I wrote to you on Tincuta's bday topic.  That sure brought back memories.  Great to hear from you.  Yes, I'm going to Chicago.  It's been since 12/06 since I saw him.  I got my old job back at the mortgage company, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?  After 4 1/2 yrs, out of the blue I got a call from a girl who is still there though it's not the same company, it's an actual bank.  Everything is going great right now.......knock on wood!  So I decided to do it up big this time.  Got the Diamond VIP, with special perks which hopefully includes a preshow party where I hope to meet him this time.  The seats are 2nd row from the stage.  This is going to be so exciting!  I'll prob never spend this much money again.  I hope it all works out that you're supposed to get.  But I'm very happy with the seats.  August 3, that's the show date. 

What about you?  All going better?  I hope so.  Don't be a stranger.  Pop in more often.  I'm still here though not many of us long timers are around.  So different now, nothing is the same.  Missin a lot of friends.........just like YOU!

Missin you girl!

Sounds like you're in the same boat as me.  I guess I should be happy that things are at least going "ok" for me these days.  It's so dif since 2007, the struggles financially and with my son. Seems to be constantly up and down. When I see that light at the end of the tunnel, something always kicks the dirt back over it making me to continue to dig my way out.  I swear I do not know how I've managed to keep things going.  I honestly can't say how I've made things work.  But I do know my mind is always thinking of new things, better way, to try and get ahead of this game of life! 

 

Last I remember, your husband was taking classes.  Am not remembering if he is through and working.  You still at the Mall?  You can send a pm if you want to talk about what's going on.

 

You mentioned the weather being a lovely night for a concert.  I haven't looked at E's tour schedule recently, was he there?  Did you go see him?  Would be good to hear from you some more, hope that happens.  I miss all those fun times on here, so many are gone now.

 

Fall Festival was not good.  It was in the low 40's, rainy, place was muddy, what a mess!  Stayed in the inlaws camper Saturday night.  No way I would have tent camped in that mess!  Did that once before, it was so cold it was spitting snow that time.  Never again!  Sunday was a lil better, rain held off except for some sprinkles now and then.  Got to listen to my fav band. They are hilarious.  Sing songs from back in the day lol  Like Chantilly Lace, that kind of stuff.  Not my type of music but these guys put on a show, dress up as other artists singing that artists songs.  It's been really nice since Wednesday.  Will be through the weekend.  Hope to get my decorations out and finish stacking the wood.

 

I'll be waiting to hear from you again.  I'm always around though sometimes I don't answer right away, please forgive me of that fault.  Thinking of you, sending a big warm hug to a special friend on this forum that I still love hanging with.  :)

Lola, I miss you too and I feel so bad about missing your birthday.   I knew it was coming, I had intentions of doing a topic for you as I always do.  That weekend we were stacking wood, it's that time of year.  With my stepdaughter's bday on the 22nd and my older son's on the 28th, time slipped away until I saw your post in here and it hit me :(  I'm so so sorry! 

 

 

 

I really hope you had an awesome day with family and friends.  I too think often about the fun in this place that so many of us enjoyed.  It's so dif now, all new people, rarely seeing many of the older members.  Things change over time, guess that's a given.  Hope you will be around for Idol when it starts.

 

I also thought of you on first day of fall because I remember you love it like me :)  But damn lol it's going to be so cold here this weekend, in the 50's :(  Fall Festival at the campgrounds is this weekend, I'm hoping it doesn't rain to make things more miserable!

Wow you really look dif in this dp but it seems maybe the angle it was taken makes your eyes much bigger..........possible?  You need to post a pic so I can see you now.
