New single "Finally Found You" available on iTunes.
Sometimes I will admit that doing what is good for you and being inspired to keep it up, can be tough. Starting a work out regiment can be tough too. I have been there. Finding a few minutes in a day for yourself to get your heart rate up can be difficult too. What I have come to realize is that making a small commitment to yourself goes a long way. Finding even 20 minutes to take a brisk walk, hop on a treadmill or another type of activity that you might enjoy will make you feel better. It really does.
So I thought I would share a couple of ways I work out with Enrique. I try to use the slower beats to begin for a warm up and to end in a cool down. He sounds great in an MP3 player, singing right in your ears. I always think music, especially his, sounds great. You may end up hearing subtle things you hadn't recognized before. And even smiling while you work out. Who could imagine? Lol.
For beginners, you can start with about 20 minutes. It isn't a huge time commitment. Here's my favorite 20 minute (okay, a little more) workout song list:
Ring My Bells 3:55
Tired of Being Sorry 4:01
I Will Survive 3:43
You Rock Me 3:44
Tonight (pick your most inspiring version) 3:52
Free 4:38
As you gain strength and endurance you can take that list and add a song that inspires you. This will you will have music your whole work out. My longer work out list is this one:
Lloro Por Ti (I like the Wisin and Yandel Enrique version) 4:19
Takin Back My Love 3:50
Bailimos 3:32
I Like It 3:52
Dirty Dancer 3:32
Everything's Gonna Be Alright 3:48
I Like How It Feels 3:39
Tired of Being Sorry 4:01
The Way You Touch Me 3:51
Escape 3:29
Do You Know 3:28
Roamer 3:57
Live versions of some of these can be great too, if you have them. He is particularly engaging in concert clips.
And remember, if you aren't an active person, that's okay. Everybody starts somewhere, just do what you can. Working out with Enrique is fun. You might find you actually look forward to that time and you'll like how it feels!
Good Luck. Share your Enrique work out list inspiration, if you have one too.
Thanks. And a special thanks to Enrique for keeping me going.

Permalink Reply by TheNomik on April 9, 2012 at 9:06am I like your work out play list, I think I should make my own too! I'm lazy through winter season and in summer I use to go on bike or the roller skates, or I play tennis with my mum and friends or what I love the most is swimming... :) I don't have work out play list but I should make one! I will think about it and I'll share it with you :))
Permalink Reply by Trudie N595E on April 9, 2012 at 9:43am Nice topic, Tracey. You inspired me to take up a regular workout! Some time ago you suggested to use the Belfast 2009 concert. I did, and I already have stamina for 5 songs!!! It's easy to train longer, because you will never stop in the middle of a song, and then you are stretching your own limits, if you know what I mean. I never liked workouts, but with Enrique it's fun. As you said, I find myself laughing at his remarks or listening to the songs more intently. I close my eyes and I see the venue and him performing! It's never been so much fun.
LOL It should have been him on TBL.
I love your suggestion of Tonight: pick your most inspiring version! LMAO
Permalink Reply by Cristina M. on April 9, 2012 at 10:19am I usually go to the gym 3 times a week and I love to listen Enrique's music while I'm doing treadmill and other exercises. His voice and music gives me energy! And of course "I love how it feels" is one of my faves to do treadmill :)

I plug the set list I listed in the beginning into my iPod to keep me exercising longer. You can make your own Enrique list, or any other music that pumps life into you. I figured Enrique would be a good place to start for many of us here, as he is both inspiring to us and can help get our heart rate up for a cardio work out.
Trudie is right, the Belfast 2007 Concert is great, and if you can make it through that entire routine, you can pretend you are Leann, the HeroGirl. It's almost to the end of an hour routine, but just as you think you might fall over from complete fatique, he starts the Hero conversation and then you will have added life. Promise. Lol.
Do share your Enrique list, if you have one. I wonder if Enrique listens to anything special to keep his workouts inspired?
Permalink Reply by Trudie N595E on April 9, 2012 at 10:38am It is on youtube: here's the BELFAST ROUTINE for you, Kristina: and sorry, it was not 2009 but 2007:
Permalink Reply by Trudie N595E on April 9, 2012 at 10:52am Maybe it will help not only for a workout, but also out at work. LOL
Permalink Reply by Trudie N595E on April 9, 2012 at 1:49pm Have you ever been to a concert? From your comment I think you did not. I hope you will get a chance soon, Kristina.
Permalink Reply by Tracey_EchangetheWorld1HeroGirl on April 10, 2012 at 7:42am The Belfast Concert will get you warmed up to his concert glory, while you wait for him to perform in a city near you.
Yep it is ! Just type Enrique Iglesias full concert and it is one of the first hits you get ! It is a 1 hour video !!
Permalink Reply by Tracey_EchangetheWorld1HeroGirl on April 9, 2012 at 10:57am If you use it to work out, you might notice that the set list is not in sequence of beat. But use it once and you will recognize that E's commentary will get your feet going and heart pumping. It is one of my favorite inspiring routines. The time is gone before you know it. Workout with a smile with this one.
Permalink Reply by Trudie N595E on April 9, 2012 at 10:58am It was a great suggestion you gave me. I enjoy my elliptical like never before, Tracey. And the concert is amazing. Love the way he sings Bailamos in this concert .... among other things.
