I know its not the best picture in the world. Here is the story behind i.
It was in Vegas at Mandalay Bay, for the ceremony of the Latin Grammy. Im a TV Host, so i was there for the event. He didnt appear at the green carpet, still i had the hopes that we will meet. Before i left i printed to copies of the picture we take when he was here for a concert on June 8 08. Anyhow...we where at the Media Center and there he is in front of a mic and camara in a room full of media from all over. After 8 min and my Producer encouraging me i finally stand up and walk toward the stage right side, that is just covered with a blanket. I didnt by then, i saw his manager gave him the envelope with both pictures and a sharpie (that i still keep btw) and asked him to give it to Enrique for an autograph. Obviously he wasnt happy about it and security was now looking at me. "I love him, for a second i cant remember im a media here, he is just to meters away from me, im just asking for an autograph, plz, dont say no", he had no choice now, and said yes and pull the curtain so i couldnt see. A minute later Enrique left the stage at the Media Center, and i hear when he was asked for the Autograph, and he asked for my name and singned. I was so happy. It made my day. That was enough for me. I was payed. But then i was so happy i couldnt believe. So me and my Producer went outside and left the Camaraman inside, to take some air. After like 15 min we went back inside, and then destiny but us back together. I didnt saw him, my producer hold my hand and told me "look infront". There he was i, my camara was in my purse, YES kill me know. And the i remember my closest relationship was in my hand...my Blackberry. So i didnt even think about it, just walk towards him, gave him a kiss and say: "can i take a picture with u?". With a not so happy face by his manager, he answer yes while he extended his arms for me to get by his side and place his left hand in my shoulder. As i did this i gave my BB to my producer. She was nervous too. And she put the cam on, that didnt had the flash activated btw, and took the picture at the same time someone call him and that why he is not lookin at the cam.
I dont care, i know its him and me. And that moment was and will always live in me..
