  Enrique delivers a stunning performance in which he presents his first superhit Por amarte on the Mexican tv show Hoy con Daniela Romo.  Whoever saw him (and sees this video) performing Por amarte on Daniela's show shudders at the passionate look in his face and expressive and sensitive voice. 

His exceptionally excellent performance gets to the heart of every single soul in the audience, which can be told from the emotion on his fans'  faces.  His hundreds of fans madly enjoy and let themselves be swept away by his music and live show.

After this Enrique sits down to chat with the program's host Daniela.  In the interview he tells that the songs on his first album come from the bottom of his heart or in other words are a mirror of everything he felt and was going through his mind when he wrote their lyrics in his late teens (between the age of 15 and 18) withdrawn in his room.

I was really blown away when seeing this fragment of his appearance on the tv show Hoy con Daniela.  Since the day his first album came out Enrique has always loved his fans from the bottom of his heart and on the show he desired to reward them for their overwhelming and unconditional support and he invited Lucy Reyes, one of his biggest fans in Mexico and the vicepresident of his Mexican fan club, to chat with him and he hugged her.   

I felt deeply touched by the sweet and affectionate way Enrique talked with her and the loveful words he addressed to her that he owed a lot to his fans for their massive support and that he felt deeply overwhelmed by the effort and money they put into meeting him and being close to his heart.  I almost cried at hearing his wonderful words.  Every day I am eaten by the continuous repent about not having supported Enrique since his beginnings as many of his Mexican fans.  Instead of being more open to discover Enrique's music I idolized some damned movie actor who doesn't care a shit about his fans, only about the environment (as he pretends). 

After getting to know one of his biggest fans Lucy Enrique goes on to comment his plans of leaving for Brasil after the show where he will be recording a Portuguese adaption of his first album, which was already translated into Italian.

 After everyone has noted down the fan address for his Mexican fans  Enrique gets on stage to perform his great hit Si tu te vas, which since its release on the memorable date of September 25 1995 has conquered the hearts of the Hispanic public all over Latin America and the States.  Si tu te vas is that kind of song that gets to the heart of everyone who listens to it.  During his gripping show the entire public including the people crowding the last few rows are totally over the moon and all of them are singing with Enrique while tears are rolling down their cheeks and their faces are glowing with emotion and happiness. When later on Enrique leaves the stage to mingle with his public, his fans in the first rows are pushing frenetically to give him their love and live the most wonderful moment in their lives with their idol.

I don't know when the awards will be handed out, there's still no concrete date set, but I think it will be later this Spring  (at the end of this month, May or June).  Still, don't wait to vote,  enter the World Music Awards page today cause the more times you vote the better for Enrique.

 It’s  very obvious that Enrique is the one who most deserves to win in the categories World’s best Male Artist, World’s Best Song and World’s Best Performer of the Year.  It would be a shame if he lost to the other nominees; that’s something we can’t let happen.  All of us we must support Enrique.   He’s the best in every sense, but that’s not the only reason why we should vote for him;  imagine the happiness in his face when at the World Music Awards ceremony he hears three times “and the winner is…Enrique Iglesias”.   The awards mean a lot to him, so please support him.  Please, vote for Enrique!

COME N GO,  AN EXCELLENT  SONG BY PITBULL FEAT ENRIQUE

I adore the song Come N Go from Pitbull featuring Enrique for many reasons and one of them is that  I LOVE Enrique's performance in it. The song is on Pitbull's sixth studio album Planet Pit which came out on June 17 2011.  Come N Go is a great rap song that sweeps you away, gives you a huge boost of energy and makes you feel good.  The rap verses and chorus are very entertaining and say how it feels like if it's easy as pie to make the girls swoon or to make the girls go as it says in the chorus.  It's a exquisite song that has you dancing (like I like it)  and is excellent to enjoy on a party (and of course in any other moment).  Check out this cool song Come N Go, you will enormously enjoy it, I'am sure.

