Where to go in Miami?

Hi All!

I am planning a trip to Miami, always wanted to go there.  I have no clue where to stay and what to do, aside from South Beach.  I would love some ideas of restaurants, nice places to stay, what to do.

Maybe I can stop in and have a drink with Enrique while there! LOL

Ok one other thing take plenty of money!!! And have a fab time Im trying to persuade the husband to go again!!!! Lol

Thanks Lynz and Bex, very helpful info!  I checked out the restaurant Enrique was just at meeting JLo, I may include a dinner there in my plans.  We will likely not go til the summer but I am collecting some info. now as I need some advice having never been there.

I just keep hoping that a show for Enrique might pop up there in the next few months.  Wishful thinking :)

My husband and I are going together. He is alot of fun.  We like to do and see different things and experience life of the rich and famous! lol

I know they have the boat tours that go by the homes o star island etc. Do they go by Enrique's current home? Where is his new home being built?  

Not to be a stalker,I like everyone am curious about his home.

How great...i'm planning also a trip to Miami but somewhere i feel there will be a tour soon again so i would love to visit miami when Enrique will give there a show yaaaay!! but anyway i started to make a list..this is what i have so far:)

 

For shopping:

-Dolphin mall

-Dadeland mall

-Merrick park

-Aventura mall

-Lincoln road (is also car-free) this must be heaven for shopaholics like me haaaa!

 

Some clubs:

-snatch (what a name ahhahah)

-The pawn shop

-opium gardens

-rose bar

-pearl

-coconut grove

 

and ofcourse you have to try and taste prime 112 (also one of Enrique's favourite restaurants) yaaaaay!!!

You can also make a boat trip through miami....i heard from some friends (also forumfans) that they did the boattrip and they showed them also Enrique's house and more houses....how cool!!! so chica enough to do in Miami.....can't wait to be there aaaaaaaaaah!!

Hey Amany!

That is awesome you are planning to go too!  I am just holding out on picking a date in hopes Enrique will have a show there sometime and I can work around it too!  Just have a hard time going to Miami without seeing him!

I have heard about Prime112, I wonder what time Enrique has dinner?? LOL

Yeahh we should visit Miami when he will be there too..and would be perfect if there is also a show of him during our trip yaaaaaayy!!

Your welcome!! and yep...sounds a great plan...we can help each other with planning our trip...even Ines can help us:) well enrique is spanish...and spanish people are used to have a late dinner;) love that too! hahaha

First of all, sorry for the delay but I just saw this topic!!

You are really lucky that you have this great opportunity to visit Miami, I haven`t had the chance yet and it`s one of my biggest dreams, visiting Madrid (Spain) and then Miami :( I don`t think so there will be any opportunity for me though, so desperate :(

Anyway, you can contact with fans from the forum and to plan meeting them :)

Then you can search to the Internet where is Enrique`s home to visit him or to visit him on his new house that he`s building :D

You can also meet other artists who live there :)

May I come with you? :D LOL

Just seeing this Vivi!  Sorry sooooo late. The topic got pushed back.  I will do my homework for sure on Miami.  Just want any advice from those who have been.

Would love to see EI's new home being built.
