tensions aside God made us and were all human beings and we all have the same skeleton, blood and flesh...and here i wud love to quote HENGAME's poem