Just like he always does Enrique is incredibly amazing and leaves everyone stunned at his awesome concert at the festival Gallo Evolution, Guatemala, March 30  2013 

 

On Saturday March 30 Enrique was the one to close the festival Gallo Evolution in Guatemala, which he did giving an outstanding performance.  Almost 10 000 people crowded the arena Super 24 en the coastal city Puerto San Jose in Guatemala to enjoy, cry and get crazy with Enrique's gorgeous and excellent show full of energy and suprises. Below I have posted some video's of his exceptionally good performance at the Gallo Evolution Festival 2013 on Easter Saturday in Puerto San Jose.   I hope you'll enjoy them.

I LOVE THE SONG FIRST DAY OF MY LIFE COMPOSED BY ENRIQUE FOR MELANIE C. 

I have enjoyed very much the single First day of my life by the British singer and actress Melanie C (and its music video).  The song focusses on searching happiness in life and represents the evolution lived by a women who is depressed and sometimes tired of her life and she works to change her life and she grows to love her life and find happiness in small things. First day of my life bears the wonderful and optimistic message that it's possible to love and to enjoy life if you want to.

You will all know that the song has been written by Enrique (together with Guy Chambers).  For the thousandth time Enrique shows that besides being the most talented singer in the world and the one who is most amazing on stage he is also an exceptionally  gifted songwriter who writes very gripping songs full of meaning.   

The Enrique-composed and Melanie-recorded song First day of my life came out in September 2005. One year before Enrique had written the lyrics in italian (Un Nuovo Giorno)  for the album Andrea from the Italian artist Andrea Bocelli that came out in October 2004.

ENRIQUE NOMINATED FOR TWO LATIN BILLBOARD AWARDS 2013

Enrique is very likely to triumph again at the Latin Billboard Awards in Miami within two weeks (April 25).  He has been nominated twice in the categories Artist of the Year (Hot Latin Songs) the other nominees being Shakira, Michel Telo and Ricardo Arjona and Tour of the Year for his last summer tour with Jennifer Lopez.  To my mind (and it's the mere truth) there's no latin nor international artist all over the globe who has his astounding talent and neither can I imagine anyone who is able to give such fabulous and impacting concerts as Enrique does.  And there isn't anyone who is so devoted to his career as Enrique, another proof is all the effort, care and love he has been putting in his new album in the last few months and soon we will see and enjoy the fruits of his great work.

 It would be such a shame if the trophee for Artist of the Year went to someone else and I also feel that his past spectacular and gripping summer tour with J Lo must be recognized as best tour of the year.  Let’s pray that Enrique wins in both categories (Artist Latin Pop of the year and Tour of the year) but I am convinced that he stands a better chance than the other nominees to win because of his talent, devotion, affectionate way of treating with his fans and impressing history of super hits, which is extremely hard for any artist in music history to beat (68 number one hits in Billboard and 23 number one hits on Billboard Hot Latin Tracks).

Unfortunately, the winners are determined on the basis of the Billboard charts and not by public voting.  I feel very sorry that it is not possible to vote for Enrique,  cause I would have loved so much to support him with those awards, which mean a lot to him.  But on the other hand since the awards are handed out according to the data charted on Billboard I know that it’s Enrique who is most likely to win, as he has achieved most hits (and he largely outdoes Shakira and the other nominees) and makes most people happy with his music.  So I don't worry,  and I feel that again Enrique will take the Billboard Awards evening (like last year, in 2011 and in 2009,when he won no fewer than six awards).

On April 21  a special broadcast will be aired about Enrique on Eurochannel in which the audience can enjoy Enrique's awesome music and in particular all his greatest hits, ranging from Bailamos, Escape and Hero to his more recent Euphoria hits such as I like how it feels, I like it, One day at a time, Heartbeat, Dirty Dancer, No me digas que no and Cuando me enamoro and of course his newest single Finally found you.  The program will feature special guests who are dancing and partying with Enrique's songs converting their living rooms into  cosy night clubs, where they enjoy an incredible evening getting crazy with Enrique's music,  losing all control and thinking about nothing than having fun and enjoying and being swept away by all his songs.  

Don't miss this gorgeous program in which all Enrique's past and recent hits will be performed!   I would feel dreadful if I missed it, so on Sunday 21st I 'll be waiting in front of my tv or computer impatiently and excitedly to enjoy this great special.
